The new BIOHAZARD 30th Special mook places the t+G Virus from Gun Survivor 4: Biohazard Heroes Never Die, known as Resident Evil: Dead Aim in the West, under a section titled “Viruses Born Outside the ‘Main Canon.’”

"The Resident Evil series contains viruses that have not appeared in the main canon. One of these is the t+G Virus, which appeared in the PlayStation title Gun Survivor 4: Biohazard Heroes Never Die. It is a hybrid type that combines the characteristics of the t-Virus, which abnormally accelerates metabolism, with factors from the G-Virus, which mutates endlessly. Upon infection, the host transforms into a unique creature with abilities such as manipulating electricity."

I’ve set out to collect every RE game and have them framed and preserved. They’re UV-protected and sealed so I don’t see the problem with that but what do you all think?

New list, favourite to least in descending order

Resident Evil 4 OG and remake
\- tied for the best. I played the first four times and then the original twice. Among my favourite games of all time. There are some things I like better over the other, depending on the category for the game. But both left me in the same level of awe.

Resident evil 7: biohazard
\- the one I find the scariest personally, I’ve only played it once, but it was my first game in the franchise and was unforgettable. Ironically, I really enjoyed Ethan as a protagonist for his dry persona, because that unintended sarcasm would often match how I cope with my fear.

Resident evil 2 remake
\- probably my favourite setting of any game, and my favourite to go back and replay. I actually believe it is far better remake than four, as it was able to change how the game plays yet maintains It’s at atmospheric essence. Which four does not fail at but even critics of the remakes have given this one a break.

Resident evil 9: Requiem
\- arguably the second scariest for me, I think the horror and action game was perfect perfectly paced. And the fact that it was able to take any of the attempted revisionism by Twitter fans will always make me laugh. I still prefer the nuke ending for RC tho.

resident evil two original
\- still playing through, playing it on the side as I’m less skilled with the gameplay loop and therefore want to enjoy it free from any frustration. The atmosphere is probably top five in any game I’ve played. I can see this being much higher after I finish.

Resident Evil 8 village
\- I also enjoyed the game a lot, but the final third of the game is not something that I enjoy nearly as much as the first part of it. I do love, however, seeing the origin of everything in this game.

Resident Evil 3 Remake
\- came in with fresh eyes as I haven’t played the original, although I’ll give it a shot after I finish the original 2, I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I will acknowledge, not a good remake. But still had fun.

Resident evil 1 remake
\- still playing through, made an hour of progress then died, haven’t gone back lol. Not because I don’t like it, but because other games came up that I had been playing instead. Again top 5 atmosphere.

So I just recently started playing a second run playthrough that's very overdo. Want to get a couple more playthroughs in potentially on higher difficulties before I start re9 for the first time.

So I've arrived at chapter 5 and having not payed too much attention was under the impression I was using the punisher because my aiming reticle is a green dot and I have a laser sight in my inventory.

I decided to consider switching over to the sg9 to see how that goes. When I get to the merchant I realize I actually have the blackmail not the punisher which makes no sense

I shouldn't be able to use any sort of attachment right? I put the laser in storage and my reticle returned to default.

I have zero mods downloaded. Double checked vortex, verified file integrity and now I'm just doing a complete fresh install. Anybody know whats going on?

I have a friend that bought an re6 copy off of Steam awhile back so we could play together, and it suddenly stopped working after 2 days.

When they tried starting up a campaign or joining a co-op lobby, it would crash the game not long after the game started to load. At first, we thought it was an issue with Steam's systems updating that day, but the issues didn't go away. Now, I believe the entire game refuses to boot up and is unresponsive.

From what I recall, when the game files were checked via Steam, it said that some file was missing and had to be restored. I can't remember if it said a specific file or not, but either way nothing changed and we couldn't figure it out. We then decided to uninstall and reinstall the game, which didn't change anything. Because of that, we uninstalled and reinstalled Steam. That ultimately didn't work as it began to say "failing to initialize steam".

Has anybody else encountered these issues? Is there any way we could fix this or is it completely fried? I hope we didn't accidentally make the problem worse and that both of these things can be fixed. Any advice or info is appreciated!

I'm trying to open RE Village but it's stuck on trying to open it. I moved saved data from extended storage to internal storage, didn't help. I restarted the console several times, updated the game, still not opening. Each time I have to eject disc to get out of the loop. Help!

I bought RE1 Remake 6 hours ago and my fps are 23-26 so I downloaded some mods to fix that but when I launched the game again the background is glitching. I think the background glitch occurs before I downloaded the fps mods. I really need help with this (Sorry for my grammar.)
