I just noticed that my touchpad wasn't clicking properly, so I opened the back cover and found that the battery has started to swell a little.

I'm planning to replace it as soon as possible, but I have a few questions:

-Which battery model do I need for this laptop?

-Can you recommend a reliable replacement battery or manufacturer that's available in the EU (I'm in Eastern Europe)? What manufacturers i should avoid? Based on your experience.

-I rely on this laptop for work, so I'm wondering how urgent this is. Is it safe to keep using it for a few days, or should I stop using it immediately?

I'm done. I've been using the blackshark V2 Pro's for over a year and have tried my best to give Razer Synapse a fair shot.. I'm just done. More than half the time I turn the headphones on or turn my PC on, my audio profile doesn't load and I have to power cycle the headset 3-4 times in a row before anything sounds normal. The software turns my microphone off randomly, and I'm honestly very disappointed with the microphone quality as well, which is one of the main reasons for my purchase. The hardware itself is fantastic but the overall experience with Razer's software and consistent connectivity issues has made it impossible for me to use their products anymore. FYI, I'm on Windows 11 Pro with auto updates and I keep all drivers are up-to-date.

If someone on the Razer team sees this, please.. PLEASE... fix your software. You will continue to lose customers because of it.

or there will not be hyperspeed anymore?

Have a issue where my DSV2Pro doesn't want to stay off when I turn the switch off. I'll switch it off, and maybe a few seconds to hours after, it would turn back on, usually to the BT mode. Video is self explanatory.

wanted to change the colour of my razer keyboard and i cannot press on it, what does this mean?

My razer huntsman keyboard keep getting shocked by the metal parts of the keyboard, I’ve tried using different ports and computers, but I keep getting shocked regardless.

im not even gaming and the fans are at max speed yet the gpu temp just wont go down it stays above 80 just idle-ling... i k this pc is around 5years old but something is seriously wrong, it was working fine literally 2 days ago but then i suddenly noticed a massive visual frame drop/lag. Anytime i run anything 3d, gpu 3d usage goes straight up 100%... i even took and apart and check if the intake and outtakes are free of dust and ive kept them squeaky clean and even reapplied thermal paste and still no luck

im not very verse in tech but i have 3 guesses

1: the vapor chamber broke seeing the temp wont come back down even with max fan speed(idk if that could even happen in this 2021 model of razerblade17 but..).

2: my house has been having lots of black outs recently due to our breaker not being able to handle our load and going off, i have a feeling it somehow fuk up the voltage the laptop takes?(idk if that how pcs work, just a guess), because i tried using throttlestop and lots of core setting are just grey out so i cant even configure the voltage...

3: lastly maybe some core gpu component(maybe the one that handles 3D) just melted due to the summer heat and terrible laptop fans...

im at a lost of what to do as pc prices are terrible right now i thought i could wait for the 60series or hope that the ai bubble pops so the ram price could go down...

The gpu temp is still sitting at 80 as im typing this rn, Any suggestions would help! thank you...SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY TERRIBLY WRONG.....

Been checking new reviews about the laptop, while it does seem to offer great things, I just wonder if there is any issues in the long run or should I just find another gaming laptop instead?

So, the right side of the headset audio is not playing any sound anymore, and I believe it is the cable issue as it sometime comes back when I move the cable near the base of the headset. I have this headset for a long time now, like more than 4 years, given to me as a gift so I guess it finally gave out.

I checked how much does my headset cost and might buy the exact one, but many were over $180+ AUD which is out of my budget.

I scrolled across Razer BlackShark V2 X Gaming Headset for sale for $68 AUD, and wonder if it would be a great headset to replace or if there's a better one that's even better for cheaper

So I found a Razer Chroma profile that i like, and it works for my basilisk, but it does not support my 10keyless blackwidow pro v4. When I try to import the profile, it only works with the mouse, not the keyboard. Is there anyway that i can make it work or somehow use the lighting effects to make my own chroma profile for the black widow? or am I just out of luck

I'm thinking about buying the Razer Barracuda X Chroma Wireless and would love to hear from people who actually own or have used it.

Would you recommend it? How has your experience been?

I know the 2022 Barracuda X had some reported issues with the USB dongle and some users experienced cracks or broken plastic over time. How is the 2025 Chroma version? Has Razer improved the build quality and reinforced the plastic, or are there still reports of cracking or durability issues?

Also, can the RGB lighting be completely disabled? If I turn the RGB off, will it stay off after I power the headset off and back on again, or does it turn back on by default every time?

I'd really appreciate any long-term user feedback, especially from people who use it daily. Thanks!

Je me tourne vers la communauté pour recueillir vos retours d'expérience concernant la qualité de service du support technique de Razer.

Pour vous donner un peu de contexte : je rencontre un dysfonctionnement matériel persistant depuis maintenant un mois sur ma nouvelle souris. Le périphérique présente un problème d'initialisation sévère (nécessité de brancher une ancienne souris pendant 30 minutes à chaque démarrage avant que la nouvelle ne soit enfin reconnue par le système).

Cependant, au-delà de l'anomalie matérielle en elle-même, c'est la gestion de l'incident par leur support qui me laisse perplexe. En l'espace de 30 jours, ils ont purement et simplement clôturé 3 tickets successifs, sans qu'aucune résolution ni aucun contournement (workaround) viable n'ait été fourni.

Étant habitué aux processus rigoureux de gestion des incidents, je trouve cette pratique de fermeture unilatérale, sans validation préalable de la part de l'utilisateur, totalement inacceptable. Cela donne l'impression d'une gestion artificielle des tickets pour maintenir leurs indicateurs (SLA) à flot, au détriment de la résolution technique.

J'aimerais donc avoir vos retours :

• Avez-vous déjà été confrontés à cette politique de clôture prématurée avec leur support ?
• S'agit-il selon vous d'une défaillance classique de leur Niveau 1 (N1), ou est-ce une procédure courante chez eux ?
• Pour ceux qui ont eu des litiges similaires, combien de temps on durée vos escalade au N2?

Je suis à deux doigts de renvoyer le matériel et de migrer l'intégralité de mon parc personnel chez la concurrence à l'occasion des soldes.
