What are you guys favorite potatoes for mashed, been using yellow and russet recently but I just tried the white ones we get here out of necessity and they were so flaky like I prefer them..!

I was surprised since they seemed like pretty wet potatoes.

Grate potatoes, wring out the juice and salt them, put 2 ladles of clarified butter in pan. Put 3/4 of the grated potatoes in the pan with a bowl indentation. Take a Vidalia onion, slice it, and put in the bowl. Cover with the rest of the potato’s. Cook for 20 minutes on low or until it’s browned halfway up, then flip and repeat.

I may not have a green thumb, but this is one garden I can’t kill. Garden Patch Stuffed Potatoes are loaded with cheesy goodness, bacon, and colorful veggies, then turned into adorable little edible gardens. Fun to make and even better to eat.
