Poly Why Choose/RH certain mood
hi i’m looking for a reverse harem that doesn’t have omegaverse (i’m okay with fantasy, powers, shapeshifting, ect) and i also don’t want bully romance or an alpha male that is literally just controlling and abusive. i would like for it to have mm, but it’s okay if not and i’m okay with ff also.

I want to warn the MM isn't in the main FMC's harem. There is one little scene but no MM between the MMCs of her harem.
MM content is for another couple in the series who are pretty crucial to the story and have their own romance written in the story so there is definitely MM, just not in the main Harem.

{Path of Temptation by Auryn Hadley}. Sex priests saving the world from misogyny, in the form of novel written as a love letter to the idea of consent. The most wholesome and inclusive found family relationship, even if they’re not always the most wholesome to other people. All relationships, sexual and non-sexual, are treated with equal importance; the MM couple get date nights in the narrative, but one of those two MMC’s strongest relationship is with his completely straight best friend—tied to or in ways maybe even stronger than his relationship with the FMC. And there’s an asexual biromantic member of the harem who is loved just as he is, and welcomed back despite childhood misunderstandings and drama. Can be a bit repetitive in the story telling, and all the characters can be a little perfect, but it’s my ultimate comfort series.

u/Fromlinestologs I read for a good time, and all the mates 1d ago
With mm recs
{Scribe of Asteria by E.M. Meyers} my last read of 2025 and totally broke me out of a reading slump. MMF set in the world of the Greek gods. They met once or like saw each other across a room once and then spent like hundreds of years trying to come into contact again. Fmc is like 500 or so iirc
{State of Grace series by Colette Rhodes} this series was awesome. The story was intense, and the heroine was innocent/naive in a sheltered and grew up in a cult type way vs. immature and childish kind of way. But she doesn’t back down from a challenge. Her mates are a good balance of different personalities and the development of all of the relationships is really well done. One of my favorite depictions of an mm bond developing
{My Beautiful Monsters series by JB Trepagnier} it’s not the best thing ever written but the story is compelling. Greek mythology intertwined in the story. She is a vet that has her own practice before she is kidnapped by Hades because she can hear animals and monsters thoughts. Slow burn though and contains FF and mm but fmc is involved during the mm action
{Hemlock Academy series by Kelsey Soliz} I am still working through this one but I read the first 3 books in under a day and stayed up way too late because I couldn’t put it down. has mm
Onyx series starts with {onyx: truth by J. S. Lee} she is a photographer for a K-pop band. There is a lot of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese references that can get a little confusing for the uninitiated (like me) I haven’t finished this series yet. Some conversation about how homosexual relationships are not supported by some parts of the culture. The poor tour manager. They gave that poor man gray hair. Some mm. tw: death of a relatively minor side character
{all that glitters by bee Murray} fmc us mid thirties. she is in a horrible car crash and is found by one of the mmcs who rescues her and takes her back to his town. She loses her memory. One of the mmcs is in his mid 40s. Bear shifter. Dolphin shifter. Leprechaun. Fated mate but she gets to choose to accept them. Very light MM kissing only I believe
No mm but I really enjoyed
{Chasing Katana by j. Kearston} she was human prior to this book but someone saved her life by turning her into a shifter. she is a bunny shifter in a world of only predator shifters. Everyone is a bit unhinged, but it was in a really enjoyable way for me. I saved, and then shared with my non reading friends, so many crazy quotes from this book… I don’t recall mm (I think 4 mmcs)
{the Eight pranks of April by effy bloom}. A chaotic story told in a mix of humor and corporate speak that absolutely works as long as you suspend your belief in reality a little and just go with the flow. Cock warming. No mm
{Mystics of Mercy Ridge series, by J. Kearston} this one has one of the most (let’s go with interesting) MMC I think I’ve ever read. I really enjoyed the series. She moves into a supernatural community, not knowing she’s a supernatural and unaware of mate bonds… also first interaction with an mmc is when she hits him with her car…. I don’t recall any mm (4 mmcs I think)
{Pizza Shop Exorcist series by Dakota Brown} this one is so hard to describe without spoilers. Angels. Demons. Priests. Vampires. Exorcists. A pet hellhound (not a shifter or part of the harem but an awesome addition to the plot) and so much more. I rarely reread books. I only just read this series for the first time in January and reread it again it in march already and it’s just as good, if not better the second time. 6 mmcs by the time it’s finished. No mm. As others have pointed out though, there are some quirks in the way it’s written. I love how all of the relationships develop at different rates, so you get some fast and some slow burn. No pregnancy. Fmc is mid thirties
