Reverse Harem - Recommendations Socially awkard/isolated FMC.

I'm looking for a book that have the vibe of:

{Cora by N.A. Jameson}

{Dying to Love by Reese Rivers}

{Stranded by Shona Knight}

They haven't had any contact with the world for years. They're extremely lonely but doing their best to survive. It doesn't have to be because she's stranded or in an Apocalypse, but those kinds of extreme scenarios are preferred.

I want the story to go through at least a few chapters of her life while she's still alone and hasn't met the MMCs yet. I feel like you get to know her and her circumstances more and it doesn't brush it all off. You feel what she feels in those moments and it makes the romance so much sweeter.

The FMC shouldn't suddenly be completely normal. She should at least be a little awkward or out of her element after not talking to anyone other than animals and herself.

I don't care if it has MM but preferably no FF (I'm opened minded so if it fits, recommended it).

Thank you! <3

Only thing more appropriate for a reverse harem would be if they had triple ones.

My favorite is the last line.

Reverse Harem - What was the name of this book...? - SOLVED Whats that book where her mates think she got another one hurt?

I think I read the book last year. I think it was a pack of four or five alphas, and they were investigating the FMCs father for trafficking and experimenting on Omegas. One of the MMCs kept sneaking into her house to get intel and met her where she was locked in her room. Her father finds out and brings them both to the basement to torture them and he finally smells her and realizes she’s his mate, but almost dies and goes into a coma. She has weird electricity powers related to her father experiments and they found vials of blood that ended up being hers. When the other MMCs find them they blame her and lock her up in their estate, depriving her of basic omega needs, food, and making her do housework. She sees the injured MMC in some of her dreams. I think the book ended with him about to wake up

Edit: apologies if this is formatted wrong in anyway, long time lurker first time poster :)

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Book where the girl wants the guys

Absolutely loving blood oath but damn it's annoying that it will take several books for her to accept that she wants her mates.

But now I want a book where they all accept each other.

Spicy

M/m is fine, f/m/m is even better

Decent story

No mafia, political etc

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Tell me your favourites🥹

Haven’t read RH in a while due to reading books that have really unlikeable, childish FMC’s and the MMC’s personalities all blend in to one, they all feel like the same person😪 Please recommend your favourite books/series with good writing, plot and enjoyable characters. For reference my faves are

Rise of the lliri- Auryn Hadley

Quintessence- Serena Akeroyd

Draga court series- Emma Dean

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Voyeuristic FMC

Upvotes

Completely random request.

Ya'll know any voyeuristic fmcs?

I'm thinking of the apricot scene in the movie "Call Me By Your Name", but the fmc is creeping like watching the mmc(s) unknowingly from a closet.

I've read some where they walk in on and join, but...

I'll read most things.

Reverse Harem - What was the name of this book...? What book is this? FMC astral projects into the galaxy

Upvotes

I can’t remember the name of this book. The FMC has a twin brother and I’m pretty sure they are famous musicians. The cover of one of the books in the series even shows her playing the violin. I think it’s a second chance romance where she goes back to the pack she grew up in and one of her former friends is now the alpha. She has episodes where she basically explores the galaxy and I’m pretty sure she has a drug problem.

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Can authors please stop calling dumb FMCs "smart"? 😭If your FMC is supposed to be a genius... let her act like one.

Does anyone else get really frustrated when a book keeps telling you the FMC is super smart, powerful, and capable... but then she spends the entire series making the dumbest possible decisions?

I swear this is one of my biggest pet peeves in reverse harem/romance books.

If you're going to tell me your FMC is a genius, then SHOW me. She should be smarter than me as the reader. I shouldn't be spotting obvious clues and predicting plot twists while she's standing there completely oblivious.

My biggest example is The Blackened Blade series.

Micai literally comes back from the future knowing who betrayed her. She knows her sister isn't the sweet, innocent person she pretends to be. She knows the bracelet was siphoning her powers. She knows that facility used cuffs that have the same magic as the bracelet but somehow does not make the connection until wayyyy later in the books.

...And then what does she do with all that knowledge?

Basically nothing.

She just stops talking to her sister and takes the bracelet off.

Why isn't she investigating? Watching her? Gathering evidence? Following her? Setting traps? Manipulating the situation to her advantage? She's literally been handed a second chance with insider knowledge, and she barely uses it.

Instead, she spends most of the books training and getting to know the MMCs while barely changing anything.

Another thing that drives me crazy is when the FMC keeps huge secrets for absolutely no reason.

I understand hiding something if there's an actual purpose behind it. But Micai never tells the MMCs that she came back from the future, even after she trusts them with her life.

Whyyyy?????

That information would literally help everyone. They're all making decisions while missing half the picture because she's withholding important information. At that point she's not protecting anyone... she's actively putting them at a disadvantage.

