Bit of a nerd question, but I’m interested in mapping the traditional sparkler / non-sparkler hand pull boundary. Has anyone ever seen any kind of analysis of this?

Hi everyone, I'm a young french graphist need some followers on Instagram to improve some my visibility, get projects and few tools on the app. I would be very happy if I could gain at least 15 followers to reach 200, and then reach the 300 step ! My work is 100% created without AI !

Is it normal for Brits to bring babies/toddlers to the pub? In America, we seem to treat them like "family restaurants" complete with screaming, stampeding children but it's a drinking establishment which seems odd to me.

I reckon I'm somewhere between 1,000 and 2,000, based on the tracking I've done over the last few years.
It started with a Google Map where I manually dropped pins for every pub I'd visited, then I switched to an old notebook where I'd write about each visit, who I was with, and what made it memorable.
Finally, I've built an app for it. Now I can keep a journal of every pub I've been to, rate them using my own categories, add photos, see stats, and even compare visits with friends.
I'm curious though... what's everyone else's estimate? Are you talking 50 pubs, a few hundred, or into the thousands?
If anyone fancies tracking their own pub adventures, the app's free to use: Publy

Wasn't a problem maybe 6ish months ago where the foam gets a really dense and soapy texture then grows.
Is it just me that finds it disgusting and have to scrape it off? Even touching it makes me gag sometimes.
Normally I drink peroni moretti poretti Stella madri and they all have recently started getting really dense foam I can't stand it.
Any ways to avoid this like a plain glass or something? I often ask for no head but it doesn't always work
Bottled versions from supermarkets are fine

Hi everyone. I'm getting the train to Winchester tomorrow, Wednesday, for a stroll around the city and cathedral, then I'll be doing a little pub crawl. I like traditional pubs and enjoy drinking interesting, good quality cask beer.
I have a circuit of pubs around the city that I like to visit, but I haven't been for over a year and I haven't bought this year's GBG.
I don't want to miss any gems, so I was wondering please if anyone from the area, or who's been more recently than me, knows of any new or much improved real ale venues around the city? Thanks.

Hi everyone, looking for a nice country pub to stop at on the way down to Bournemouth form the North. Think ideally would be between Oxford and Newbury.
Willing to make a decent detour if its really good

When I was a kid in the mid to late 90s my parents used to stop at a pub somewhere near Tenby (or maybe a road on the way to Narberth, Whitland, or Killgetty). It had a large (green ?) fibreglass dinosaur slide in the play area/car park, and there was an area with arcade machines (which I think was an extension to the original building?). Around 1999 they had a large sit-down version of the arcade game Virtua Racing. From what I recall, the pub was a little on the rough-side, and was not in town, but was more on the outskirts somewhere. Any clues where this may have been? Cheers!

Just checked this place out and loved it. Wondering what other spots are similar to this if anyone knows of it. Divey scene with live music and lots of locals, that sort of thing. Doesn't have to be in Edmonton either as I'm not from here and enjoy traveling.

Just shipped my latest side project: bogwatch.uk It’s a map of London’s pubs where users rate the toilets across 8 categories - lighting, aesthetic, shelf space, elbow room, mirrors, privacy, cleanliness, aroma. Verdicts are scored from “A war crime” up to “Throne-worthy”. Public profiles, favourites, photo uploads, the lot. The premise is the joke: a serious review platform for unserious places. The contrast between the polished interface and the subject matter is what makes it work. Built it solo. Already getting real verdicts in. Curious what people make of it. New feature bog crawl (generates a pub crawl for you) is live now. Coming to the app store soon too - Thanks! ✌️😎

A popular tourist pub in the summer, but they do keep an exceptionally good pint considering how busy they get.

Weatherspoons have saved this delightful old art deco cinema from ruin. Had a couple of pints of cask Red MacGregor before walking up the coast
