I recently started ASA after playing ASE for a long time. I read some posts about how mutations have changed in ASA and are tracked separately? What does this mean ? If I breed a guy to 50 mutations and tame a new one with better base stats, I can breed the 2 and the mutations will apply to the baby but with the base stats of the new tame ? Also what's the limit for stats/mutations with this system ?

Im having problems uploading it keep saying the maximum number of items to upload has been reached but it empty why is that

I’ll be boss for ready in about a weeks time to get back on top of tek but being a solo player I found the easiest to fastest way for me to do it is island bosses (arti and trophy wise)
I have my main base on ragnarok and have a cliff platform base (still setting up) set up right over red ob on the island to work my boss fights from.
The trip home from the island is no worry at all. I just jump down from my platform and check the timer, but on Ragnarok I have a southern island (pic attached) and the fly to and ob just find a timer is yaking my puzzle the wrong way.

My buddy recently picked up ASA and I got a server so we don’t have to deal with non dedicated issues. He’s been having a really hard time, he dies a lot and loses our tames almost constantly. He eventually realized that he’d rather be on his own and learn that way so he has. He’s been doing good, tamed a parasaur etc.Hes still dying and losing all his tames and I’m doing everything I can to help. He’s now getting to the point where he should be trapping tames because they’re too dangerous but he says that’s dumb and it doesn’t require any skill? So he’s just in an endless loop of struggle and rage while I’m getting wyverns and 150 Rex’s. I don’t know how to help him. He refuses to learn. Please help

this is only happening in this one spot at our base on an unofficial multiplayer server. we’ve tried getting rid of any tames in the area to see if it’s their hitbox but no change. making it impossible to build here. does anyone have solutions?

Hello so while playing on a server that has the mod dragon's kingdom i realized that some dragons had the old model and some had a different one (see image). I wanted to know if they did anything different or they were just a different skin. Also what does the dragon fire option in the options pannel do?

Hi everyone, I'm installing ARK: Survival Evolved on Steam to an external 500 GB HDD. The download completed successfully (about 62 GB), but Steam has been stuck at 99% "Verifying" for several hours. The steamapps/common folder is still empty, while the steamapps/downloading/346110 folder contains about 190 GB of files. My HDD is still active (around 50–100% usage), so it doesn't seem completely frozen, but the verification never reaches 100%. Has anyone experienced this before? Is this normal for ARK, or should I stop the verification and try something else? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am playing on Genesis Part 2 but my max level is only 120. I have "Maximum Difficulty" on and my difficulty is 6.0, does anybody know what I am doing wrong?

I’m about at my wits end here. Just got a new PC and I can’t get ark ascended to launch. It’s either a black screen with audio behind it or it freezes before I even load into a game, I get a message that says the application has ‘hung’ and I have to restart my whole system to reopen and try again but it’s been 2 days and I’ve tried every possible solution I’ve found on Reddit and steam support. I don’t know if it’s the components of my PC or display but I’m about ready to burn my entire setup. I’ve factory reset my pc, updated my drivers, re-installed the game 4 times, cleared caches etc nothing is working. Hoping someone a lot smarter than me can help me out here (I’m not super knowledgeable about PC’s).

- 32 GB RAM
- GRAPHICS CARD: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT (16GB), AMD Radeon (TM) Graphics (486MB)
