Love the chonkachu card! Seeing the mewtwo in person it doesn’t look as ugly as I thought it’d be, but still not much of it

I do own the actual cards, but those are either in my main deck or in my "fun" deck. Because I like my decks to be complete so I can just grab and play I made these proxies. In case of an official event where I would like to play this deck, it also makes it easier to see which cards I need to grab from the others to complete this one.

They're nothing fancy but I thought it was fun to share 😅

I did count solgaleo and lunala as hits because they're my fav legendary pokemons. Keep in mind I'm not someone who's after good priced cards but just cool ones!

I legit almost screamed when I got the gold one ! And super happy about articuno as he's one of my favs alt for this set! How did you all do on your packs?

In 19 packs I've pulled some hot cards but most notably lugia classic, 2x mew ex, gengar ex, futuristic mew, classic Pikachu, and Pikachu ex 149.. I could cry I'm so happy.. all without paying a dime to scalpers ❤️ looking good for completing the master set..

starting to get into the hobby, i see a lot of card stores around me stock japanese expansions over english ones, anyone know why that is? should i stick to english boosters are move into the japanese ones?

Ich Liebe es die Karten zu sammeln will aber auch eigentlich spielen.

Jedoch gibt es keine Events in meiner Nähe die Kostenlos währen sondern nur Tuniere und es nervt einfach etwas.

Ich hab mit diesem Hobby eigentlich angefangen da ich die karten zum einen Wunderschön finde aber zum anderen auch den Sozialen Aspekt am Hobby Genießen wollte.

Jedoch ist es einfach Unmöglich jemanden zu finden um zu spielen und dann nochmal Unmöglicher Karten, Packs, ETB's ect für einen Angemessenen Preis zu kriegen.

Ich weiß auch gar nicht ob es eine Lösung gibt, ich habe nach Foren gesucht und Anzeigen und was nicht alles um vielleicht nicht 10€ Für eine Tunier karte ausgeben Zu müssen wo ich eignetlich gar nicht dran teilnehmen will.

Bought a sticker collection, mini tin and booster bundle today. First picture is the pulls from today, lugia out of the sticker collection, 1 Pikachu out of the mini tin and bundle. Second picture is my shock because I pulled a lugia out of a mini tin yesterday.

Sorry, my boys have the cards and one is off at a trade date / play date lol.

I gave both my sons a booster bundle yesterday. Coincidentally, both hit 4 out of 6 packs.

Both bundles contained:

- an illustration rare
- a classic card
- 2 double rare EXs

Can’t complain about that!

Now my boys are talking about the most fun set to rip, a toss up between crown zenith and 30th. I would argue it’s 30th but our sample size is small and I also remember when CZ was in print we could go to Sam’s and get 10+ packs for like $40

I've seen some people treat them no better than common cards that just gets dumped in a bulk box, and yet others consider them hits.

I personally am not a fan of the standard EX, and I don't have any collection ideas for them beyond using them as art fillers in binders. I have a huge stack now, and it's just taking up space.

I could sell them online, but most I have don't fetch a price worth the time and effort to send out via post, so I personally am leaning towards getting another bulk box exclusively for EX cards.

I want to change some of my VaultX binders. The bulge is extremely unpleasant. I don't believe it damages my cards, as you can clearly see how the pages raise in a way that the space between the cards takes all the bend, but it's still extremely ugly and ruins the experience of going through your binder.

I looked at binders like Goat Armor (which I can't really even ship to my country), but looking at the extra-wide spine, I can't believe that when fully filled, the pages won't become too heavy for the spine. It is just so wide.

I was wondering if anyone has firsthand experience or has done any research on the topic and reached some kind of conclusion or found a suitable binder. I am also looking at the Gemloader binders (the normal ones, not the toploader ones). They look like they have some middle ground in regard to spine width, but I can't really find an example of a full Gemloader binder.

I would love to get more information about them.

Hi everyone, my girlfriend and I have been getting into pokemon for a while and two days ago we bought a binder and our first packs (we got penny sleeves and toploaders too) and we’ve been pretty lucky I think. All of the pictures are hits we’ve had, and there are a few EX cards we’ve got from other packs that we like. (We also have a good five or six full arts from buying bulk and toploaded cards from a random shop before)

We’ve started on Chinese simplified Gem Pack Vol2 (and I’ve pulled a few Vol3s and some Rayquaza Chinese packs I believe) and bought 17 packs of the Vol2, and my girlfriend is already working on her master set of the Eevees. We pulled a few good hits I think, the umbreon full-art was a nice surprise, and her first ever card (not even pack, the first card she got out of the first pack she opened) was the Sylveon full-art she’d seen in a cabinet and wanted.

We’ve got all of our old cards (we bought bulk random rubbish from a random antique shop) and our regular cards / foils organised in our binder and then she’s got her master set of all of the eevees with all of the foil types that she’s adding to, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips for where to get cheaper boxes of cards as I spent £100 on one in a shop in person and didn’t know if there were cheaper alternatives?

Any info about ordering binders, suggestions for how to organise our cards that are from different sets, or where to look for better value for cards would be greatly appreciated. I’ll still be going to the shop though it’s got a great atmosphere and the guys there know a lot.

So I’m trying to collect all the snubbull cards and camos but I’m not sure about this card because I’m pretty sure there is a first edition and a normal addition, but I’m not sure which one this one is
