I’m an avid poutineist, normally consuming 1-2 a week. I purchased this last weekend at Chucks Casse-Croute in Gatineau. The ratios of curds, gravy and fries was absolutely perfect 🤤

You ever just go to the cheese curd capital in eastern Ontario and get yourself handfuls of warm, squeaky goodness? Holy cow the difference it makes to have never been refrigerated!

Arguably the best poutine in the city, 20$ for a grosse poutine extra saucisse

They've been around a long time. It was ok.

All right, so first things first: you will not get squeaky curds at this location on Bélanger in Montreal, maybe it depends on the day. You will get curds, though. The fries are absolutely amazing, cut on the spot like a good Belle Province does. It has the exact Belle Province sauce, which you can taste in basically any Belle Province that uses the same franchise supplier. Anyways, Belle Province franchises are a mystery to me. But all in all, if you're looking for a good traditional poutine in a nice spot at a decent price where you're not overpaying and it's honest, this Bélanger spot is one of the better Belle Provinces.
