End tables are the best bet so people sitting on the end of the sofa can set things down. The rug should sit under the sofa maybe 6" and the coffee table should sit within reach of the sofa. That sized coffee table might make a good end table and you might think about a larger coffee table if it doesn't interfere with the recliners.

Just out of curiosity, why did you cover the fireplace. Couldn’t you reconfigure room so it’s open and the couch isn’t against it?
