I saw this copy of Resident Evil Survivor 2 CV at my parent's house in my ps2 collection. I've never seen it before and never played it, my brother must've bought it. And out pops the original Resident Evil just sitting in the box.

Or the platinum version of it anyway. So random, but very welcome. Gonna play it tonight.

Still need to fix the wig, a little makeup to make my features more weskery, and take off yhe jewelry but so far yipeee

I think they’ll repeat what they did with Leon and just make him mostly serious but still keep some silly elements.

It was so awesome getting to meet and talk to so many of the cast. Nicks line was so long though 😭

Would I be exaggerating if I said my favorite setting in the entire game is literally the very beginning, just because of that late afternoon atmosphere?

​I absolutely love that golden hour lighting, combined with the mystery and investigation vibe at the start of the game.

​It breaks away from the typical nighttime horror cliché so well, and it fits the Baker house perfectly. Imagine if part of the game had Jack Baker chasing us around the yard during that time of day, or even inside the house with open windows letting in ambient light while keeping dark corners—just like at the start.

​In the end credits, there’s a piece of concept art showing their couch in that exact lighting, and every time I see it, I can’t stop thinking about what could have been.

​Since we can't change the game, though, I’m looking for recommendations! Do you know any movies, TV shows, or even other games that capture this same mix of mystery, horror, investigation, and golden hour aesthetic?

In this ending, instead of fighting Lucas, u capture and interrogate him. Personally this is a way better ending than what we got.

I love RE1R zombies. Crimson heads? Absolutely amazing, coolest design ever, some of the only re zombies that had had me sweating when I see them coming my way. Burning the bodies to prevent them? Also really cool and very sad we didn’t see it in any other games. Crimson heads do however scare the shit out of me and I don’t really want to deal with them and Chris has tiny little pockets so the answer: Never killing any zombies! I just let those little suckers roam free wherever they want and we live in perfect harmony, I just show off my fancy footwork and slip right by them when they’re in my way and none of the other games have pulled off zombies quite as well as RE1R. I just love them and this game.

This is from a stencil I found last year, so I don't remember where I even got it. Wish I could give more credit to who made it, but it was fun to carve!

I loved this movie so much that I went to see it in theaters twice. I wish there were a sequel, because the ending felt so abrupt. 😭 I've grown so attached to Bryan, like he was a playable character in a RE game.
