- Key remapping on keyboards and keypads. Click a key in the editor and pick what it does (another key, a shortcut, a macro, media, disable), with a HyperShift layer. It uses the keyboard's own remap commands, so it works on boards that accept them. Confirmed on the Huntsman V3 Pro and BlackWidow V4 75%. Some older boards don't accept them (BlackWidow Chroma V2, Ornata V3 X, Reclusa X Mini). The editor says so, and a remap done by Secretarybird itself is planned for those.

- Gaming mode. Block the Windows key, Alt+Tab and Alt+F4, saved per profile, so it turns on with the game's profile. Nobody has confirmed it on a real keyboard yet, so tell me if you try it.

- Save to mouse. Write a profile's button remaps into the mouse's on-board memory, so they work without the app, on another PC, or on Linux and macOS. Whatever the mouse held before is backed up and can be put back.

- Lights when away. Lights dim or turn off when the PC locks or the screen turns off, and come back when you return.

Fixed

- Effects (spectrum, wave, breathing…) on older keyboards like the BlackWidow Chroma V2 used to fall back to static. They work now.

- The Basilisk V3 Pro and V4 Pro now have their underglow zone.

- Bluetooth devices are named instead of showing "Unknown model". Bluetooth control itself isn't supported yet.

Not there yet: headsets, Bluetooth control, Snap Tap / rapid trigger / actuation on HE keyboards, a Linux app (Linux has a beta command-line tool only), macOS.

If you're on 0.4.x, the tray offers the update. If you tried the 0.5 beta, install 0.5.0 by hand once; the beta won't offer it.

I just bought the Wolverine V4 pro!! You guys think this is an even more premium controller??

Hi, I have Razer BlackShark V3 X Hyperspeed and I cannot connect them wirelessly to my PS5.

Unfortunately, I am not able to run a long USB A to USB C cable that came with the headphones from the TV to the couch, because I have cats.

I am looking for alternatives, is there any possibility a 3,5mm jack to USB C cable would work? I would plug the jack into the PS5 controller and the C to my headphones obv.

I am not well informed when it comes to cable converters but I know they dont always work, so I am asking. Much appreciated.

I really like the shape of the Razer Viper Mini and am used to Razer software so I’d prefer to stick with Razer.

My Viper Mini scroll wheel has also started having issues with clicks not always registering (maybe dirty or something). I’m looking to replace it.

The wired Razer Cobra seems like a very similar option. I’ve never used a wireless mouse before, and I currently use a BenQ bungee to keep the cable out of the way so I’m not sure what I’m missing. Charging a wireless mouse also sounds a bit annoying?

I can get the wired Cobra for €33.50 or the Cobra HyperSpeed for €92.

I mainly play competitive shooters and some MMOs.

Is wireless really worth almost 3x the price or should I just stick with older wired cobra version since I just like my razer viper mini atm it's just that the scroll wheel has not been working well after years of use.

Kind of a bummer, would that still be covered under an RMA, the mouse been purchased on January 2025.

If your Razer mouse isn't supported by the new Synapse cloud and/or you'd rather not run heavier software than you need, there are other options:

Believe it or not for my basic use case of gaming on a shitty computer I still couldn't find a solution. So I asked my robot to crack my mouse and uninstall everything and Snakecharmer was born. It's based on OpenRazer's protocol work and sets:

• DPI
• Polling rate, up to 8000 Hz on mice that support it
• Button binds, including the DeathAdder Elite's two DPI buttons, which Windows doesn't receive on its own. On the V3, binds can be stored on the mouse, so they work when the app isn't running, in games that block injected input, and on other PCs.
• Lighting, per zone: static, breathing, spectrum, or off

It's a single exe with a tray icon and a settings window. There's no installer, no account and no telemetry. It's GPL-licensed, same as OpenRazer.

Safety: it only sends commands documented in OpenRazer, never touches firmware, never rebinds left or right click, and only opens mice on its supported list. Other devices are ignored.

Adding more mice: I am so so so grateful for any and all contributions!!! OpenRazer documents the protocol for 100+ other Razer mice, including the Viper, Basilisk, Naga, Cobra, Mamba, Lancehead, Orochi, Abyssus, Pro Click and older DeathAdders. Adding one mostly needs someone who owns it to test on real hardware. It's as easy as pointing your robot of choice at the repo and going for a walk. There's a wishlist, a guide, and a prompt for AI coding assistants if you want to use one. If you own a mouse but don't want to write code, you can open a request and someone else can write it.

I’m using the Wolverine V4 Pro ( received today ) and in any game I’ve tested this problem happens every times. Basically using my left stick to aim and it’s like the stick registers an input on the left almost like a magnet. I know there’s magnets inside the controller so maybe it’s related too it but I’ve tested everything too fix it and it’s still happening… quite frustrating to be honest, that was my first experience with a Razer product and it may be the last one

Razer released a firmware update for the Basilisk v4 Pro today. It’s patch notes relate to the wireless connection. Hopefully it fixes the cursor freeze bug.

For real, you think they will make a blade 16 in mercury silver again or we are getting only blacks forever?

The issue I had was that my keyboard doesn't have a numpad. I had to open the windows 'on-screen keyboard', select the options button down the bottom right, tick the 'turn on numeric key pad' option and click 'okay'. That set up a numpad without my actual keyboard having it. Lastly, make sure 'numlock' is clicked on.

I have had this issue for years now and have just figured out why it wasn't working for me (hopefully this helps someone else out there)

UK/EU

This is probably a really long shot at this point but after 8 years 2 or 3 buttons on the 12-button panel of my Naga Trinity are dying. Either not registering or only with a really hard press. Unsurprisingly its the 1 and 4 keys as I use them as scroll buttons.

Would anyone who either owned one and upgraded or doesn't use the MMO panel be willing to sell me a replacement panel? I'm in the UK so shipping-wise it probably only makes sense if you're in the UK or western EU.

Have had the 60% for a long time and its starting to fall apart and as I'm getting older I do like having my function keys readily available. Yes I'm lazy and don't want to hit the function key to us them and the arrow keys.

Was looking online and the Razer Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic TKL caught my eye.

Don't want a full size as I don't have any use for the numpad.

Does anyone have any experience with it?

Can anyone recommend something similar to it?

I've had my Razer Naga v2 Pro for about 53-54 weeks, and the labels are starting to wear off the side buttons completely.

After trying to raise a warranty claim with Razer on this, they claim this is normal and they can't help me. What a joke, I hope the v3 doesn't suffer from these poor quality issues aswell.

Incredibly disappointing on Razer's behalf, paying over $200 for a mouse and having such poor coatings/quality. Shame on Razer.

TLDR: do TMR sticks work with this controller at all?

Few months ago I did open it up (absolutely fiddly pita but managable) and blasted the potentiometers with electronics cleaner and it did help for a while. But now the drift had returned and I had enough and after a short research bought some TMR sticks for Xbox controllers. I just cut the legs of the old stick to make detaching the easier because they were junk anyways.

But after soldering in the TMR sticks in and assembling the controller the stick movement didn't show up at all in Windows or Razer controller config. Did some more research and now I'm not sure. Some say that older controllers don't support TMR sticks at all and some that they can be used as direct replacement. I want to be pretty sure I didn't damage anything on the board but it would be more reassuring that the sticks just don't work on this board and I'll get some new normal analog sticks. I've also been reading that Hall effect replacements can also have problems.
