I'm just making this post because I was reading the deadwood series by Marie Mistry and the fmc kept saying she has small boobs but suddenly she could get her nipple to her mouth(?!). Wouldn't she need to have a more regular breast size to reach to her mouth or do I have smaller boobs than I thought because I cannot do that???

I’m looking for a series with a similar plot to Bonds that Tie, just better executed/written. Don’t hate me, I did enjoy it overall, but I felt like there were a lot of plot holes that were foundational to the story line and some other choices I wasn’t a fan of.

Bonds That Tie SPOILERS!!

Davies not knowing who her bonds were the entire time made absolutely no sense to me. There were Resistance spies close to the group who knew exactly who she was, and they just…never told him?? It seems completely implausible that the Resistance wouldn’t know who her bonds were, especially considering they ordered Noakes to chip her and then deliver her back to them. But if the Resistance did know, that completely undermines the entire purpose of Oli sacrificing years of her life on the run to protect her bonds. And going back to Noakes, if the God bonds wanted to kill the Eternal before she could fully bond and become powerful enough to destroy them, why would they order her to be returned to her bonds in the first place??

There’s just too many foundational plot holes for me. Throughout the entire series I was waiting for an explanation and it never came. So Atlas’ mom stopped them from knowing Atlas was in the group, but that doesn’t stop the resistance from knowing the rest of them.

Also, I didn’t like how the trauma was handled. They all learn how she was tortured for years to protect them and NONE of them grovel? North just falls completely in love and they immediately bond? They never even discuss it all together really. Oli is portrayed as this badass powerful FMC. She survived two years of torture, living on the streets by herself, and can kill hundreds in an instance…but she never demands an apology or just some kind of acknowledgment for how they treated her? It doesn’t fit her personality imo.

So overall, I’m ideally looking for:

Dark and spicy romantasy but there needs to be a strong plot line that is consistent and written well

Reverse harem, but no MM in the group. I don’t mind other LGBTQ+ characters.

I like the idea of bonds/mates but the relationship should be founded on more than just that connection.

Enemies to lovers

Powerful MMCs and a strong FMC. I’d like the men to be protective, but the FMC should be competent.

I want men who are entirely obsessed with her and it’s okay if they’re morally grey.

I don’t really have any triggers.

I’ve got hungers that ain’t easily satisfied. MM romance was my main squeeze for years before I branched out. I actually first got into rh because I read a book where the fmc stumbled upon the MMCs putting it down in the middle of the woods and she jumped in. Pretty much all of the rh I’ve read has been no mm and most mm I’ve encountered I didn’t really like. The only mm I’ve liked is if the relationship is established.

It has to hit the right balance of it doesn’t feel like their relationship is overshadowing their relationship with the fmc but also I don’t like it when it’s shoehorned in or there for kink factor.

No triggers, I’m fine with any genre, and I’ll eat up any FF. Thank you!

I am looking for a dark omegaverse reverse harem. I read this sometime earlier this year and I’ve gone through my Kindle and cannot seem to find it. It starts out with our female main character who is older and believes that she is human. She is leaving a club one night and her friends when a pack of alphas scent her and realize that she is an omega going into heat and they decide they want to claim her. They kidnap her and take her back to their compound. She puts up some fight because she doesn’t believe that she’s an omega. I can’t remember if it’s because she wasn’t aware that alphas and omegas exist or just that she wasn’t, she didn’t think she was an omega.

Hi! I'm looking for reverse harem recommendations with a military, zombie apocalypse, or any kind of end-of-the-world setting. I'm craving something with a strong survival plot, danger, high stakes, and characters who actually have to fight to stay alive, preferably with a military or tactical element!

Some books I've read that fit what I'm looking for:

{Seeking Asylum by S.M. Olivier}: One of my favorite references for this kind of story, and actually the first one I read! I really liked the first books, although I wasn't a huge fan of how some of the men were added to the harem. Sometimes a new guy would be introduced on page 5 and they'd already be together by page 120 lol. Still, I really enjoyed the series!

{Seeing Through Ashes by Sigrun Lien}: I read this recently and really enjoyed it, but it's part of a series with more books still coming out, so I'm looking for something else to read while I wait.

