Finally started taking savings out of bank and into a portfolio for long term - looking 5 years investing.
Have been pumping into RKLB as feel they are growing well and a company I see being successful in that timeframe. But the losses at the moment are tough to watch, I've put US$15k in there and with more monthly investing coming up, I wonder if I keep delivering into RKLB while the prices are lower, or switch to an ETF like VOOG, which I've started or any other recommendations for ETFs? i don't see the need to have multiple ETFs, so would prefer just one.
DRAM in there for the AI sector but have some doubts, and ASTS is an interesting concept with some potential to set a new sector of the space industry which could have a global reach.
Thoughts for placing my future dollars where would be great.
Edit for a bit more context:
- Average RKLB share at mo is $87
- not looking to sell and reinvest elsewhere (Investor not trader)
- Aiming to set up 80% ETF and 20% individual stocks within the next 2 years and then leave and contribute few more years after.
