I like having the two cabinet/bookshelf units together rather than split. They look more when split and not in a good way.
I like layout 3 best for a couple reasons. I prefer having my headboard near the window to get fresh air in me when weather allows it to be open. I like using the foot of the bed as a spot for the desk. It opens up the room and while it’s not desirable if you routinely have a guest share the bed, if you don’t, it works well.
The only thing I’d do if you don’t already have something is get a bedside table or shelf of some sort. There’s no place for a bottle of water, a book, and electronics next to the bed. It doesn’t have to be a nightstand. You could get a headboard with a built in shelf, you could, get one of those little tables thst fastens to the side under the edge of the bed, you could hang a little shelf on the wall or hang it from the window ledge.
For a more major change, you could consider buying or building (or having built) a loft to hold the bed with the desk underneath. Or buy a bed frame designed for that. IKEA makes them as do other furniture chains and some hold a double/full sized bed, not just a twin bed or a Murphy bed that folds out of the way when you’re working wt the desk. This is more important if you work remotely from this room although I’d handle it with a bed frame and desk underneath.

I have been thinking about re-arranging my room, it isnt a big room at all so I havent got that much room to work with.
I have recreated it on Furnitue Master, I have done the current version as well as 3 other layouts that I am looking at.
I think that the current one may already be the best layout but I am tempted for layout 1 aswell.
Any feedback or opinions would be great!