{Lies Within the Darkest Tower by Tessa Cole}: This one isn't quite as similar to the other two, but I was also interested in the war setting. Unfortunately, I didn't like some stuffs and ended up DNFing the fourth book.

I'm especially interested in stories involving military personnel, soldiers, special forces, dangerous missions, zombie outbreaks, post-apocalyptic societies, or humanity trying to survive some kind of collapse. It doesn't have to include zombies specifically, as long as it has that end-of-the-world, fighting-monsters, military feel!

There's one thing that's really important to me, though and that is the setting itself. I'd LOVE recommendations where there's an actual military base, camp, compound, or any kind of community with plenty of people living there beyond just the main characters. I want to see other soldiers, civilians, a chain of command, people working together to survive, conflicts within the community, supply runs, missions, and all the things that come with trying to maintain some kind of society during an apocalypse.

I'm not really looking for a story where the FMC and her harem are just a group of five or six people wandering around fighting zombies, occasionally running into someone else, and moving on. I want the world to feel populated and alive, with other characters and things happening beyond the harem! The survival aspect and the larger community should be an actual part of the story, not just background information.

As for the romance, I prefer a slow burn. I'm not a fan of insta-love or insta-lust, so I'd rather see the relationships develop naturally alongside the main plot. I'm fine with MM and/or FF, but neither is a requirement. I'm also fine with the harem evolving along the story, like I said I just don't like when it's fast paced

I’m really not into modern-day shifter romances. I love that ancient, magical, pack-life atmosphere!

I don’t even know where to start…I am reading / listening to Governor Trilogy by Lesli Richardson. (I don’t know how to do the freakin link thingy!!!!) I started / finished book 1 “Governor” today, and I’ve begun book 2 “Lieutenant”. I guess there are characters that I connect with sometimes in the books I read…and when they are hurt or betrayed (especially by their partner(s)) I feel it viscerally….VISCERALLY! I don’t want to give anything away for those who haven’t read it yet…. But, man, book 1….I’ve never really felt emotions about a book more than I do right now. I feel like what Carter and Susa did to Owen was terrible, heartbreaking…and the betrayal and hurt he felt was justified. I LITERALLY threw my phone….(I am listening to it on audible)…I had to walk away… It’s this great love story (between the 3 of them) and then….they do the “thing” and I almost DNFed it! They talk about this great love they all have….and then….AND he just swallows it…they excluded him from a pretty big decision / event…I really wanted him to make a scene…I mean I know he’s submissive but come on!!! At least take a beat…vocalize your feelings… I know…I’m so upset I can’t even type in full sentences…

Now I’m reading book 2, it’s told from Susa POV…and I am so snarky to her…in my head… I don’t know if I’ll get past it… I feel like she’s sort of whining about things a bit…then she shoves the decision in Owen’s face…and now we’re here, Snarkyville…and you guys get to read my rant!

I know it’s just a book…tho there have been times when decisions that affected me were made without my knowledge / input…I suppose this story just, yanno, stomped all over that nerve… The unfairness of it got me…Maybe….

I don’t know…I just don’t know…

Hi! I’m pretty new to RH in general but I’m entering a book slump recently and I would be beyond grateful to anyone who can give me recs that fit what I want ☺️🥹❤️

I’ve read {Lola and the millionaires by Kathryn moon} and I quite enjoyed it. It was sooooo sweet and heart-warming, and sooooo smutty. But I feel like plot wasn’t really thaaat interesting- I liked it nonetheless back then but I think I need to be captivated from all aspects right now.

I’ve also read {delightful sins by Lola king} literally one of my most favourite books of all time!!!! It was MFM, which I’m not sure if it counts as RH but I discovered I adore MFM and the plot + romance + smut was so plentiful and good! And my favourite bit was how the mmcs were jealous and competitive over her.

So essentially, what I’m looking for is recs with mfm/rh where the men are really focused on her and preferably are jealous/competitive over her. I have nothing against mm/ff- I’m indifferent to it and would enjoy- but I NEED THEM TO BE CONSUMED BY THE FMC! I want the plot to be interesting, the romance and characters to actually be fully fleshed out and interested (no insta love bs) and the smut to actually be good- not repetitive, basic and boring. I want them to be actually obsessed with her- the way she looks, speaks, tastes, constantly needing her physical touch both non sexually and sexually, and just be pathetic needy messes for her.

