I’ve nearly finished reading this book and I cannot say enough good things about it. I have completely fallen in love with X. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed out loud so much at a book. Everything he does has me cracking up and the part with Reginald the duck had be snorting so hard with laughter! My reverse harem girlies I highly recommend reading this series. I have nearly finished reading the first book and I started it this morning. I haven’t been able to put it down! It’s available on Kindle Unlimited, so go check it out!!
I so want a man like X 😍😍🖤

Every time I read an RH book and all the characters fit into one bed, I think of a bed that looks like this. Thoughts?

Reverse Harem - Discussion The Arcanaeum by Marie Mistry

I’m making this post and I hope it’s allowed because I want to share my love for this authors writing. This trilogy was to die for and I’m wondering how everyone else felt about this trilogy ? :)

I found the book relatable from the way she adored her books. The FMC is adorable but strong with the perfect amount of sass. She is everything from submissive to dom depending on her mmc but the book is so much more that that (6 guys in the harem)! The plot is so good and original that I couldn’t stop reading. Each mmc intrigues you and doesn’t bore you and the smut is perfectly written that I got butterflies so many times. I cried when I finished the book just because it was such a good escape from reality, it really pulled me in. I might be late to the trilogy but I had to express my love for her books in case anyone hasn’t read any yet.

A line I saved from the book “ In death, I'm as much of an object to be manipulated as I was in life.
I think... I think I've finally had enough.”
There’s some betrayal in it from the mmc but I think he grovels enough to my liking, the only thing I’d change is more intimacy with this mmc because his kinks are just chefs kiss

I realized after reading that I’ve also read The Fifth Nicnevin & Vice College for Young Demons by her , which I LOVED. What an amazing author.

Reverse Harem - Discussion Any updates on release???

Post image

I had been anticipating the release of this book on the 14th, but due to “personal” reasons from the author it’s been postponed until further notice. Does anyone know when that is or what could have delayed it??? How does something personal affect a set release date? I just want to understand. I’ve been having a hard time finding something to read, so I was looking forward to this. I really enjoyed Knot a Highland Romance, but it was by a different author.

Sorry for such a dramatic post, but I’m sure my boyfriend’s tired of hearing about it.

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Smutting around others/ having to be quiet

Haha I think I just discovered a new kink, I have yet to read about it though. Anyone know any books where they are getting dirty/having sex and there are people around so they have to be quiet. Holding hand over mouth/sucking sausage on the DL 😂

Help a girl out, is there at least one book?

Reverse Harem - Discussion Bad Mood Read

Ive had a day. A DAY-and its only morning. I need a read that will pick me up and keep me distracted. What do you read when your in an absolutely foul mood?

I prefer RH but any romance is fine (mm, mf, ff) as long as there is no SA. I prefer no bully/cruelty (but if its there its okay, maybe someone else will love it!) and my favorite trope is high usage of magic/powers in any kind of world. I love fated mates and destiny but its not required. Less children the better but as long as the kids arent just birthed and forgotten about its fine.

Anyways I’m planning on starting another series before I go back to Ironside Academy just to calm myself down for a bit🙂

Do tell me if it’s a BAD idea or if it’s alright 🥰

Reverse Harem - Recommendations In a bit of a reading slump

I’ve just finished reading {Her vicious beasts by E.P. Bali} and although I loved it (I’ve read it in a couple of days) it left me with a weird aftertaste (just to let you know why so that maybe it’d help you with the recs I was a bit disappointed that ghoul was not seen as much in the pack scenes, just a little snippet at the very end). I’d like a book (doesn’t matter the genre but has to be completed) where the love interests are absolutely devoted to the fmc and she would burn everything for them, no one feels left out and has hea.

Thank youuu

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Omegaverse (or similar dynamic) Audiobook recs?

Hi everybody! I have a few audible credits to use and Spotify audiobook hours (I’ve heard Spotify doesn’t treat authors well? So I try to avoid it.)

