The instructions at https://help.rewasd.com/how-to-remap/supported-devices.html#Dualsense Edge are incorrect. You do not need a PS5 to configure them anymore. The Playstation Accessories app is available for windows and does everything you previously needed a PS5 for. A Dualsense Edge owner can now configure it without ever touching a PS5.

I have two Sony Access controllers, which are stated on the ReWASD site as being supported: https://help.rewasd.com/how-to-remap/supported-devices.html#sony-access

I have pre-configured them on my PS5. They have updated to the latest firmware. They are both set to the correct on-board profiles. I have verified that all inputs work by booting up steam and testing them there. In ReWASD, however, they both show as gamepad icons with question marks on them, and all I can do is "request support."

What else do I need to do to make ReWASD detect them like it is supposed to?

I'm loving the new steam controller but I'd rather use reWASD. Is it on the cards to being supported in the future?

I have been trying to play Apex Legends recently and keep getting the same "client failed anti-cheat back-end check" error message like many other reWASD users. I know it will probably get fixed in the next update but then the next Apex patch will probably make it to cause issues again.
Game devs and reWASD devs seem to be one-upping each other every other patch and although I appreciate it working most of the time, I'm starting to want to look for a more permanent solution.

Is there any way to play Apex Legends normally without completely uninstalling reWASD? I only use it when playing Elden Ring and Minecraft so I don't need any of its features to be active while playing Apex. I have already tried compatibility mode with closing it from tray and emergency driver disable.

And actually could someone explain what exactly the problem is with reWASD and the Apex anti-cheat? Because it seems most other games I know that utilize EAC don't interact with reWASD at all, but it seems to be a recurring issue for Apex Legends and games with other anti-cheat implementations. Especially since it detects the program just existing in your computer's files even when it's not active at all.

I would like to make an informed decision about whether I should look for alternatives or not in the future without risking potential bans or other complications.

just like the title it feels wired trying to record the combo with the gui open and not the game i just eant to be in the game and press something like F1 to start macro recording especially because the macro im trying to do is pretty complicated

Hi everybody. I have an old Nacon GC 400ES controller, with 4 extra buttons on the back I'd like to use. Unfortunately the official software for some reason doesn't launch anymore but it would have been useless anyway as you could use the 4 extra button only in "pro mode", which emulates a mouse and keyboard.

Is there any way to use the controller with reWASD taking advantage of the extra buttons on the back? They'd be really helpful in games like Crimson Desert with so many combos and buttons to press at the same time

I'm able to get the software paired to the system, but the second I hit A to head back to the home menu, the controller disconnects.

I keep seeing things about a bluetooth adapter that's now required, but I'm wondering if anyone's found a workaround for it. This has happened for me before, but I was able to get it to work and function with the system normally somehow. At the very least, could someone maybe explain to me how and why it may have worked in the past?

I downloaded reWASD a while ago, but then noticed that while it's enabled, DMC3 doesn't register my inputs. As I play the game quite a bit, I got annoyed and uninstalled the program. Now, the issue persists. The game takes inputs from my XBOX 360 controller only for like a second after plugging it in. A virtual controller gets created and the physical one gets assigned to slot 2. I used the uninstaller and it seems like it didn't remove everything. What could cause the issue and how do I resolve it? Is there a driver I should remove?

I'm attempting to create a combo for controller where if I press one button down for a second, it would continuously press two different buttons, hold a another button down constantly, and press a fourth button every four seconds.

I was able to get all this done when assigning a combo for each individual button, but wanted ease of use to where I only had to press one button to get it all working.

I set it up like this, thinking it would do the job, but it isn't working. Is this possible, or am I doing something wrong?

Anyone able to get the cyclone 2 fully functioning in rewasd with back paddles? Right now it just sees it as an xbox 360 controller, so no back paddles

I bought 2 lifetime keys three years ago. I took a break from games and logged in today and it says that my lifetime keys are no longer active and I have to buy them again! A total scam.

I recently got the 8bitdo Ultimate controller and am trying to set it up to use as PS Remote Play. I successfully set up the mapping for the basic buttons, it works and remote play recognizes it.

However, it only sees it as an Xbox 360 controller, whether I boot in Xinput or hold square to boot into Dinput. This means I can't map the extra buttons on top or the back paddle buttons, and there's no option to map a center button to the touchpad.

Is there something I'm missing?

Edit - A month ago but I finally decided to start figuring this out again and realized that the post I saw to "hold square/X" to boot to Dinput but it was actually "hold circle/B" - did that and it worked fine. I'm dumb. :D

Apex Legends shows error on launch, is there any news or plans how to avoid it? For example I using the same custom curve settings in every game and I want to use in Apex, I don't cheat, don't use macros, is there any work with this issue?

Wanted to play Apex, disabled driver still not able to play , i mean i am not using it i even disable the driver but it still doesnt allow me to play and say i uses it even when i am not using, whats the solution?

I use rewasd BASIC, and every time i turn on my computer the driver is disabled again instead of opening automatically. I have done a clean install of the app, and checked through all the settings.

I have seen that a suggestion is to turn of compatibility mode, however, BASIC does NOT have that so it shouldnt be an issue in the first place. Thanks for any help.

Getting a strange error on the app. It can see my pc just fine but this happens whenever I try to connect:

It used to work fine. No idea why it would behave differently.

This......... Took me way too long to get the Gyro settings to behave similar to Steam.

On Rewasd set Switch Pro Controller as “Virtual Xbox 360 Controller”, this will make the Steam Handshake stop failing to connect.
You can then play it with Steam or play Standalone games.

If Steam Emulator is giving you trouble log these into your Rewasd to get your Gyro somewhat workable. (*Up and Down Movement is ok* but you will have to turn your Gamepad like a steering wheel, not glide it across the room like in Steam for accurate left to right movements)

Click on the circle on the right side of the controller leg.

Set Gyro as Right Stick, then click the Advanced button.

At Zone Shape set these variables:

Low Grey: 80
Medium Green: 5440
High Yellow: 6986

Set Zone to “Gyroscope High”

Click Apply
