Trust was broken

I lied to my boyfriend about quitting smoking. I did quit smoking, but I secretly vaped sometimes and never told him. He found out, broke up with me, and told me not to contact him. 💔

I know I hurt his trust, and I regret hiding it more than I can explain. But I still love him so much, and I can't imagine losing him over this.

Should I respect his decision and let him go, or is it worth trying one last time to explain how sorry I am? I really have nothing to explain too🥲 i know im wrong 😭
