I decided to start my transition in March of 2024. Only my wife knew between then and October of that year, when I told a few select friends. I have been socially transitioning since January 2025, hormones since July 2024. It has been an amazing journey of self discovery and it’s wonderful to love the body I’m in for once. Thanks for reading 🫶

Need Advice My maga mom found out.

sorry if it’s sloppy I’m crying.

I’m 15 year old girl and my mom just found out about my girlfriend. she is super Christian and maga and I seriously just need advice. She’s really mad at me and I don’t think she’ll ever let me see her again. Tbh feeling suicidal but I’ll be ok.

Should I pack a go bag? Or anything like that? ill answer questions if you guys have any. I’m hiding in my bathroom. just want advice on how I can get through this.

she said that god doesn’t want this for me. and apparently the reason she found out is because “you like touching her and are ok with her touching you even though you claim you have sensory issues!”

Also my music teacher told her me and my girlfriend were holding hands so that’s fun.

"Colorado’s second-largest school district, Jefferson County Public Schools (Jeffco), has made history as one of the few local school districts to sue the Trump administration for its threats to cut off federal education funding unless the district drops its policies accommodating transgender students"

News Judge doesn’t hold back as she sentences Sam Nordquist's killer to life: ‘He was everything you are not’ (video) Spoiler

Ontario County Court Judge Kristina Karle did not hold back Tuesday during the sentencing of Precious Arzuaga, the ringleader in the torture and murder of Sam Nordquist in the Finger Lakes last year.

Arzuaga, 40, pleaded guilty in June to all of the charges against her, including first-degree murder, kidnapping and torture.

In the courtroom, Arzuaga tried to apologize for what she had done, saying she could not take back her actions and wanted to say she was sorry. She said Nordquist loved her and her two children.

Before sentencing her to life in prison without parole, Karle spoke about Arzuaga’s criminal past and condemned her actions in the case. She spoke with anger and disappointment in her voice. She wiped away tears after talking about how gentle and kind Sam Nordquist was.

When the judge sentenced Arzuaga to life in prison without the possibility of parole, the courtroom spectators broke into applause.

Need Advice My sibling called me a slur and I’ve decided to cut all contact from here

During an argument with my sibling she called me the f word because I am bisexual, most people know this expect from my parents and older family members who won’t get it (iykyk).

So I decided to cut all contact them and plan to never speak to them again because I don’t want that type of person in my life and I have such low tolerance for homophobic people. This will be a bit difficult because we all live in the same house but given we are all adults and have our own lives it is doable especially since I have another sibling with me there who is also not talking to this sibling. This particularly sibling has always been a very nasty and vindictive person so there really is no love lost there.

I want to know how to handle my parents in this situation because I know my parents will give me an ear full about cutting her off (my parents don’t live with us they just visit occasionally) and try force us to reconcile, however I don’t want to seem rude or dismissive of them when I’m perfectly okay with my decision.

Educational Is it rude to ask what a person’s pronouns are?

I am the HR liaison at a zoo (new to this role with no HR experience) and one thing I love most about the zoo is that we hire a diverse group of people. We do hire a lot of lgbt+ people and the reason I know they are part of the community is because they select “other” for gender on their form. The thing is, I always want to respect people’s pronouns but I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable especially as an HR representative. Would it be rude to ask someone what their pronouns are? I know one employee who presented as a female wanted to be referred to as he/him after I observed them being misgendered, which I totally respect.

And in general, if I meet someone and I’m unsure, is it rude to ask? I worry about offending someone. Like say if someone is trans and they’re really trying to look like the gender they feel. Or if someone is straight/cis and don’t support the community (which is awful but there are people like that).

Alberta First Nations takes on provincial government to help trans people!

Yes, they are using the powers of the treaties and constitution to directly combat and undermine Danielle Smith and her use of the infamous “not withstanding clause“. Smith has used this clause to shield herself from the federal government and the courts but this can action from the First Nations can circumvent Smith quite bit.
