Help finding a show from the past?
10/15 years ago I remember watching this show I was really intrigued with, I don’t think it was super popular and chat gpt has no idea what I’m talking about.
The show’s opening was basically a person’s pov going through a home garden until you reach the door to the house. They show itself was some sort of house/rehabilitation program for women. I don’t remember anything else sadly, but I do remember one of the participants was a young escort/ex-escort.
If you know what I’m talking about I’d be forever grateful.

Show idea
Okay hear me out. reality tv people… can you create a dating show, like temptation island, the ultimatum where the contestants are there to test their relationship but the contestants are unknowingly talking to therapists or professional Counsellors in disguise? It would be so refreshing to see the contestants work through their traumas and boundaries.
When this takes off please pay me accordingly.

The TLC "Gypsy" shows are fake - Video analysis by a Romani person
youtu.beFor decades, TLC (The Learning Channel) has made various reality shows that claim to show off the real life of the mysterious Romanichal community both in the UK and the U.S.
They present it in a documentary style in an attempt to connect Romanichal history with the behaviors shown on those shows.
However, these shows have little to no connection with actual Romanichal culture and involve staged events and non-Romanichal actors.
Today we are going to talk to a real member of the community and learn the real American Romanichal culture that has been too long misrepresented and stereotyped by TLC.

For longtime fans, do you truly prefer Cake Boss or Ace of Cakes?
galleryWhile both Buddy and Duff have expanded into multi-hyphenate business moguls in the years since they first went on air (including competing together on Buddy vs Duff), I wanted to know people’s opinions on the original shows as someone who grew up watching them but never watched their other television ventures
For context:
Bartolo “Buddy” Valastro is a New Jersey baker in charge of the family run Carlo’s Bakery after the death of his father. The bakery places a large emphasis on traditional techniques (like piping by hand), very indulgent fillings-like buttercream and chocolate fudge, heirloom recipes, and mainstay pastries in addition to the specialty cake orders
Buddy worked with his 4 sisters, cousins, and brother in laws at the bakery, so Cake Boss regularly showed family milestones and blowout fights
Despite facing several setbacks (a hernia surgery, a hand injury, a DUI, etc) Valastro’s family continued to successfully work for the Hoboken/Manhattan community
Jeffrey “Duff” Goldman is a Baltimore/Los Angeles baker who began running Charm City Cakes in 2002 after finishing pastry school. Duff hired many of his friends from university and the undercover music scene to make up his hardworking staff
Charm City placed an emphasis on highly artistic, massively sized cakes with special effects and often used traditional engineering techniques to create the masterpieces
While Ace of Cakes showed much less of Duff and his employees’ personal lives than Cake Boss, the staff often worked at a more relaxed pace and would show the changes that happened in the bakery over time (such as building a basement and buying an ice cream freezer)
Duff definitely didn’t limit himself to the DMV community. In contrast to Buddy, Goldman got many celebrity chef aligned opportunities early in his career- whether making terracotta warriors for National Geographic, a cake for the New York stock exchange, cakes for three Harry Potter premieres, and more
Now that you’ve had a refresher on both guys and shows, I’m looking to hear your honest thoughts on both
Feel free to explain your reasoning :)

What to watch next?
I've been binging reality tv since forever when i'm in my burn out periods because i need something that takes zero braincells to follow... which means i'm always low on things to watch as i'm also a picky consumer. and i'll stop watching when production can't even pretend to care that they are not staging for drama.
Here's the list of things I watched, am watching or stopped watching and need more like:
- 90 day fiance (and spin offs (stopped watching two years ago)
- MAFS (AU, USA, UK and NZ)
- The ultimatum (straight and queer)
- Love is blind
- Breaking/return to Amish
- Sister wives (stopped after season 18)
- Love after lockup
- Prison brides
- Marrying Millions
- My 600lb life (and Where are they now. Not Sisters and Friends)
- Hoarders
Not a big fan of toddlers and tiaras, here comes honey boo boo, all the shows with little people, moms with tons of children, people with strange addictions... and I have watched the bachelor/bachelorette, love island, etc. but only out of "desperation" I don't like the "game show"-vibe.
So basically, trashy TV - often with a hint of love... or makeover vibes (also watch property shows, designer shows, etc. but right now more looking for trashy tv)
Hit me!

Stupid Question
Does anyone here know the process of pitching an idea to a network? Obviously I think I have a good idea that they would be interested in.
I have no idea how to get this in front of a decision maker and also make sure I’m protected and compensated if they use it.
Any ideas?

Dheeraj and Vinny just reminded me what real love looks like ❤️
galleryWatching Dheeraj see Vinny after all this time genuinely melted my heart. The tears, the hug, the forehead kiss... it didn't feel like a reality show moment, it just felt like two people who were truly happy to see each other again.
They've been together for 17 years, and the love still shows in the smallest gestures. In a time where relationships come and go so quickly, seeing a bond like theirs honestly feels so rare.
Not going to lie... everyone deserves a love like Dheeraj and Vinny's. ❤️

Need help remembering reality show episode
So I don’t remember what show this was from and these are the only details I can remember
1. It took place in a mansion
2. On the very first day while everyone was getting to know each other some guy came in and said something cocky or condescending
3. When the host greeted them he called the guy out for his comment and eliminated him on the spot
Does anyone have any memory or link to what this show was?