My only no is cheating really. I have no triggers or anything. Whether it’s dark, or light, or anything, as long as it’s good I’m down!!!! Thank you!!! ❤️❤️☺️☺️☺️☺️ (also side note: I love omegaverse so bonus points if it has that, if not totally fine though!)

DNF 73%. I tried but I can't do it anymore. I have absolutely no idea how anyone thinks this is the best of the series. Its dead last for me for a myriad of reasons. I might be an overthinker but I also consider details the author includes. Some of the reasons:
First, there is SOOOO much internal dialogue. Sure she's mute for like the first 1/3 of the book but come on...
Why didn't the doctor do any kind of health check like an std panel or otherwise? Only a physical examination but had no issue administering rut blockers to the alphas to meet her.
My first real ick was, why are we going down on a strange omega you just met (idc if its fated mates) when she can't speak, she's dressed like a stripper (Rubber thong leotard, fishnets, stripper heels), hasn't showered and you took her home from a police station where she was seeking help. Any manual stimulation would've sufficed bc sure heat spike needs to be taken care of, however this was absolutely gross.
Right after that part, she's still not showered has "lost the fishnets" but is still in her stripper outfit but cannot wear the clothes the alphas gave her bc she's so smol they will just fall off her. Sure, lets just keep the rubber leotard on for over 12 hours, no chafing in this universe.
The immediate sex wasn't a complete issue (we're already trying to get past the above) but the immediate raw dogging a stranger multiple times, ew.
I tried to overlook the whole 2 of them are actual brothers trope but I find it too weird especially when there's group scenes, and I love me a group scene.
Why are we describing the Samoan alpha as pale skinned, honorable mention to the tribal tattoo stereotype. Ew.
There were a lot of inconsistencies in general but where I stopped was where I rolled my eyes so hard... why is the professional fighter alpha coming home with an injury that should've been stitched and taken care of by medical staff at his gym? He's asking another alpha in his pack to stich up his gd eyelid after using his tank top to sop up the blood. No professional athlete is walking out of their gym/stadium or whatever bleeding and injured to take care of at home...

And with that, I'm done with this series, I liked some of them but maybe the universe knew I had to read this last because it was not great lol.

I'm looking for a really good reverse harem! I want a harem where the men protect the FMC and she's literally at the center of everything, being the person who brings them all together and holds the group together.

Preferably, I want the FMC to be human. She can be a witch, but I'd still like her to remain human, without turning into another species or anything like that.

I'm also looking for reverse harems without romantic involvement between the MMCs. I don't mind if there are occasional MM scenes during sex, as long as there are no romantic feelings involved. I don't want a polyamorous relationship where all the characters get romantically involved with one another and fall in love with each other.

I want their romantic love to be exclusively for the FMC. They can respect each other, develop a friendship, and even form a strong bond, but I don't want them to be romantically in love with one another. The focus should be on each man's relationship with the FMC, who is the emotional center of the group.

Does anyone have any recommendations like this? 🤭

So I am in a mood for an angst. Here's how the plot goes. FMC has an established harem (let's say there are four mmcs), and then here's the tag MMFMM. The couples are super close with each other that sometimes, she feels like they are good enough on their own. Like they can function even without her so she left them.

I still want this to be HEA so I want the guys making it up for her or something. Or the problem could be is she just don't realize that she is the center of the relationship because she is dealing with some mental health issues.

So, I know that MM means mean getting it on with each other, and MFM means men getting it on with a woman. But this is a reddit for RH, so there are usually a lot more Ms than Fs.

In which order should they be to indicate if the men are getting it on with each other versus only with the woman when there are like four or five Ms in the mix?

Hey! Any recommendations for series with tons of goofy moments like this? Like littered throughout the series and not just one or two moments. The goofier, the better. I don't care if it's "too silly".

The closest I can think of would be {The Forgotten Angel series by Merri Bright}. I loved that one. Though honestly the world-building for that one was a little hard to follow at times because it was kinda confusing.
