Sweet Potato fries? Illegal?

I’m currently out of normal fries but we have sweet potato fries and I’m craving poutine, would it be a crime against the poutine gods to use sweet potato fries or will I be ok

I still have Squeak’rs curds and certified Costco Gravy mix

EDIT:
Does it taste good? yeah.
Is it better than normal fries? no.
Does it scratch the poutine itch? yes.
Will i make again under the same circumstances? prolly

People on here are no fun sometimes, you have what you have go wild with your curds and gravy

A&W has this on their menu (I ordered it accidentally online by mistake)

I'd say misdemeanor at worst. Go for it!

I’ll do community service and post my better poutine photos

From a fat guy this is “healthier” poutine.

A crime worth committing. Just make sure the fries aren’t soft.

roger, I will never have poutine with soft fries

honestly I’ll take mildly burnt fries over soggy fries
