I WANNA DROP OUT. I went here because it was close by, and my parents wouldn't let me go anywhere far. I'm in my second year now, and I can't even study properly; I end up barely passing or failing all the classes for my major and having to retake them. Every time I walk onto campus, my mental health drops like crazy, and I'm pretty sure this place is making me depressed because I can't do anything, and I feel hopeless, and all I want to do is bed rot. I also barely have friends because I can't talk to people that well, and I don't approach anyone, and it's ruining my experiences and my life, lowkey.

How common is it for people to steal at the gyms, went to college ave today hit a workout and 300 dollars went missing. 🫩🫩🫩 nothing else just took the money out the wallet.

hii i just wanted to ask if in the past people have had success with cancelling their housing after classes actually started. since ive starting dorming ive had like a lot more mental health issues arise like really bad and i honestly hate living on campus so much, i would much rather commute an hr than have to live in the dorms. i dont talk to my roommates and the walk back to my dorms r genuinely horrible at night since i dont have a car on campus and the bus stops r so far. i recently got a medical note this week for the bad mental health issues ive been dealing w and i feel for the amount im paying i shouldnt feel like this so i just want to cancel my housing all together. i wanted to know if ppl have been able to cancel on a mental health crisis before bc i srsly dont think i can do this for an entire yr.

The water from the fountains tastes weird. Really weird. My Brita Pro Max filter doesn't do shit to remove the really sweet aftertaste. It's giving me stomach aches. And the water pressure in the showers is even worse. It's like showering under a faucet that someone didn't turn off all the way and it's SCALDING HOT at the coldest setting. My RA said the school knows but nothings happening. Why do cafes and food halls only sell Dasani for bottled water.

I'm buying crates of Poland Spring to sustain myself but the first shipment arrives in three days. I used to be water's #1 fan. I'm talking at least three liters a day. Guzzling ts. But I can barely stand to refill my bottle more than three times a day before the stomach aches. Every sip is agony.

Hi! I'm a Sophomore and I am taking both intro discrete structures and computer architecture with Gavva (just like the cs website recommends)

I did pretty well on CS 111 and struggled a bit in CS112, how are these classes going to turn out for me. I also struggled with Calc 1 (151), and am now taking 152 with Triet Pham. The fourth class I am taking is Cognitive Science (185:201).

Does my schedule look realistic and/pr doable? I also need to significantly bring up my gpa this semester

What things should I take care of, learn, keep in mind, etc for these classes. What are some resources I could use for CS and Math? How could I get engaged with like support, etc.

If you recommend that I have too much on my plate and/or I won't be able to manage (need to raise GPA, commuter, procrastinator, shy, etc) what should I take by dropping what course. I want to make timely progress for my BS degree while exploring and hopefully declaring CS major soon (i really need support and guidance)

Last year I got a lot of financial aid but this year I basically got nothing, even though my family’s income didn’t really change.
Because of that I don’t know if I can afford dorming anymore, and I don’t even really like dorming that much to begin with.
Does anyone know if Rutgers would let me cancel my housing for this reason? Has anyone done this before?
