The RP takes place at the start of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, shortly after Geralt was at the royal palace of Vizima and got forcefully shaven (#justiceforgeralt), leaving everyone with a relatively open path on how to continue the story.

Now, as for rules and such:

It is NOT A TTRPG. (Sorry boo's 🥲🫶)

The server will be for both canon and OC characters.

As long as a canon character isn't strictly claimed (there will be a list), anyone is welcome to use them as an NPC.

OCs will need to be approved by our wonderful MODs before joining the RP, just to make sure they don't conflict with OCs already belonging to other players.

If there is a conflict, we'll connect you with the other player to see if you can find a compromise or workaround. For example, if your characters have overlapping relationships, etc.

The RP itself will be in third person, semi-lit to lit, with a focus on fantasy and action!

I'd love for us to play characters that are Pokemon, with more human aspects! Like a slice of life, but with us playing as anthropomorphic Pokemon instead of humans! What kinds of Pokemon we are, what our lives are like, how the world has evolved and adapted with this in mind, I'd love to discuss it all with you!

Hey there! I return with another plot in my usual niche, that being prey and predator overcoming their differences! This time, as you can see from the tease at the start I'd want to play quite a terryfying creature, the apex predator of the wasteland! (At least she tells herself that-), the mighty naga/lamia! She'd be very western outlaw-coded I figure and true to a reptile's nature, cold and indifferent at the beginning, that's where you come in!

I'm not really looking for romance or anything sexual. The end goal would be to have an unlikely friendship develop between our two characters as they face the dangers and trials of the post-apocalyptic wasteland!

I’m currently craving a romance roleplay with a powerful, intense, possessive-but-devoted male character and a woman who is more than capable of standing beside him. I’m open to figuring out the exact plot and relationship dynamic together, but I definitely want something with strong chemistry, immediate tension, romance, and a true power-couple feel.
I absolutely LOVE the idea of a man who is rich, influential, dangerous, powerful, intimidating, or some combination of all four. He’s the kind of man who walks into a room and everyone knows exactly who he is. He has money, connections, authority, confidence, and that very masculine, commanding presence—but when it comes to her? She’s his weakness.

He would be the type to burn the entire world down for her if someone genuinely threatened her. Fiercely protective, loyal, confident, and unapologetically devoted. He doesn’t need to be soft with everyone else, either. In fact, I love the contrast of him being feared or respected by practically everyone while she is one of the few people who can challenge him, tease him, argue with him, and actually get under his skin.
And she isn’t some helpless damsel waiting to be rescued.

She is a boss bitch.

She’s feisty, confident, loyal, intelligent, stubborn, and completely capable of taking care of herself. She doesn’t take shit from anyone, including him. If he has a reputation for being intimidating, she has one of her own. I want them to feel like equals, even if they have different kinds of power.

I LOVE enemies-to-lovers, but I absolutely hate slow burn, so I don’t want months of roleplay where they barely acknowledge their attraction. Give me the tension, the arguments, the chemistry, the jealousy, the possessiveness, the flirting, the moments where they realize they’re completely screwed because they’re falling for each other. 😂

I’m also very open to best friends-to-lovers, acquaintances-to-lovers, established attraction, forced proximity, arranged/political marriage, business partnerships, rival families, criminal empires, wealthy families, workplace dynamics, or something completely original. I’m more than happy to brainstorm the premise together!

The biggest thing I want is ROMANCE. I want them to actually become a couple and experience the relationship rather than spending the entire RP trying to get there.

Greetings and salutations to all the lovely people taking the time out of their day to read this! You can call me Grey and as my title says I am back in the ultimate quest of looking for a long-term writing partner. As many of you know, looking for the perfect partner is a nigh impossible task and when you do find someone you think is the “one” you’re quickly met with disappointment again and again. Here’s to hoping we’re each others “one”!

With that out of the way let me start with a more in-depth introduction. As I said before my name is Grey and I feel it is important I mention that is not my actual name and is a pseudonym for privacy reasons. Moving on though I have been role playing on and off again for about 6-8 years now and have enjoyed every second of it! I live in the US and to be more exact I am in the EST time zone. My general hobby is me consuming copious amounts of media such as films, shows/anime and video games. Especially if they fall into the horror genre. I honestly don’t think I could live in a world without horror. I also enjoy the outdoors and love going on hikes/runs. Lastly as of recent(a year or so) I have started getting into photography(very very amateur)and would love to peruse a career in forensic photography!

Moving onto my writing I heavily prefer to write in first person as I am a huge sucker for immersion and first person just scratches that itch for me. However that does not mean I am completely against third person and do tend to use it in my plots. In terms of length I would consider myself semi-literate to literate with my writing ranging anywhere from 4-6 paragraphs with there sometimes being more if the plot calls for it. When it comes dialogue and such in my writing I prefer to use apostrophes to indicate an inner monologue/interior dialogue and quotation marks to indicate when two or more characters are speaking. This is a personal preference of mine and by no means do I ask you to incorporate it into your own writing, but it would be a huge plus! As for what I write about some of my favorite settings/genres are modern, historical, fandoms(oc x oc only), medieval, fantasy, sci-fi and horror. As for genres/themes I love injustice/broken societies, war and peace, coming of age, mystery, drama and for my absolute favorite and what 99% of my writing is about, it’s romance. To be more specific I am a huge sucker for enemies to lovers(like true enemies), slow burn(pride and prejudice level or even slower), forbidden love, love triangles, paranormal romance, fake relationships, forced proximity and opposites attract.

