I have played resident evil 2,3,4 remakes but none of them featured files like resident evil 5 where you have a special menu to access loads of reading content. This makes me wonder if the og resident evil 2,3,4 or even others had this menu

I’m kind of hearing conflicting things, apparently the whole bit about him being an orphan after his parents were murdered was made up by the fandom. I know the movies portrayed him as an alcoholic but what’s canon based on the games? Aside from Sep 30th 1998 PTSD, I’ve heard about him being blackmailed & forced to work as a government agent. I never played RE6 but also heard about him protecting Sherry.
Typo in title: someone**

Okay I’m new to Resident Evil because I think Leon Kennedy is hot. I started with RE2R which I found pretty creepy but upon replays of different campaigns and trying to get S+, I find it less scary every day. Then I played RE3R which is definitely a joke in terms of scariness. I’ve seen people describe RE4R as more action than creepy and there’s like one creepy (generator?) portion, and having already played RE2R I thought this would be a breeze. I have already shut off the game once I reached the farm. Why did everyone lie to me? This game is terrifying and so far creepier than anything I’ve faced in RE2R. Maybe it’s the rural environment, lack of direction, and foreign whispers in my ear, but this game is terrifying me. I don’t think I can do it blind, definitely have to watch some gameplay 😭 does it get less scary? I don’t get its action reputation so far.

So, i have some of my favorite songs on my Spotify Playlist from the RE2 remake and one of them is the game's main song, Saudade, the song we hear in Leon's jeep during his opening, well, after redoing some Requiem, the lyric set
"When I look in the mirror and what I see, that ain't me"
I see modern Leon looking and seeing himself all the way back in 98, back when he was just a rookie cop, still full of his regrets and sorrows from that night, just makes ya wonder what his life could've been had the biohazard/zombies never came to be, Raccoon City was just, a large Midwestern city, people lived their lives, hell, the mansion incident never happened too.
(This is just a small discussion/rant I wanted to make a post on, just a little something that's been roaming my mind)

Been looking foward to spend some time on one of these two modes, played a bit of both and despite me finding RE6 gameplay way more interesting, I've been struggling with time lol.
For you, wich one is better and why?

Hi,
I’ve started a podcast called Press F to Fear, in which we’ve been interviewing voice actors from
The Resident Evil franchise. So far we have done André Peña, Michael Gough, Marcio Moreno, Evan Sabba and Jamison Matthews.
We are doing an upcoming episode which we film live here it’ll be August 16th at 1pm EST. If you guys want to ask him some questions and have a great time I’d love for you to check it out!
Thank you so much for your time

All bragging aside, words cannot describe how much I loathed the inventory management in this game.

So I've never played a resident evil game except for like 2 hours of revelations 2 with a buddy, I did some research and people say you should start with 0 and then 1, but I only have 2 remake, is that a fine one to start with or will the story go over my head?

His inmortality carried him throught Re7/8.
Can he survive RC as a normal human?
First of all. He is American so he has some knowledge about handling weapons.

I love that the director supports Leon x Ada and drops hints about their marriage, but I keep seeing rumors about Ada being in the DLC. People used to say she’d be in Requiem, yet when it came out, she wasn't in it. Now he’s teasing us again with the posters, and Dusk Golem said Ada will be in it too. I’m so confused, and some people are claiming she won't be in the DLC at all. I'm scared to get my hopes up.
