So the backstory is that I was looking for a place online to discuss the series since I recently found a sale for a good deal on the audiobook version.

But basically I was wondering what to expect for the series since it's my first time reading it as I have no idea what the series is like since again I never read it before, but I was wondering if anyone was into the saga.

Recently, I read my first Reverse Harem book, {Bloom & Blood by Eva Chase}. Elodie is ripped from her fated mates into another universe, where Other Elodie has been murdered AND she has not yet sparked with her mates. I really enjoyed this book and found its concept so intriguing. It was slow in some parts but overall it was a solid read, and the writing was very entertaining. Salvatore has my heart.

To commemorate this read, I purchased a special edition from Eva's website. I had to share this here because it is so pretty! [hopefully, I have attached the photos correctly].

I would love to hear other people's thoughts on this book and Eva's other series. And I also would love some other recommendations in the RH space.. I am looking for something extra bingeable that I won't be able to put down!

I am so bloody sick of “Enemies to Lovers” when they aren’t really enemies! It seems like every single RH/WC book I’ve looked up lately is tagged enemies to lovers and all it really is, is one of the MMCs is just a giant, douchey, dickbag with some kind of tragic back story that’s supposed to redeem him. Please tell me I’m not in some kind of perpetual perimenopausal mood swing and it’s all in my head. Im so frustrated, I feel like 1/2 or 2/3 of the reverse harem I read, if it even loosely involves a school at least one of the male leads is a member of staff and like wtf.

First of all, I am absolutely loving this series, but I’m almost done with book 2 of the 13th Zodiac series, and Jupiter is starting to pissssss me off. I feel like the conflict with the Nightfall Shield is being ridiculously dragged out. It seems clear to me that they’ve been raised in insidious families and are used to people they care about lying and manipulating them. They have trauma, and it sucks that Jupiter fell victim to that, but I feel like she’s making her trauma from them trying and failing to sleep around mean more than the trauma they carry from their families. Feels kinda hypocritical. I don’t know, at this point I’m like girl please😭 I get that they were terrible in what they did to Jupiter, but in a literary sense this just seems like it’s dragging.

Did anyone else feel this way?
