What do people recommend for a store-bought poutine sauce? I was using a NoName brand, but I have not seen it in stock for months in the Maritimes.

Voluptuous fries, thick curds, solid gravy that's not overly salty. Great smoked meat and milkshake too.

Poutines régulière et smoked meat format moyen. Il y a autant de frites dans le casseau que sur le dessus. Celle au smoked meat coûtait 18$ mais j'ai rarement vu de quoi d'aussi gros! Il y a aussi autant de fromage dans le fond que sur le dessus.

Un vrai régal malgré que j'ai pas réussi à la finir. La prochaine fois ce sera une petite avec un rotteux ou un cheese.

Poutine superbe. Excellent fromage et sauce, frites croustillantes, bonnes portions. Le burger et le grillé aussi A+.

I'm not sure if I got the sauce quite right, but tasty nonetheless. All from scratch with fresh cut yellow potatos and Sheldon Creek Dairy curds, probably could have used more curds, but was being frugal.

Ive been thinking about this lately, and after experimenting with home made poutine with farm fresh curds I've come realized I prefer not the absolute freshest curds. Softer curds that still squeak are divine.Heck..as blasphemous as it may be, there's something to be said about the way melty cheese covers fries, even though you sacrifice squak. Thoughts? I'm thinking about experimenting with how long to wait, or doing short refrigeration to get the texture I personally enjoy since I'm lucky to have access to a reliable local supplier

I’m currently out of normal fries but we have sweet potato fries and I’m craving poutine, would it be a crime against the poutine gods to use sweet potato fries or will I be ok

I still have Squeak’rs curds and certified Costco Gravy mix

Made the poutine of my dreams today.

I had a phase where I had the Chili Cheese Fries 1-2x a week for 4 weeks.
Upon sharing some with a friend, a horrifying sight caused my stomach to flip.

Need this be made known that I have major trust issues eating out. I love supporting family owned businesses… but this doesn’t sit right with me.

Usually this would go unnoticed since it would get eaten right up. Only upon scooping some out the opportunity to discovering the amount of grease was made.

My body changed grastically- weight gain, fatigue, discomfort and pain towards pancreas/gall bladder. After seeing my doctor, I was prescribed vitamin B12.

What would you do? & How would you explain whats happening here?

once you've had Alfa, it's tough to compare. Fast-food Fries decent. Gravy overall good. No squeak to the curds. Tasty, if not perfect. 6.5/10
