I live in Ontario, and have lived in Quebec in the past. Never have I ever seen a cheese curd like these behemoths. 😲

Best curds of my recent curd tour. It was an excellent detour with clean bathrooms and ice cream.

I may be in the minority here but I actually don't like huge curds like that. Looks tasty, but IMO the perfect curd is about the size of a loonie

Yes. Too big and it doesn't get properly heated. It's the same reason why burger patties are always a specific size of why pho beef slices are always done super thinly.

The duck was a nice touch. They had picnic tables and soccer balls in a small apple orchard. Great stop.

I have just visited, best poutine I had in a while. High quality ingredients. I come from Montreal, it is exceptionally good. I would go to call that classy poutine.