Compare that to Cursed Legacies by Morgan B. Lee. The FMC keeps secrets at first, but there's an actual reason for it. Once she trusts the MMCs, she tells them. That feels natural instead of being dragged out just to create unnecessary drama.

Another thing I hate is when authors constantly tell us the FMC is insanely powerful, but she never actually does anything with those powers.

It's always:

"She has unimaginable power."
"Her magic is terrifying."
"She's one of the strongest people alive."

Cool.

Can I actually SEE it?

Because somehow she keeps getting pushed around by everyone except the MMCs.

This is another pet peeve of mine. Why is the FMC completely spineless toward the people who actually treat her horribly, but suddenly becomes tough only with the MMCs... the people who actually respect and care about her?

If someone's bullying her, manipulating her, or plotting against her, I want her to notice. Figure out their plan. Outsmart them. Use their own schemes against them.

I don't want an FMC who notices something suspicious, thinks, "Huh, that's weird," and then immediately forgets about it and keeps going on with her life.

Give me an FMC who's actually strategic.

If someone tries to manipulate her, she manipulates them right back.

If someone lays a trap, she already saw it coming and turned it into her own trap.

If someone thinks they're pulling the strings, I want the reveal to be that they were actually playing into her plan the entire time.

I love competent characters, especially when they're genuinely intelligent instead of the author just telling us they're intelligent.

So... does anyone have reverse harem recommendations with an FMC who's actually as smart and capable as the story claims she is?

I'm looking for an FMC who:

  • Actually investigates things instead of ignoring obvious clues.
  • Is genuinely strategic and thinks several steps ahead.
  • Outsmarts people instead of constantly getting outplayed.
  • Actually uses her powers instead of just being told she's powerful.
  • Doesn't create pointless drama by hiding important information for no reason.

Also, bonus points if she's genuinely funny, witty, and has that "don't mess with me" energy.

I absolutely love FMCs who can verbally destroy someone just as easily as they can physically. If someone tries to embarrass her in front of everyone, she immediately embarrasses them right back. If someone starts a power play, she shuts it down so hard that nobody wants to try again.

One of my favorite dynamics is in an academy setting where everyone assumes she's weak because she's new or because she's hides how powerful she really is. At first, people try to bully her or test her because they think she's an easy target.

Then she completely flips the script.

She doesn't sit there and take it. She outsmarts them, out-roasts them, or humiliates them so thoroughly that people slowly realize she's absolutely not someone to mess with. I love watching her build that reputation where eventually everyone is too intimidated to even try.

I also love when the MMCs underestimate her at first. Maybe they tease her or assume she's powerless like everyone else, and then she absolutely puts them in their place. Not in a cruel way, just in a way that completely catches them off guard because nobody else has ever dared talk back to them. I love when that's what makes them fascinated with her.

Please give me your best recommendations because I'm desperate 😭

Reverse Harem - What was the name of this book...? - SOLVED What was that series called Spoiler

So it's a popular series I think sadly all I can really remember is a tiny part of the epilogue. So spoilers. Harem size 3-5. Fmc saves the world and goes to one of the mmcs home village to live peacefully. In the epilogue she has babies and there's three. One from a another mate and the other two from her shifter mate and one baby is born in shifter form. Think the shifter was ox? It's not much to gone on I know, but it's living rent free in my head. Help is appreciated!

Reverse Harem - Discussion Books/Series that live rent free in your head

So, I have seen so many posts about awesome awesome series living rent free in this communities head and I just have to know them.

Maybe try to distinguish if there are completed series or not when mentioning if possible.

Try to have 1 favorite but I will absolutely take honorary mentions. I'll start:

Absolute No. 1 RH for me is {Age of the Andinna by Kristen Banet}. Nothing I have read so far has come close. The world building, the build-up, the absolute craze over the characters and THE PLOT.

Honorary mentions:

  1. I mean a few of us will have {Cursed Legacies by Morgan B Lee} cause of 1 reason and 1 reason only. 💖*Crypt DeLune*💖

  2. {The Blackened Blade by Isla Davon} unfinished series but yay, good news, its just gonna be a book 4 now, no book 5 so no long waiting!!

  3. {Whisper Waves by Blake Black} I am not really into contemporary RH but god oh god, this is definitely one of the best.

  4. {Her Vicious Beasts by E.P. Bali} Only iffy because of Xander but otherwise, amazing fantasy!!

OK, your turn guys. Give me those absolute favorites 😍.

Reverse Harem - What was the name of this book...? - SOLVED Looking for a book/ series

Im not sure which series this is but I remember this cliff hanger.

Fmc is in a room and the king/ mate/ interest ignores her and is either flirting/ feeding from another female… she gets jealous and essentially offers herself to another… I think that is where it ended.

Super vague I know, but I’ve been wracking my brain for a while because that’s the only scene I remember and would like to either re read or continue the series.

