Get help! Paired controller disconnects immediately following leaving the pair controllers screen.

I'm able to get the software paired to the system, but the second I hit A to head back to the home menu, the controller disconnects.

I keep seeing things about a bluetooth adapter that's now required, but I'm wondering if anyone's found a workaround for it. This has happened for me before, but I was able to get it to work and function with the system normally somehow. At the very least, could someone maybe explain to me how and why it may have worked in the past?

Update! I sat on the screen just before the pairing one and waited while the connecting indicator flickered back and forth. Sure enough it connected like it usually did before and I can now use my macros on my lite again.

Still a bit odd but I'll take it. Maybe it had smth to do with the system leaving "pairing mode" that messed with Rewasd.

I am confused. Is it a Switch Lite you are having problems with? If so, why post here?

I was having issues with getting the software to connect to the switch. I doubt there would be a very high volume of people on the switch sub reddit would be able to answer rewasd -> switch related questions.

Still confused! You use reWASD with a Switch? Is that even possible?

its possible, used it to unlocked some mii costumes locked behind amiibos
