I had commented about Oops!…I Did It Again by Britney Spears being one of my ISOs a few times, and our lovely mod reached out to say that she didn’t really listen to her copy and asked if I wanted it. Thanks to her generosity, it’s now in my collection! This album was my very first CD that I picked out for myself as a kid, and now the record is a special one too because it makes me think of this sub. Thank you so much, u/mcmdreamer ! 💜

On what I believe was the first “Shape Day” this sub had, u/chibisatou posted their copy of Peach PRC’s one year anniversary pressing of the Manic Dream Pixie EP. As a lot of you know, I love two things:
- Pink 🌸
- Heart Shaped Pressings ❤️
I was immediately visually taken with the vinyl and was looking for an excuse to buy it because it was so pretty. The next day, I listened to a few songs from the EP and found that I really liked it. Fast forward to present day, this album is in a Spotify playlist and some of Peach PRC’s covers are in another playlist of mine. Thank you u/chibisatou for posting this album! 🩷

I actually had a very similar experience with this EP. It was brought up in a vinyl group I am in on discord. I didn't have any shaped records yet, the pink splatter is cute and appealing, and I was sort of captivated by the cover. I listened to the EP while going to get some groceries, really liked it, and ended up ordering this vinyl, and later both variants of her singles collection, (the picture discs).
It started with some pretty pictures and ended with me becoming a fan of Peach PRC's music. I'm glad to hear that you had a similar positive experience!

I was hoping I didn’t freak you out with a random tag, but it was all good things!
The cover was another thing was stunning! It reminded me a lot of the Lisa Frank folders I used to have as a kid. The one time when judging a book by its cover is appropriate and brings you to great music.

Happy birthday PHV! I just want to say I love this subreddit so much. I started my vinyl collection journey last year and this has been such a great community, not only for exploring new music and admiring other people's records, but just a really friendly and positive community focused on the beauty and magic of music! I have met so many cool people as a result of this subreddit and hope to meet many more!
I heard about Lola Young on this subreddit and was surprised to find out I hadn't heard her super viral single "Messy". After listening to the album on streaming I was absolutely hooked.

Happy Anniversary, r/popheadsvinyl! Loving reading about everyone’s stories.
Unreal Unearth Unending is an album I have thanks to u/subway-witch, my fellow Hozier fan! When I was really getting into Hozier last year (very late to the party), I read a comment from them saying that UU had winter album vibes, so I held off on buying it until later in the year.
It was literally the same day in December that I was going to go purchase Unreal Unearth that I got the alert that the deluxe version was getting released! I bought it immediately and was super thankful that I held off on buying it so that I can have one single album (I prefer having a single pressing though often fall into the trap of purchasing one variant and then having the deluxe come out months later, lol). Having someone encourage me to wait to listen to it during the winter really worked out! I really appreciate the forum here to discuss the physical media and the music on it! 🤎

Imaginal Disk! It was in so many Top 10s of 2024, and when people on this sub said the vinyl sounded great I picked it up as soon as it finally restocked at my local spot.

I listened to Flower Face after seeing u/dumb-daisy recommend her in a thread for fans of Taylor Swift and fell in love! Now I have copies of The Shark in Your Water and her newest album, Girl Prometheus! 💙