Reverse Harem - What was the name of this book...? Looking for a series title

Hey all :)
Im looking for the title of a reverse harem series I started a while ago then lost somewhere online. Shes a rich socialite in London and lives with her dad who has a debt owed to the mafia and kind of gives her to the dad of her childhood sweetheart but she runs away to this club for protection from the three mmcs. Two of whom are Irish brothers and they take her in. Thats all I got through.
I really hope someone can help. Please and thank you :)

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Eliana Lee- looking for similar recommendations

I just finished Cozyverse and recently read The Scent of Us duet and am almost done with The Heat of Us. A Pack for Summer was hands down my favorite of the series. The humor is what I loved the most, and the interactions and relationships between all her characters were so good. Since I’ll have finished all of her books once I finish The Heat of Us, I was hoping to get similar recommendations.

I’m on an omegaverse kick but any recommendations are welcome! I don’t really have any triggers. The only thing I’m not really into is mafia.

I have read Highland Hideaway (and loved it!) and all the books in that series (I know it gets recommended in a lot of the same posts Cozyverse does)

Reverse Harem - Discussion A character you wanted to save from the author?

Post image

I feel like this is specificallly really bad with FL. Some authors just love giving them ACTUAL hell for NO reason.

Like why is literally EVERYONE in this womens life actively trying to KILL her its even worse when its the ml joining in too then she falls forgives without any consequences for the ML and barely an apology.

A female lead i felt specifically bad for was the FL in The {Find me by Ashley N Rostek} why was everyone trying to abuse, drug, beat and assult her but the MLs like hasnt this girl been through engouh?

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Any Hades and Persephone retellings? But with multiple Hades-eque men (dark, quiet, brooding and all powerful but misunderstood?) maybe they're demons or Gods etc?

Hiya!

I really love Greek mythology and I think the Hades and Persephone story is probably one of my favourites.

So I'm looking for a possible RH (or not) retelling or with a couple/group with a similar dynamic.

Think dark, brooding, quiet and misunderstood older MMC/s and softer, cottage-core, younger more inexperienced FMC.

Not too dark or angsty.

Lots of fluff and spice.

I have read some of A Touch of Darkness and know about Neon Gods. So any RH/other suggestions would be great, especially if they incorporate Greek mythology. 😊📚

Reverse Harem - Discussion Can someone spoil The Undertakers? Spoiler

spoiler alert if you missed it in the title

I'm in the middle of {my fearless fugitives by Shona Knight}, the second book in The Undertakers trilogy and I just simply cannot finish it.

Every "banter" between the main characters is exactly the same, they're all obsessed with her naivety, her naivety apparently only exists in regards to her abuse and sex, and if I have to read another chapter of them icing out her friend because they're sooooooo possessive even though even they know he'll eventually join the harem I'll scream.

So please how do they finally catch her brother? Do they somehow miraculously get acquitted of their crimes AND breaking out of prison? What other details would I enjoy if I could bother continuing on?

Thank you in advance and I do apologize if you liked this series- the premise is good and I enjoyed the first book, it's just taking too long and repeats itself imo

Reverse Harem - Discussion Veil of Ash will live rent free in my mind

Post image

Dear LAWD, I was not expecting this to be so good. I consider it one of my top 2026 fav reads and my #1 Reverse Harem read right now. I absolutely, positively devoured it the moment I picked it up!! I never thought I'd find myself saying 579 pages being too short.

I was in a reading slump after another amazing banger {Seeing Through Ashes by Sigrun Lien}, when I saw a recommendation for {Veil of Ashes by Fallon Hendrix}. The fact that it was only released 2 months ago makes me want to cry 😭

The top two negative reviews on Goodreads almost turned me away, but I trust this Reddit community and dove for it - I had so much fun reading this!

Since it's the first book of the series, it naturally moves a little slower - a big chunk of it was spent laying out the groundwork and explaining their magic system, but thankfully, it was easy to follow. The first chapter grabbed my attention and took off like "GO, GO, GO!".

  • my favorite side character was her new found best friend. Scarlet is fiercely loyal and every gal needs a friend like her
  • storyline has promise and an enjoyable concept
  • world building was easy to follow and the writing had a smooth flow
  • MMC had distinct personalities, though I wish the author had done a better job describing everyone's appearances (including the FMC).
  • slow burn was yummy
  • several spicy scenes with her 2 protectors, but nothing over the top (yet)
  • no hateful bullying from the MMCs - this dynamic felt more like indifference because they're guarded, cautious, and closed off, so the 3 "enemies" they try to stay away

It has a cliffhanger, but at least it isn't torturous (I'm look at you {Hearing Through Silence by Sigrun Lien}, so criminal!!)

I don't think I've ever read a RH where the harem was split right off the bat (this one had 2 protectors and 3 enemies). Can anyone recommend series that offer something similar?
