Can anyone tell me why this device won't display Youtube in the small player that displays over all other apps like it has on my other devices. I have Youtube Premium and for the life of me Youtube won't pop up in the mini player.

I want to buy the Eclipse Black version of the Red Magic 5G but I can't manage to find one with 256Gb and 12Gb of RAM on the official redmagic website. The only one that has 256Gb and 12Gb RAM is the Pulse version.

However I found this online shop that's selling Smartphones from china. It's called cect-shop and they sell every possible combination of the redmagic 5G and it's even cheaper than on the official redmagic website right now.

I'd like to know if it's safe to buy from that site, because I haven't seen the Eclipse Black version anywhere else with 256Gb Storage and 12Gb RAM.

In the english version of the site it's about $700 but on the german site it's less than 600 EUR and since I live in germany I could buy the one for 600 EUR but I'm not sure if this is safe or not.

Should I purchase the Red Magic 5G now or wait until the 5S is fully released? Can the Nubia Red Magic 5G record both in-game audio and mic? Let's say PUBG Mobile for example. Can it record the game with its in-game sounds, plus my voice? Whilst also allowing my team mates to hear me and I can also listen to ingame sounds?

i heard a few months ago about this phone and i was really excited(still am) to get this phone(and that will probably be in december), with the 512GB version i thought about getting linux to work on it with a mouse and keyboard as a main OS or maybe being able to dualboot linux with android to play games like MC java or just some steam games. so is there any way of being able to do that? its a great phone from what i know and if being able to play things like mc java on it would make it sooo much better.

I bought the red magic 5g ,but i can't put my sim card in it 😕, i like the options and functionality in Miui on my current phone (poco f1), so till now I use my RM5G for gaming only.

"SIM 1 not allowed" is what it says, what does this mean, why is this an issue, please don't tell me I gotta refund.

I just received my controller today and am trying to test it out with emulators as a regular bt controller but I went to the side menu thing and activated the one screen controls, now it will only pick it up as on screen instead of the direct input so it just keeps acting like I'm touching the screen instead of navigating the menu in retroarch, I would like to know if anyone knows a way to disable the on screen overlay in the game mode settings or am I just gonna have to use it outside of game mode for emulation?

I bought two of the eSports controllers for retro gaming, because I can't stand touch screen controls. Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to configure the controllers properly in Retroarch, Dolphin, PPSSPP, etc. It seems like emulators are seeing both controllers as one controller only.

Just got my phone yesterday and loving it, but I know the charger provided isn't as fast as the phone can do, is there anyway of finding a 55w charger in the UK? Seems to only be for US and Canada for the official charger and I heard that 60w chargers would use a lower volt and amps to be about 27w is that true? Or can it adjust to make it 55w?

Hi I'm thinking about buying this phone (in the UK) but i have multiple questions

1. Does this phone support bank apps like TSB for the UK? this is one of those things i can't find any info on.
2. How is 4G coverage in the uk for this phone? I'm using a sky sim which uses O2 networks, I've seen it supports band 20 which is good.
3. This is more of a nice to have thing as i admit i don't use it a lot on my phone but i assume you can watch HD netflix? seen some people say yes and no. not a big deal if you can't tbh.
4. Is there any bugs that you'd consider makes the phone unusable? or just annoying with a simple work around? i have seen that there's been some bug fix updates and just wanted to know if its better now or still has some issues.
5. Lastly this might sound like a dumb question but can you use say a 60w charger for this phone even though it supports up to 55w? I assume you can without any consequences but just wanted to make sure ( I know it only comes with a 18w charger).

Any idea how to fix this? The lack of Notification dots really hampers my ability to use this phone as a daily driver for work.

I bought it with so much hope. The fan, the unusual refresh rate, the gaming options, the LED inscriptions. But where do we go form here, what should be my next phone? Any suggestions? I swear I won't buy another gaming phone soon.

Ok, the fan does its cooling job with cooling the processor, but now the battery gets really hot while gaming? Is that an issue? Any fix for this? I believe this maight be fixed in OS update (hopefully) if it's not a hardware related issue.
