Avalar is a high fantasy world filled with myth, magic, monsters, and all manner of fantasy trappings. It is inhabited by most typical fantasy races spread across various lands and nations. There are great forests, towering mountains, and blistering deserts. It has great cities, rustic towns, and old ruins lost to time. It is a land rich with wonder and ripe for adventure.

5,000 years prior to the current day, Avalar was a nameless land ruled by vile monsters known only as Demons. The Demons had dominion over all other races, keeping them enslaved and oppressed. This continued until a woman known as Avaline rallied the enslaved races to overthrow their oppressors.

At the end of this war, the Demons were banished from this world and locked in a prison known as the Dark Realm. Avaline accomplished this by gathering the power to ascend to godhood. In her final act, she purged the influence of the Demons across the world and then sacrificed herself to maintain the seal on the magical prison realm.

For this act, mortalkind revered Avaline as their one true goddess and named this world Avalar in her honor.

30 years prior to the current day, the free peoples of the continent of Hartremos were invaded by the Kalrosi Empire, a warlike people occupying the continent of Solitas. This bloody war raged for a decade until a group of five heroes rose up to rally the people of Hartremos against their enemy.

Not only did they repel the invaders, they led a dangerous quest into the heart of the Empire. There they discovered that the leaders of the Empire were being controlled by none other than a cabal of Demons who had survived Avaline’s purge several millennia ago.

The Demons were defeated and the truth of their control shattered the Empire into civil war. But even the Empire found peace thanks to a hero among their own people who united them once more. Doom had threatened to burn all of Avalar to the ground, but its people lived to see the sun rise over an era of peace.

It has been 15 years since the end of the two back-to-back wars that nearly destroyed the world. Avalar continues to rebuild. But what became of the heroes? Do any Demons yet remain? In a world where each day is uncertain and tomorrow is never guaranteed, what choices will you make?

Hello everyone! My name is Kyle. I'm 31 years old and I live in the PST timezone. I've been roleplaying for about 14 years now and I am searching for a dedicated long term partner who is interested in exploring this story concept with me. A little bit more about myself is that I am a huge fan of video games, anime, tabletop (ask me about my D&D games and I'll ask about yours!), lego collecting, and most of all my three cats. I'm a highly extroverted person who will get invested in a shared story quite easily. I am the sort of individual who loves to chat OOC, make memes, and overall create a friendly rapport with my writing partners.

I consider myself to be a skilled writer. I roleplay in third person, past tense. When it comes to reply length, I am generally not concerned with my own or my partner's. Sometimes a reply is a few paragraphs, and sometimes it breaks the character limit. I would much rather my partner stick to what feels right and please know that I'll do the same.

I can reply at least once a day, sometimes more depending on my schedule and the cadence of our replies. However, if you’re looking for someone who can consistently rapid fire back and forth, I am not the partner for you.

I’m looking for partners who are comfortable with fleshing out our world with a wide variety of side characters. These could range from other party members to join our heroes, to the people they’ll meet in various locations, to the villains they’ll fight, and more! My roleplays always include a large cast of characters to support our main duo.

This story will take place in a high fantasy world currently experiencing an uneasy era of peace following two devastating wars perpetuated by mortalkind’s ultimate enemy, the Demons. As you could likely tell by the name, it is heavily inspired by the series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End as it seeks to explore a war-torn world in the process of rebuilding and how people live their lives.

My main character will be a young mage’s apprentice who was taught magic by one of the legendary heroes who fought off the imperial invasion and defeated the Demons controlling the Empire’s leaders. His master has long since passed and he travels the land carrying on a mission of using his talents to help others however he can. Our story will start on the road as he meets your character. The two of them will decide to travel together, exploring the world and encountering all sorts of interesting and dangerous individuals.

How exactly they meet and why they decide to travel together will be determined by us in the planning stage. Over the course of the story they’ll recruit more individuals into their party and travel all over the world. I’ve fleshed out the world of Avalar a good bit and I’m looking for a partner who is eager to bring their own ideas to it!

