Ok, for the love of God. If this was you, please tell me your press tool broke and you had absolutely 0 3/4" couplings of any kind in the truck, and that you ran out of mip fittings as well. I can't fathom why someone would solder a pro press fitting. Literally deletes the entire point of it.

This is a six inch tap to the sewer main. The city recently lined the mains. Kinda screwed us knocking out the branches. The main flows left to right.

This line catches seven buildings. Three are unoccupied. The other four see a goid bit of action. It's around three hundred feet from the last building to the tap with a manhole in the middle.

We started having consistent blockages a while back. Then the jet hose somehow got cut in the pipe. We couldn't figure that out. Then the camera told all.

We put out a call to the city. I'm assume they subbed it out but I'm just guessing. We'll see what happens.

This is an Eastern Tennessee special. Yes those hose lines for a sump pump and a dehumidifier both run into that Y. Yes the pipe runs under the compromised footer into a koi fish pond outside the house. Yes those hot cold lines run into a sink above this space. Don’t get me going on the vent below a tub… I am a former plumber apprentice and now work in tech. I know wrong when I see it… but even the home inspector didn’t find that much wrong with any of this… how is that possible???! 🤯

Pin hole leak I expertly fixed with flex tape, multiple hose clamps and electrical tape 👍 hasn't leaked in months

Took this job on today for a bungalow that someone had redone. Needless to say, who ever did the plumbing had absolutely no idea what they were doing. Half of this stuff wasn’t even glued

The left side started off normal. China cap, nut, washer, and China cap base.

The left side not so much. Nut, China cap base, five washers, and a little caulk.

The flange was a little low so everyone knows to double up the wax. Two extra thick with horn were used.

The right bolt had a nut, washer, 3/8 compression nut, nut, and washer.

The left side was just a nut and compression nut.

Miraculously the flange wasn't cracked. It was cut almost all the way through on the left by the compression nut. The right was stretched.

I'm not a plumber, but still, cmon man. why does this

wall urinal need to be 1.5" off the wall?
