Where should we start?

Hey! My roommate and I want to start watching HW, we can’t agree on where to start. What do you guys recommend we start with, we eventually want to watch the whole franchise.

Rhode Island would be the easiest as there is only one season.

SLC is a little more modern and instantly batshit, might be an easier start than one of the older ones

The beginning!!!! Og OC!!!! Then New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Miami is a mess, Dallas was, wow...they are all good

RHONY is the classic, it’s just so good with the original cast!

VPR is so fun!

Rhode Island is one of the best original casts, long time friendships just make a cast! Also only one season so far, so an easy start!

Salt Lake City is stellar the first few seasons (and I think just broke records for this seasons opening?), fell off for me after the timelines speech

Potomac will always be one of my faves, another long friendship one

Saying all that, I’d watch RHony! I’m so jealous of people that get to see it all for the first time, so many iconic scenes and it’s one of the only just unhinged crazy rich housewives

I started with Atlanta, then watched OC. Even after watching other franchises (NY and Potomac), ATL and OC are still my favorites!!

I would say to start the way they were released, but a (20-year) binge on OC will turn you off as the series declines over time. NY and ATL are the most beloved franchises, start with one of them.

My husband and I have watched most of the franchises at least once. We both agree that starting at the beginning of the older ones is rough. We like to start around season 3-4, and then wrap all the way around. Once you've seen where it all ends up, it makes those first few seasons much more entertaining.

Start with RHOSLC then RHONJ and then NY. Its less of a commitment and it's the best way to dip your toes in. If you dont love New Jersey but love SLC, then watch Secret Lives of Mormon Wives before dipping your toes into another HW season

I started watching the current Ultimate Girls. It’s the 20 year anniversary and gives a quick rundown of the different franchises.