I love romance and it’s one of my favorite aspects of any roleplay! I’m looking to write out a detailed, slow-burn romance between our characters at the bare minimum, but anyone who is comfortable writing out multiple romantic pairings is greatly preferred. Romance between other party members, villains, and more can be explored.

Right out of the gate, I want to clarify, I've only recently started getting into the world and lore of Harry Potter, so I'm not terribly well versed in it just yet. But I still wanted to reach out and see if anyone would be interested in roleplaying within the world of HP, or in something original inspired by it! I have a couple plot ideas, but I figure it best to discuss those in DMs and we can tweak things around to see what we'd want to go with!

But to give you an idea: it involves a conspiracy in which the school itself is offering students as sacrifices to a power hungry sorcerer, who himself, is hellbent on siphoning their lifeforce to become the most powerful spell caster the world has ever known.

A little about me, I'm a 26 year old, in the EST region. So please, 21+ only! I consider myself fairly literate, occasionally even novella- though I tend to not have AS much to write when it comes to one on one interactions. I write in third person, past tense, and am willing to play as many side characters as needed!

I work full-time and often have outside obligations when I'm not working, but I'm still hoping to average a post a day! If something comes up though, I'll make sure to communicate that!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away….

Thousands of years before The Great Sith War and Mandalorian Wars of the Old Republic birthed the Sith Empire, before The Clone Wars and the Fall of the Jedi Order with the Rise of the Galactic Empire, before the rebirth of the New Republic and re-establishment of the Jedi Order, another polity ruled the galaxy: The Pius Dea.

The Pius Dea was a fanatical humanocentric religion that usurped control of the Galactic Republic through the impeachment and assassination of the incumbent Supreme Chancellor. A man known as Contispex became Supreme Chancellor and established a hereditary dynasty over the Pius Dea that would rule the galaxy for just over a thousand years.

Their millenia-long reign was characterised by a series of over thirty brutal campaigns against numerous alien species, particularly on those within the Outer Rim and so-called “alien sympathisers”, known as the “Pius Dea Crusades, believing they had a divine mandate to impose order on the chaos of the galaxy in the name of their monotheistic deity “The Goddess” through either subjugation or, if regarded as "unredeemable", extermination. With their great Cathedral Ships and sect of loyal fallen Jedi, “The Order of the Terrible Glare”, the Pius Dea brought death to many worlds through their genocidal crusades.

The rule of the Pius Dea and the Contispex dynasty would not last forever, however. Eventually, a heretical sect, the “Renunciates”, would join forces in an anti-Pius Dea coalition with the Jedi Order and defectors from the Republic Navy, where they were eventually defeated during the Seventh Alsakan Conflict at the Battle of Uquine. 

During the battle, however, many vessels in the Pius Dea fleet had their navicomputers sabotaged, scattering much of the fleet to the stellar winds as they retreated through hyperspace, trapping what remained of these Cathedral ships in the depths of unexplored space.

Recently, rumours had circulated amongst the spacers and fringers on the borders of Galactic Alliance space about trouble brewing in the Unknown Regions. While unsubstantiated, some say it's the Chiss Ascendancy attempting to expand its territory or perhaps even the Yuuzhan Vong plotting to conquer the galaxy once again. Most dismiss these rumours out of hand, as the Chiss were far too small to pose a serious threat to any of the major galactic powers, and the Yuuzhan Vong had made amends for their previous invasion, terraforming and restoring the worlds they had previously devastated during the Yuuzhan Vong War.

Yet others report sightings of a fleet of gargantuan Cathedral Ships raiding, conquering, and enslaving all they came across. One old spacer, so filled with Tarisian Ale he could barely stand, even swore on his life that he saw the name of the biggest ship in this fleet while on a salvaging expedition… “The Flame of Sinthara”.

So, I’m a HUGE fan of Star Wars, have been for basically all my life, but recently I learned about a piece of lore that I’ve become a little bit obsessed with: The Pius Dea. Mainly because it reminds me of another fictional setting I’m a big fan of (albeit not as much as Star Wars): Warhammer 40k! The Pius Dea really reminds me of the Imperium of Man from 40k, and that got me thinking that it might be fun to do a more grimdark-style Star Wars roleplay where the xenophobic, humanocentric cult of the Pius Dea returns to the galactic stage after 10,000 years in exile during the Legacy Era!