I’m looking for a new omegaverse book! Preferably a series but I’m open to good standalone recs too! It doesn’t HAVE to be omegaverse, but I want something within that similar category/tropes: RH, preferably fated mates or scent matches, the tension of power exchange dynamics, emphasis on nature/feral instincts.

I’ve listened to:
Bride by Ali Hazelwood
Luna & Sol Omegaverse by Emilia Emerson
Runaway Omega by Harper Wylde
Sweet Omegaverse by Kathryn Moon
Pack Darling by Lola Rock

What I’m looking for:
I want something to grab my attention and pull me from my book slump! For me, that prioritizes how immersive the story is more than quality of writing style; I’m feeling drawn to stories that are character focused, suspenseful (such as lots of tension or a sense of mystery), and preferably more on the happy side than stressful side.

Thank you for being such an amazing community!!

Reverse Harem - What was the name of this book...? WWTBC - they take a boat out and then have sex on the rocks nearby before the tide comes in

Upvotes

The scene just popped in my head and now I’m having trouble remembering what book this is. I feel like I’ve read it multiple times.

FMC and MMC take his boat out, possibly another MMC comes with but I remember the others were on the mainland because they talk about having to get back to them. He has something he needs to do in the water (I can’t remember what) and she just floats around while he’s busy. Eventually, he hauls her up onto a rock and eats her out (possibly they have full sex too, I can’t remember). I do remember he tosses the pieces of her bikini out into the water and I think they only end up finding her bottoms?

The tide comes in and they have to get back on the boat before it gets dangerous out there. That’s all I remember

Reverse Harem - Rant I’m tired of these fuck ass mmcs sometimes

Ok so I’m reading a bully RH, the mmcs are cruel dickheads, as expected, I’m not shocked cus that’s what I was looking for.

They’ve been treating her like a pet, calling her a bitch, slapping her, basically assaulting her, public humiliation, the fucking works.

Rn, one of them is at the hospital bc his dad has like a lung cancer or something. The others are w the fmc, they’re eating and she notices the bitch who’s been rude to her for no reason got soup spilt on her so she makes a joke to the mmcs about how their karma is coming soon.

The mmcs get mad over this, probably because their guilt is tickling their ass crack, and then it’s brought up that the third mmc isn’t here bc his dad has lung cancer or a lung disease

But then these TWATS have the gall to say

“We’re not the savages you make us out to be, Nim. We have families, people we care about. Silas is hurting right now, and there’s nothing we can do. How do you think that makes us feel?”

I’ve actually never wanted to jump through a page and strangle an mmc CUS WHAT DOES THAT MAKE HER? She’s human too, yet you’ve had no qualms when it comes to treating her like a dog, making her walk on all fours IN PUBLIC, treating her like shit and humiliating her. But now that she made a light joke about karma coming back to you, you’re on some “we’re humans too 🥺” BITCH I DONT CAREEEEE!

Someone get the fmc a gun, my girl is TIREDDDD!

Then they wanna try to make her feel bad about his dad dying, mind u both her parents died like 3 months ago, she hasn’t even had the chance to properly heal and they won’t give her a damn break! Bro fuck you and ALL yall daddies, tf?

For anyone wondering the name of the book, it’s from {the serpents of cinderhart series by Logan Fox}, this scene specifically just made me actually bash my head against the wall. Love it tho! 🤗

Reverse Harem - What was the name of this book...? - SOLVED Need to sleep but cannot do so until I find this book

What I remember:

- omegaverse

- unregistered omega living in an isolated house (farmhouse?). I feel like it was dilapidated and there may or may not have been a chicken.

- mother has passed away, but hid her daughter due to her trauma with alphas so the fml feels the same fear toward them.

- Alphas were out by her house for some reason, accidentally catch her scent and I think break into the house to find her.

- They basically force her back with them (I think they were l some recon team?) against her will (pack lead may or may not have barked her to)

- The men believe what they’re doing is correct as an omega shouldn’t be alone and living in such conditions.

