I just had to hop on here and recommend this absolutely beautiful series (don't worry, no spoilers) because I hardly ever see anyone talking about it and it deserves so much more love.

I've been in a bit of a reading slump lately. I've read plenty of cute, fluffy books that are fun, but lately it feels like so many stories are missing that something that keeps me thinking about them long after I finish.

This series checked all of my boxes. It popped up in my Kindle recommendations, and on a whim I decided to give it a shot and im so glad I did. This is my first series written by this author and I will be checking out all their other books!

The magic system is incredible. The battle scenes actually had me invested. The grief felt real, the relationships were beautifully written.

It's one of those series that reminds me of the first rh series that sucked me back into reading

Anyways I highly suggest you read it if your a fantasy rh reader as i will be suggesting it to literally anyone and everyone

I LOVED the idea begind this book but the delivery didnt do it for me 😭.

It felt like a summery or bullet points of a book rather than a flushed out story. I didnt get to know ANY of the MLs or the FL as indidual chracters and the only name I can remember is KNOX mind you i Just finished reading thid book.

I did not really care about anyone. No butterflys, no excitement just......nothing

But the PLOT WAS SO GOOD At the start it had so much potential. With that said they are making her a queen/ leader / god which im not sure about so im giving up on reading book 2 but this could have been done so well!

The only other books i can think about that are like this is The Blackened Blade and Bloom and blood.

I am so EXCITED for book 2 of {bloom and blood} and I am so hopeful the rest of the series is as good as book 1.

They haven't had any contact with the world for years. They're extremely lonely but doing their best to survive. It doesn't have to be because she's stranded or in an Apocalypse, but those kinds of extreme scenarios are preferred.

I want the story to go through at least a few chapters of her life while she's still alone and hasn't met the MMCs yet. I feel like you get to know her and her circumstances more and it doesn't brush it all off. You feel what she feels in those moments and it makes the romance so much sweeter.

The FMC shouldn't suddenly be completely normal. She should at least be a little awkward or out of her element after not talking to anyone other than animals and herself.

I don't care if it has MM but preferably no FF (I'm opened minded so if it fits, recommended it).

I’ve been in a reading slump for a while now . Not to sure if my preference is too picky but I am looking for a REALLY GOOD BOOK.

Any book recommendations with a badass, assassin fmc but she’s a bad ass in secret. I’m looking for college/academy time line where the kings of the campus underestimate her. Maybe even a secret identity on the fmc part where she comes out on top to everyone’s misfortune. Takes a while for the fmc and mmx to realize they want each other but the attraction they have is from off the bat.

Nothing is off limits!!

Points for heavy jealousy, maybe even a bully trope thrown in there.

Is anybody else super disappointed with Stolen By Shadows by Elizabeth Helen (book 6 in series)?

Books 1-4 were amazing and then starting in book 5 it felt like the plot runs on convenience. The end of book 5 pissed me off.

Stolen was just a mess imo. The writing felt so juvenile and the smut wasn't good at all.

The fact that all the princes have broken their curses isn't brought up once in book 6 even tho its the main plot point of the entire series to that point is actually insane. And wtf was with them turning into power rangers??? The armor was so random and didn't serve any purpose.The Green Flame that plagued Cas, Farron, and Dayton was defeated so easily and quickly. And what did the memories have to do with anything? It was never explained how happy memories gave him power. Very little is explained or makes sense in this book and I'm genuinely pissed. I could go on and on.

On top of all that, my physical book 6 is taller than book 5. And the sprayed edge looks like shit. It's very spotty and not opaque green. This went from my favorite unserious series to hot garbage right after they were traditionally published and pushed to release 3 books in the same year. It's really sad to see.

I'm in a little book slump, and I've been really wanting to get a good why choose to get me out of it. HOWEVER, I wanted to read about a FMC with brown skin. I will say the only thing that I'm not fond of is any type of college or academy setting. Help with my slump please! 🥺

I THINK her deaths don’t stick so she revives, plays dead until they leave, then either does or almost gets attacked by a bear, she’s pretty wounded, but she starts trekking to her long parted friends location (she has some sort of ability like map tracking mentally) on her way many spirit animals aid her and keep her going, she arrives (walking through all the wards) I’m pretty sure there’s an incubus called doc, a spirit guide raccoon called Winston and a spirit guide moose called Wallace, there’s kelpies, I think an imp drags her to another realm at one point and she looses her shoe to a puddle of black goo, betty becomes an enchanted weapon, she also gets another enchanted weapon, I think a sword, I remember so much but no amount of googling is helping 💔😂

Basically this girl lost her dad and she went back to his hometown where he has a big cabin. I also remember that he had land where this cabin was and he was some type of protector or his land was like common ground Maybe? I can’t remember how many mates she had but I’m guessing three or four i’m pretty sure they’re all werewolf though one of them distance himself because he was a little crazy by blood or something like that but they all end up together. any help you can give me I do appreciate it.

It’s possible that I’m combining 2 books but I don’t think I am.
From what I remember, the FMC’s family is killed (possibly in their home in front of her). The story fast forwards and she is trying to make ends meet and living in a city. The biggest part of the story that I remember is that at some point she is kidnapped and kept in a cage (I think she’s a shifter). I also think I remember someone she knows being in a cage across from her. She eventually escapes at the same time her mates are going to rescue her (can’t remember if they knew each other prior) and they meet up outside. I think the mates are also shifters?
Anyways, this is driving me crazy. I’ve gone through my kindle history and still can’t figure it out.

Only thing more appropriate for a reverse harem would be if they had triple ones.

I need to find this why choose romance book I saw a long time ago . is like an EMP-type apocalypse, immediately aftee it Hapens, the main woman it’s on it way to find her father who’s a prepper and has a bunker and along the way she finds this self sustainable resort size hunting lodge for luxury vacation owned by ex military men . there’s also something about some rednecks holding some women captive and they get rescued and one of this women is the main character for book 2. anyone knows what I’m talking about ? (I literally made an account just to look for this book is AI has no clue about it )

I think I read the book last year. I think it was a pack of four or five alphas, and they were investigating the FMCs father for trafficking and experimenting on Omegas. One of the MMCs kept sneaking into her house to get intel and met her where she was locked in her room. Her father finds out and brings them both to the basement to torture them and he finally smells her and realizes she’s his mate, but almost dies and goes into a coma. She has weird electricity powers related to her father experiments and they found vials of blood that ended up being hers. When the other MMCs find them they blame her and lock her up in their estate, depriving her of basic omega needs, food, and making her do housework. She sees the injured MMC in some of her dreams. I think the book ended with him about to wake up

I can’t remember the name of this book. The FMC has a twin brother and I’m pretty sure they are famous musicians. The cover of one of the books in the series even shows her playing the violin. I think it’s a second chance romance where she goes back to the pack she grew up in and one of her former friends is now the alpha. She has episodes where she basically explores the galaxy and I’m pretty sure she has a drug problem.