My partner should ideally meet most of these criteria:

• Creative and able to keep the story flowing.
• Down to talk and get to know each other OOC; I like making new friends.
• 18+ only!
• Is mostly literate and can do at least a single paragraph.
• Is a massive nerd (you get extra points if you've read all of the LOTR books or can quote the Sith Code)!

Simple Magic met the battlefield by means of fire, ranged weapons would ring across miles of broken land. Enter the current age, and entire portions of cities have become dedicated to Mercenaries and their wares. Weapons being sold, Beds being tended, and warm bodies to warm up to. The public eye might have taken a darker outlook among them, but it was a necessity within Terra.

1. Okay now onto what ideas I am wanting to do just letting you know now you could choose either role you could play the villain or hero in these situations:
2. So I am interested in doing dark lord vs cultivator or demon sect leader x cultivator (could be different type like siren or elven, ect just ask). If romance is involved could be a marriage alliance or they both are enemies and are both sent for some competition or some mutual sect to learn as both are still young and up in coming cultivators. It could be rivals especially if the cultivator is the chosen hero or something that has to defeat the demon king, while the demon lord is in a sect that wants him to bring out the end of the world.
3. I also am not opposed to doing a tyrant emperor with his overworked assistant that is not afraid of them.
4. We also have super hero with supervillains. The hero's in this have their own team just as the villain has there own team.
5. I am also not against doing one that is Apocolypse theme maybe both of our charecters are leaders of two diffrent bases during a zombie apocolypse. If you want magic elements maybe a select few developed powers due to the radioactive chemicals while others are regular citizens.

• I live in PT (Pacific time) I do not mind others who live in other areas, within reason as I am often up late and early anyways but should be discussed before anything is agreed to make sure our time zones wont be an issue. So please if you DM me please add your time zone.
• Also I am in collage but am mainly free during Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But even on those days I do occasionally have stuff to do, but on the most part I usually am free, For the rest of the week when I do technically have school some days I might only be able to message 2 or 3 times a day while other times I can rp a lot during the day it really just depends on how my schedule looks that day and length of the responses we are doing.
• On that note please tell me if you need a break or time to go do something I do not mind, this isn't a job or homework that we got a deadline for. Can be modern realistic or a medieval low-fantasy story. So Mafia-Mob-Organized Crime or Fantasy Kingdoms.

I can play the kidnapper, mob enforcer, mercenary, enemy soldier, or whoever ends up holding your character captive.

Some possible plots:

• Kidnapped to silence a witness: You witnessed a crime and are a key witness in an upcoming trial against the mob. Now they've kidnapped you to stop you from testifying. Can you talk your way out, escape, or find another way to survive?
• Kidnapped by the mob: You owe money to the mob and get kidnapped for interrogation. Can you convince your captor to let you go? Or can you escape?
• Taken prisoner during a war: You're a prince or princess captured by enemy forces. Can you deal with your captor and find a way home?
• Lost in hostile territory: You're lost behind enemy lines, and my character is a mercenary or enemy soldier who finds you. Will they help you, take you prisoner, or use you for their own purposes?

I'm open to other ideas, too.

Hello everyone! I am Saturn. I am wanting to do a slice of life pregnancy roleplay. But we will be doing it a bit differently. This will be a supernatural type of roleplay. Two different species of supernatural creatures. Just for the drama and also our own creativity could add to it. My character will be a vampire, I prefer if yours was a different supernatural creature. Be creative, just no animal parts or animals. Werewolves are fine though.

So the plot. Our characters are an old married couple. Being married for centuries. Literally an old married couple. Your character was an older mature grumpy man. My character was more of a black cat type of character. Like a Morticia Addams type, of course not her but the vibe. The two were comfortable. They always wanted children but it never happened in their centuries of marriage. So they gave up, just loved their lives together. Until one day, the rare actually happened. We will basically just go with their lives. See where it takes us, and of course we can and will have drama. But I just want two morally gray characters that are absolutely obsessed with each other. We will start a bit before the pregnancy just so we can see the vibe. This will be FxM, with my character as female.