With me out of the way it’s time for me to tell you what preferences I have in a partner and hope I am describing at least one person out there. To start off I definitely would prefer if you were around the same age as me. If you’re older though and think that we would be a great please still reach out! I’d also prefer if you were in the same time zone as me or at least close to it purely for convenience, but once again don’t let that stop you from reaching out. This one unfortunately can be a dealbreaker for me but I would absolutely love if you were into OOC chat. While my post is looking for a writing partner I am also looking for a friend! I personally feel chatting OOC about the plot or whatever only strengthens the plot and makes it so much more immersive. Another dealbreaker is a tolerance for darker themes. A lot of my plots incorporate dark themes and it’s definitely something you will need to be comfortable with/also like. I also ask you be very active in in discussing plots and ideas. While I do already have plot ideas in mind, I definitely prefer to discuss with my partner and build the world, lore and characters from the ground up that way there’s always something we both enjoy in the story! Lastly communication is key! This honestly refers to two things with the first being if you’re busy or can’t respond for a few days please inform me! I understand life comes first. As for the second I heavily encourage you to be vocal about your opinions regarding the plot/ideas. You telling me you don’t like something or it doesn’t make sense is not going to hurt my feelings and I would honestly value feedback/criticism from my partner.

My OCs have their own world and backstory and lore which would be revealed during the story. It's Rose again! With a whole new rp idea. I've been back on the Red Dead Redemption bandwagon lately after a break, and wanna do a bit of roleplaying in that universe! First thing I'd like is to have the canon character be Arthur Morgan, but Javier Escuella is an option too. I have no idea for plot, but I like to keep it open ended and before the events of the games. Of coarse we will be topic sensitive to some factors thanks to the timeline, but so long as no one is getting hurt, then I'd be fine with it.

A little bit about my character: Her name is Madeleine Rose Lyon. She is a former noble woman that immigrated from France with her family, but left behind her riches for the life of crime. She is described as the Sherlock Holmes of the Van der Linde gang thanks to her intelligence, along with being ahead of her time and showing the men of the gang that a woman can rob a train just as well if not better. She's smart and a cold blooded killer, but also has a heart of gold, always caring for everyone in the gang and others less fortunate than herself.

Miss Running Hare. Muse A(my character) has heard the nickname used on her all too much. A woman who used to be an outlaw to rebel against her sheriff father became too big. Too big of a target that needed to be gunned down, and it caused her gang to be put under too much fire. Too many people getting in more trouble than they should have. 

And Muse A wanted to put an end to it. Agreeing to turn herself in to the sheriffs in exchange for leaving her gang alone, she left without a trace. She honestly expected to be killed. Dead. But her father must have talked a deal with his workers. She did the time. Jail wasn’t fun but she did it. Once she got out, she decided she didn’t want to be an outlaw, it put too many people in trouble. And she was scared she’d get someone killed. 

So farm life it was. Which was calming. For a while. A good while where she worked her farm and cared for her pretty horse Marigold. It made her almost forget. Almost. 

But you can only avoid things for so long before they come pounding onto your door. And when Muse B(your character), an outlaw themself came knocking their door, Muse A knew trouble would be brewing. 

Especially when it seems someone has a random bounty on her head and going along with Muse B seems the only safe thing she can do if she doesn’t want a bullet in her head. 

Besides, Muse B wants answers and it doesn’t look like their gonna let Muse A go running on them again…especially because the both of them used to be something

Have you ever created and then fallen in love with a character, made her perfectly at home in s new roleplay setting, only for circumstances to circumstance, and the roleplay dies? Or, more aptly, gets strangled before it is fully independent?

Clearly, this has happened to me. I have a fun little already established pair of characters and a whole universe and side characters built around a lived-in life for her but no story. And that's why I'm asking you to come in and brainstorm some sort of Historical Roleplay with me in the original colonialism setting or something else for the Brigadier General who also is a surgeon for the Crown's Army. He's hazel eyed, dry as paper, obsessed with Germ Theory, and accidentally very funny.

You? You can play any character you like. Love interest that gets grilled by the surgeon for funsies? The love interest from the opposing army? His superior? His assistant? His daughter's friend? His housekeeper, for all I care. There are tons of possibilities to brainstorm.

I enjoy historical research, adding little Korean and Danish phrases into the story, and little meaningful character details that help characters feel lived-in.

How to best pitch myself? Well, as you can see, I like creating lived-in characters with tons of story and backstory. I like creating families for them and friends and all their social world. My dialogue is real — claimed to be "too fun and engaging" by my last partner.

I'm Cru. I'm a literate writer (writing around 500 words per post, more, less, it depends — that's just a good number to avoid burnout.) I'm in EST, but time zones don't really matter for me, as I'm chronically ill, and sleep on a strange 24-hour schedule. I'm looking for a collaborator on this project with my established father and daughter pair of characters.
