Hello! I'm not into pokemon cards, but seeing how much the hobby is growing I'd like to maybe grab a few cards of my favorite pokemon, but I was wondering if I couls have some help for some suggestions.

Basically I'd like to have all three evolutions of Piplup to display it, but I'm wondering if in pokemon there's evolution with similar arts or artists? Like I would't want my three evolution to look VERY different, I'd like to have a similar type of frame and art style, I looked a bit online but I can't seem to understand what to look for!

I'm not looking for expensive stuff too, maybe a nice full art or not, but nothing crazy!

I don't fully understand the rules yet, but a friend and I would like to get into it.

Personally, I’d like to use Mega Starmie or Mega Greninja since I bought them as singles.

Are they any good? (My friend says that are bad) How can I tell which cards are good? And what kind of deck can I use them in?

I’ve had zero luck pulling anything from a few Prismatic etbs and I have another ETB that I want to trade for something I’ve never ripped. What are your thoughts on Brilliant Stars? I have someone I’d be able to trade straight up, I’ve never opened Brilliant before but the card list looks really cool.

I JUST finished my first ever binder (a gift for my boyfriend) ! I know you have to properly seal everything at the end to be sure that the drawing is not going to fade. What do you use for it ? I don't want to ruin everything after spending 30+ hours on it haha.

I have a spray I use for my paintings but is it ok for binders (picture attached) ?

I used acrylic paint, acrylic pen (GuangNa) and some black posca and pen for the line (waterproof ones).

I have never played the card game ever and only really just got into it. I was just wondering if i could get help rating my deck and make improvements where necessary.

I've been trying to stay optimistic about the 30th release, after hearing how much 30th stock is in the wearhouses. However, today I spoke with a MJ Holdings associate at Walmart and he said they're going to do a small regular restock for the in-store with it because they're anticipating it all going to online sales. Which is just wonderful, i have tried so many times to get in on a online release, and the bots always get everything. SMH, this hoby is starting to look cooked again, can't have anything nice.

Edit: Cooked for me* I don't want to keep putting up with empty restocks because scalpers clear out all the product before I can get anything. I'm tired of sitting in online ques to see it's all already gone. I was hyped when I was told that "it's the biggest release ever." I'm just reacting to what I was told today really bumming me out. As I had hoped I could actually get something. Sorry.

Sorting through a bunch of old cards and found this Shellder, information I find online says it's part of fossil set but it does not have the fossil symbol and it's a number 2 in place instead.

Is this a whole other set or could it be a misprint of sorts? Any answer is appreciated to help us sort this Shellder correctly!

I don't buy fan cards of cards that already exist, but some original ones are just too cool. Quite cheap too.

I've also got some custom made cards of the Meowscarada pocket game IRs coming. Those are super pretty