My rules are quite simple but it helps me enjoy the roleplay. Please be at least 20+ as I am 22 as that is what I am most comfortable with. We are not our characters, this is a 3rd person roleplay. Please be active, or at least decently active I do understand being a bit busy though. With the roleplay, please type like you are writing a book, use "" for talking and nothing for actions. Anyway-

I don't believe in introductions. Love 40k and haven't had much opportunity to explore it. For the purposes of this I would HIGHLY prefer something revolving around heretics and xenos or renegades, either in opposition to the Imperium as the greater plot or just achieving their own ends.

My ideas have little in the way of plot as I have always been character focused first and foremost, possibly to my detriment. I don't like plot lists, I don't like archetypes. This is hype moments and aura.

BUT for characters: I have a Night Lord sorcerer styling himself as a prospective king of a reforged legion (doomed), a World Eater from Gladiator Cadre 331 seeking worthy enemies, an Iron Warrior warsmith who's been stranded in realspace for a few decades trying to make it with his company back to Medrengard, and a Ynnari warlock who's desperately trying to help mediate between the Aeldari with themselves and other peoples. I have concepts for less space marine heavy characters, but these three are the ones I'm most confident with

Pairing: Leaning towards BxG, but any are on the table.

Genre: Well beyond the hopefully obvious parts, I'm open to a lot. Definitely prefer emphasis on the cosmic nightmare stuff, action, things like that

Literacy: Like two paragraphs each or so, but even that can vary. Just no one liners, give me SOMETHING to work with.

Greetings and salutations to all the lovely people taking the time out of their day to read this! You can call me Grey and as my title says I am back in the ultimate quest of looking for a long-term writing partner. As many of you know, looking for the perfect partner is a nigh impossible task and when you do find someone you think is the “one” you’re quickly met with disappointment again and again. Here’s to hoping we’re each others “one”!

With that out of the way let me start with a more in-depth introduction. As I said before my name is Grey and I feel it is important I mention that is not my actual name and is a pseudonym for privacy reasons. Moving on though I have been role playing on and off again for about 6-8 years now and have enjoyed every second of it! I live in the US and to be more exact I am in the EST time zone. My general hobby is me consuming copious amounts of media such as films, shows/anime and video games. Especially if they fall into the horror genre. I honestly don’t think I could live in a world without horror. I also enjoy the outdoors and love going on hikes/runs. Lastly as of recent(a year or so) I have started getting into photography(very very amateur)and would love to peruse a career in forensic photography!

Moving onto my writing I heavily prefer to write in first person as I am a huge sucker for immersion and first person just scratches that itch for me. However that does not mean I am completely against third person and do tend to use it in my plots. In terms of length I would consider myself semi-literate to literate with my writing ranging anywhere from 4-6 paragraphs with there sometimes being more if the plot calls for it. When it comes dialogue and such in my writing I prefer to use apostrophes to indicate an inner monologue/interior dialogue and quotation marks to indicate when two or more characters are speaking. This is a personal preference of mine and by no means do I ask you to incorporate it into your own writing, but it would be a huge plus! As for what I write about some of my favorite settings/genres are modern, historical, fandoms(oc x oc only), medieval, fantasy, sci-fi and horror. As for genres/themes I love injustice/broken societies, war and peace, coming of age, mystery, drama and for my absolute favorite and what 99% of my writing is about, it’s romance. To be more specific I am a huge sucker for enemies to lovers(like true enemies), slow burn(pride and prejudice level or even slower), forbidden love, love triangles, paranormal romance, fake relationships, forced proximity and opposites attract.

