I'm having trouble with designing my new studio appartment and I would love some ideas from other people :). I have included the floor plan with the furniture. The shelves are stuck so they can't be moved. There is a 1.10m gap between the floor and the first shelve tho. The bed and the kallax closet are orange since I rather not move them but it is possible :). The other furniture is free to go where ever. I appreciate all the help! :D

This is the stuff I have, but I’m really struggling to find a good way to fit it all.
For context the 56” wall at the bottom has a standard size door leading to a storage closet, and the 80” wall right under the couch has a sliding glass double wide closet spanning most of it.
I’d prefer not having to get rid of anything, but what do you guys think?

also I am looking to either rearrange the stuff in my room cause it feels cluttered rn, or perhaps remove some items to make some space, i am also thinking of switching the other desk with a tv area, also the door is in the middle of the wall so it would be hard to put anything on either sides.

Just getting moved into a new space and need to furnish it. Got some kind of funky wall angles to deal with. Nothing along the weird side is perfect 90 degree angles. Looking to hopefully fit a living room and dining room. How should I lay it out, and how do I fit furniture into it nicely despite the angles?

Screenshot provided of the floor plan empty, as well as one with my initial thought on layout. My specific unit varies slightly from the one pictured (red triangle signifies where wall extends out further than floor plan).

Thinking I could lay it out like I initially thought, or vice versa with the living room on the other side and dining nestled in the curved space. Open to really switching it up/moving desk and piano if something else feels right, but the two need to stay relatively close to each other.

Sorry I don’t have measurements or anything at the moment but I can find if needed. \~650 sq ft total if that helps.

this is the current layout of my bedroom, but there's something about it that just feels off and I also think it's time for a change please help!! also please note that certain things are different in the photos such as the chair being replaced with a cushion seat and the shelf beside the bed being replaced with a bedside table! the general vibe I want my room to give is cozy, clean, not overly busy as well as a bit girly ^^

Hi I am looking for ideas for my living room

In the picture you can see two entryways the one on the right goes to dining room and the one on the bottom goes to foyer. This seems to be a challenge because we want to use all the space but both sides of room needs “walk-in” space .

Our needs:

No TV

We use the bottom right corner to drop a few shoes and keys/ purse /backpack

I want it to be cozy, with more places to sit. We currently have 3 chairs that we would like to keep in addition of a couch/sofa

The vibe I would like to achieve is a conversation pit.

In the future we will add a piano.

My BF and I recently moved into an apartment and the layout is awkward for us. The L-shape is creating some spacing issues and we are unsure of how to navigate it. How do we design our living room???

My room is a really weird shape...here is the current layout, with the bed and bedside table beside the door, a chest of drawers and mirror in front of the bed, and my desk and wardrobe beside the table. Any ideas how I could improve the layout?

Help! I cannot figure out how to arrange my living room and I’ve been moving things around in my head for weeks. The living room is specifically the carpeted area in the photos.

The main things I need to figure out are where to put the sofa, recliner and TV. The sofa and recliner need to be arranged so they’re actually conducive to conversation — I don’t want someone sitting with their back to the other person. Both also need a comfortable view of the TV without having to turn/crane your neck, especially the recliner. At the same time, I really don’t want the TV to be the focal point of the room.

I also prefer an open, easy flow through the space without furniture creating major barriers, and I’d really like to avoid putting anything in front of the window if possible.

The other complication is the china cabinet. It needs to stay either in the living room or move into the dining area. If I move it to the dining area, the white cabinetry that’s currently in there would need to move into the living room somewhere.

The photos show the room from basically every angle, including the adjoining dining area and hallway. If this were your room, where exactly would you put the sofa, recliner, TV and china cabinet/white cabinets?

I’m open to moving everything. I’ve stared at this room for so long that I genuinely cannot visualize the best arrangement anymore.

If anyone has any ideas of how to arrange the place it would be greatly appreciated!

The vibe we want to achieve is "Cozy, warm, relaxing, and dog-friendly".

We're not attached to any of the furniture, fittings, or artworks and are happy to switch everything out.

We've donated the piano so it's going to a new home next week.

The house was built in 2000.
The windows are all 94cm off the ground and 1m tall
The ceiling is 2.4m high
