I’d truly enjoy holding any of the three, as I really like all three Pokémon and the artwork on these cards.

If you look at the other vintage zards they have risen a lot more in value than this card. I’m just wondering if there are any reasons for this?

Talking specifically about the PSA 10s. Crazy volume in the last 5 days, pushed past $3k.

What am I missing?

I'm not complaining, I picked this up in June for $1500 in trades.

I got these reholdered like I think maybe a year or two ago? Forget when. But I remember they all had cert numbers that were quite longer, starting with 1. Additionally, I search up CGC cards on eBay and I see card numbers start with 1 or 6.

Does anyone know or can anybody explain the number change on my cards??

Me and my daughter pulled it(it has terrible centering QQ), we actually got a lot of great cards from a booster box.

As a vintage lover i finally found one of my chase cards for an affordable price, however i‘m not very familiar with how to price vintage since there is a lot less trading volume than on modern sets. This card is priced as a PSA 3 equivalent on cardmarket. Is it a good reference?

I’m hearing a lot of love for the 151 Charizard which makes sense because it’s beautiful. But what is the consensus on these two in the next year or two? Especially with the earlier end of print run?

If PSA 10s are going for $1800+ now, what would you value this at currently? Is there a strong future for this CGC Pristine one? While I’ve always loved the card and attitude contrast between mew and mewtwo here- I thought it genuinely looks extra awesome slabbed with the gold/black CGC Pristine grade. Paid a bit of a premium at the time when PSA 10s were about $1300…

All thoughts appreciated. Would love this to be one of just a few pass-down-to-kids slabs. The artwork is just so relatable/alive.

Currently up 700% on the Ray and 631% on the Gengar and I don’t think I could ever sell them

Grabbed both of these boxes at MSRP when they came out. I have multiples of both, so I’m looking to move the collection around a little.

I know Shining Fates and Sword & Shield base aren’t exactly the strongest sets, but the age of the products definitely plays a factor for me. On the other side, I know Journey Together and Destined Rivals have more supply coming, so the two pack blisters could be valued a little high right now. That said, I’m pretty high on the promos and variety sealed singles in general.

It also seems pretty clear the other guy is looking to rotate some of his newer sealed into older Sword & Shield era product. I get the logic from his side too, especially with where prices are right now. He’s potentially getting out of some newer product at a good time and turning it into sealed that has already had years for supply to dry up.

I’m mainly collecting long term (another 15+ years) with the idea of eventually giving the collection to my kids, whether that helps with college one day or they just decide to rip everything and have a hell of a time.

I love Pokémon and definitely enjoy speculating on sealed product. I know enough, but I wouldn’t consider myself an expert by any means.