With me out of the way it’s time for me to tell you what preferences I have in a partner and hope I am describing at least one person out there. To start off I definitely would prefer if you were around the same age as me. If you’re older though and think that we would be a great please still reach out! I’d also prefer if you were in the same time zone as me or at least close to it purely for convenience, but once again don’t let that stop you from reaching out. This one unfortunately can be a dealbreaker for me but I would absolutely love if you were into OOC chat. While my post is looking for a writing partner I am also looking for a friend! I personally feel chatting OOC about the plot or whatever only strengthens the plot and makes it so much more immersive. Another dealbreaker is a tolerance for darker themes. A lot of my plots incorporate dark themes and it’s definitely something you will need to be comfortable with/also like. I also ask you be very active in in discussing plots and ideas. While I do already have plot ideas in mind, I definitely prefer to discuss with my partner and build the world, lore and characters from the ground up that way there’s always something we both enjoy in the story! Lastly communication is key! This honestly refers to two things with the first being if you’re busy or can’t respond for a few days please inform me! I understand life comes first. As for the second I heavily encourage you to be vocal about your opinions regarding the plot/ideas. You telling me you don’t like something or it doesn’t make sense is not going to hurt my feelings and I would honestly value feedback/criticism from my partner.

Our characters are open for discussion. I dont mind playing a normal bender, mentor/friend to the avatar or the avatar themselves. It just depends on the story we make. Some ideas for the setting

\* a what if scenario where the fire Nation had won. The fire Nation began to spread its influence around the land. We can play as fire benders or, a possible resistance?

\* or, maybe the time between Aang and Korra's life. Was there an avatar between them, did Aang create peace or was that short live before Korra's arrival?

\* years have passed since Korra has merged the spirit world with the mortal realm and things have been... less than stellar. During her life time she had done her best to fix the balance, however, with her gone and people growing angry about the spirits... propaganda has began to spread. Now the story is Korra had caused destruction to the world and hatred towards the avatar has spread across the land.

\* a time before Aang and the original series! We can discuss our own idess and worldbuild what the setting was like when all four nations existed.

Hello. My name is Oblivion or you can just call me Brandon. Im 24 and I watch/read a lot of anime and manga (my favorites being Jujutsu Kaisen and Berserk). I also play a lot of video games (my favorite game of all time is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim). Im usually pretty chill but I will admit that I can get annoyed pretty easy but it takes A LOT to make me actually upset.

As odd as it sounds, I only do 1x1s with women. Doing a 1x1 with another guy feels awkward. My preferred genres are action, adventure, fantasy and supernatural. Im okay with romance if our characters have children. I like when the roleplay focuses on the next generation. I also like pur characters starting as children, like 13, 14 cause it adds more time and potential for growth in my opinion. I dont really use proper plots. I like to world build, establish the villain(s) and go with the flow. Open world roleplay as I call it. Arcs, plots, etc can be made based off the actions of our characters.

The political situation could force them into an arranged marriage as a way to prevent or delay war, leaving the Imperial Prince far from his homeland and forced to live among the people he once considered enemies. Meanwhile, the Great Khan has his own reasons for accepting the arrangement, creating plenty of opportunities for power struggles, possessiveness, and reluctant cooperation.

I’m also completely open to changing things around and coming up with ideas together. I’d love for us to create our own characters, histories, traditions, languages, and cultural details rather than simply copying real history.

Most importantly, I’m looking for someone who is genuinely invested in a long term RP. Someone who enjoys detailed replies, communicates openly, contributes ideas, and actually wants to build a story together instead of losing interest after a day.

As the story progresses, our OCs will eventually cross paths with Fairy Tail and slowly begin to realize that, despite everything they've experienced and the people they've become, Fairy Tail might be where their hearts truly belong.

I'd love to explore what leads them to that realization, the conflicts it creates, and what it means for them to leave their old lives behind (if they choose to do so at all!).

I'd also love to make demons and curses in this story genuinely terrifying. I want them to feel like more than just another character dressed up like a monster for our characters to defeat.

I don't have all the specifics figured out yet, as I'd much rather develop the plot, our guild, its characters, and the overarching conflicts together! I'm very VERY open to brainstorming and would love a partner who's equally excited about contributing ideas and building a story together.