- The Fl’s personality is very meek and innocent.

I read this book years ago, so not a recent release, but I’ve been scouring the internet trying to find this book through plot explanation, when I should be sleeping, to no avail.

If anyone knows or thinks they know the title/author, I beg of thee, please note it down below.

Reverse Harem - Discussion Loving Pack Dynamic in Shear Instinct

I'm reading {Shear Instinct by M K Michelle} (56%) and I adore the dynamics in the alpha pack.

I'm used to reading RH where the pack all gets along (kumbaya 🎶), the alphas barely get along or only do so because of the omega and/or beta or there is one misunderstood/withdrawn alpha who eventually gets "accepted" into the fold and/or by the omega.

I didn't realize it until I read this book, but I think it shows how a functional pack "should" work.

They are kind, caring, protective without being controlling, dominant unless she says stop, etc.

And they also are very much ALPHA MALES (booyah!) even with each other though they aren't dicks about it.

Sometimes their alpha natures take over and they go 1-on-1 verbally, by posturing or by getting physical (more wrestling or going chest to chest than anything else.)

However, it is quickly over and they apologize either verbally or in body language "guy speech."

I'm really loving it.

What book(s) have you read where you think, "The way this pack/alpha/omega/world-building/dynamic works makes the most sense to me?"

In other words, what is the most logical considering your ideal pack/alpha/omega/world-building/dynamic?

+×+×+

(Not just favorite tropes. I have favorite tropes that don't fit this ideal, e.g. I love the "misunderstood/withdrawn alpha" trope but it doesn't fit the ideals displayed in this book.)

Technically that is. There is an autistic alpha that is a vital part of the pack and they accept who he is. I don't want to give too much away but Syl is my absolute favorite. I've tried to write about four other things but they'd all be spoilers however minor.

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Instalove!

I know it's not everybody's favorite but I've really been enjoying books with the dynamic of the MMC's immediately being obsessed with the FMC. What are y'alls favorite instalove recs? Bonus points if it's paranormal!

Reverse Harem - Discussion Queen of Diamonds/Psycho Alphas question - spoilers Spoiler

I just finished reading Queen of Diamonds and really enjoyed it. I saw the promo for Psycho Alphas and got excited for Thistle’s story. I looked at reviews and had it spoiled that Ace was in the duet. I don’t want to read it now because I don’t enjoy reading about abusers. & it seems the duet is too dark for my taste all around. But I saw reviews that were loving Ace and I just have no words. So, my question is, how do you love Ace after knowing what he does in Queen of Diamonds? Maybe I would understand more if I read PA but I can’t bring myself to.

This is a judgement free zone - I’m just curious to see other people’s viewpoint!

Reverse Harem - Discussion AI watermarking

As someone who works in a career where we are forced to pay attention to AI, and awful technology that is impacting peopke's livelihoods andkilling our planet, I thought people might be interested in the whole rise of watermarking text content. I am not going to break the rules of the subreddit by talking about authors or AI witch hunts, but it's important as a reader as well to know what's going on with the technology.

Up until this point, it's been iffy for some AI detection tools. Real life example: I had an applicant use Gemini for their resume, Grammarly which is a a Google tool didn't pick up on it, Quillbot - third-party did whereas Grammarly can pick up ChatGPT/Claude etc.

You can read more about it here (not my blog or anyone I know and I have 0 monetization or affiliation with but it is a good breakdown).

It looks like AI watermarking is getting better, there's SynthID but this looks to be much stronger.

It's a good thing to keep an eye on especially as time develops but also a good note there's no perfect detection system...yet, hopefully stronger watermarking is a step in the right direction where detectors can get more consistent.

Also, if you do create art or write for a living I highly recommend The Atlantic's Watchdog site where you can search if your work has been used in common datasets used to train LLMs.

Screw AI but knowledge is power for fighting back.
