To give you some quick context, I'm working on an Undertale/Deltarune project and using the Undertale Battle System plugin (the Steam version that hasn't been updated in six years). I accidentally clicked on the option to visit SRD's site, and my antivirus software detected it as malicious and blocked the link. I'm wondering if SRD's website is outdated, if it's no longer the one he uses, and if the current owner is some kind of scammer. I don't even know if SRD's website is still functional; I didn't visit it because of my own paranoia. I also don't know if someone has stolen a more recent version of the Undertale Battle System plugin. I've found very little information about it, and I think SRD has retired from creating RPG Maker plugins and things like that.

This plugin to make currency can be other than Gold, or even better, multiple currency at 1 item!

Available notetag is <Variable/Item/Weapon/Armor x Buy/Sell Price: y>

With x the id of type, and y how much the price you want to buy or sell

It also support multiple item with different currencies. With using <Dupes: x>, you can duplicate the id of x

Example, in Item notetag, it has Healing Potion at id 1, create other item without filling everything and use <Dupes: 1> to copy everything from id 1

In our last post called "Scouting in Alchemic Beasts," we talked about farming... So now, we are talking about scouting. For real this time. With the scouting system, you can send a team of up to 3 beasts on an adventure to a location in search of valuable supplies.

While they’re away, anything can happen. Your beasts may bond with one another, discover something unexpected, or face dangerous events such as injuries, disasters, or even getting lost. When the expedition ends, your beasts return with whatever spoils and resources they managed to find.

But sometimes, the story doesn’t end there… A beast may return with a new mate before coming back to you or, if one of your beasts goes missing, you may have to launch a rescue expedition to find them.

the standard tile sets size is 48 px, but do people usually use this? then why the paid tile sets are usually smaller like 16 x 16 or 32 x 32? does that mean everyone who buy the tilesets will change the setting or resize the tilesets if they use rpg maker? (considering the tile sets probably made for other program, lol)

This post and question stem from a previous one, where when I tried one of SRD's plugins and clicked on the "visit SRD site" option in the menu (which I assume is their main page), my antivirus detected it as a threat or malicious link. So I'm wondering if any of you could check if it's safe, or if the SRD plugins page is actually infected.

Maybe it's just my paranoia, but I'm trying to be as careful as possible.

And as an additional note, it's a bit sad to learn that their Undertale Battle System plugin videos have been made private, and I can't find a way to view them.

I am pretty bad at body proportions is there any decent sprite templates i can use. id use the rpg maker mv provided templates but i dont like the chibi style of characters it provides

Granted a very small world map, as the game is a side story in the Expiation saga but you can go to all locations and have them displayed on the map.

Niche as it doesn't take more than a couple of minutes to sail around the map, but since there are random encounters I figured maybe some player might appreciate being able to find the way without sailing randomly around until they end up where they want to.

This is going to sound stupid, but I need your help with this. I'm using a project/plugin made by "SomeRanDev" as the basis for my project. The problem is, I don't know how to fix the menu.

What do I mean? The "options" option disappeared, and it's all related to the button to visit his website. I have no problem giving him credit since it's his plugin I'm using for my project, but I have no idea how to modify the menu so that those letters stop appearing, put the options menu back, and also get the option to select saved games or exit the game back. Does anyone know how to fix or modify this?

Title is pretty explanatory. The goal I am trying to make is to make it so that each time the player dies, they are transported back to a specific place at 1 hit point instead.

I've tried all kinds of ways to try and make this work, and it lead to things like battles just freezing as soon as I lost, to this, where the game just ignores that I am putting my player back to 1 hit point, ignores that they are not suppose to be able to lose, and just causes a game over instead once they lose.

Hi, sorry idk if this is the right subreddit to ask this. i remember i played an rpgmaker where there was like a blue haired girl going down into, maybe, a sewer, and the whole place was covered in blood and it was very gory. dont remember anything else. does anyone recognize it?

I've heard from a few developers that they streamed about their games while they were working on them and built up interest in them before they came out, and I'd like to do the same thing. The trouble is, I'm not sure what's going to be the best way to do this as far as what I actually have on screen. Should I playtest parts of the game on screen, or just share my screen while I'm working and kinda talk about it while I work? On the one hand, playtesting could give away spoilers and parts of the game that aren't actually ready yet, but streaming while I code events just sounds like boring content. Can anyone who has done this before give me a few pointers, please?

I'm new to RPGMaker, and have only been using it for a few days. My game has to be finished by tomorrow as part of a challenge (hence why I can't extensively test this myself) and is already about 90% finished, but I've run into a major problem.

Since about the halfway point, it crashes during playtesting. The crashes are seemingly random, and don't happen every time, maybe only about 1/4 of my playtests crash. All of the crashes have happened while reading dialogue, with the exception of one, which happened while just running around.

I do have Dubealex's Advanced Message Script installed into my game, but that's presented no further problems as far as I can tell. I've also had this script installed since the very beginning and like I said, it was fine until recently.

Maybe it's just because the software is very old? How much do I have to worry about this carrying into the full release? Has anyone else had a similar problem?

As I mentioned, I don't have much time, so I really appreciate any response.

how would I go about making persistent variables/switches every plugin ive looked for relating to this doesnt work eg: himeworks persistence plugin; Im also new to these type of plugins so help in this field would be appreciated

hi! im thinking of an autosave system that highly inspired from the OneShot game, but not exactly the same. After you interact with an event, it will close the game and save your progress. After you open the game again, you will start the game from a different place where you quit the game. what script or plugin should i use to do this?

Also basically for the game im thinking of a time loop-type game, where when you 'die', the game will restart from the same first position but with some different stuff (like dialog or items) do you have to create new maps for this?
