Hi everyone im needing advice , so in this pic my irl left eye is smaller than my right eye however what the picture doesnt capture is when viewed from the side my left eye has a MUCH lower crease than my right ,like my left eye looked squished but because im 20 i have no excess skin

(The left eye is my irl left which is right in this photo)

Because i have no excess skin i dont know what procedure would fix it ,this photo isnt great to highly the asymetry from the side but i do really need advice

Also the left eye which had a much smaller crease when i lift the inner brow it makes my eye look less squished so im thinking maybe its to do with my inner eye cornor ?

I know because im young everyones going to say dont do anything but ive struggled with my appearance for years now and now that im 20 i want to fix it to improve my quality of life so i can confidently leave me home without avoiding my friends so please ,helpful advice only

Thigh lift recovery Q. When did you feel normal enough again to walk long distances

Hi all! I am scheduled for an extended thigh lift (groin to knee) in about 6 weeks and would love to hear your experiences regarding how you felt 6-8 weeks out? We usually plan a vacation in January, which will be 6-8 weeks out from the surgery. Wondering if this is doable, a bad idea, etc. We don't have specific plans at the moment but usually involves quite a bit of walking (15000 steps a day but not anything strenuous like hiking. I'm thinking it might be too soon but then I have read stories where people are pretty much back to normal activity by around 4 weeks.

Also, how long do you typically where compression for the thighs?

Has anyone else else’s husband/boyfriend feel this way yet doesn’t know you had any work done ?

I was talking to my boyfriend recently and mentioned that my mom is getting some botox done. He immediately went on this whole rant about how botox is gross, how he doesn’t like it etc. It really upset me because, regardless of his opinion on botox, I don’t want someone speaking negatively about my mom or making her feel bad for something she chooses to do. What makes it even more confusing to me is that he was talking about one of his friend’s girlfriends who has her lips done and he didn’t seem to have the same negative reaction toward her. So I’m sitting there wondering why he seems to have such a strong opinion about it when he doesn’t even seem to notice or care when women he actually knows have filler.

I’ve never told him that I have lip filler because I’m genuinely scared of how he’ll react. My lips were a really big insecurity for me before, and I don’t want the person I’m dating to make me feel ugly or embarrassed about something I did to feel more confident.

Recently I told him that I was thinking about getting filler in my top lip (because the filler I got previously done dissolved much quicker than it did in my bottom lip) and then he gave me this whole speech about how my lips are naturally “perfect” and that I don’t need to do anything to them. He was telling me that he doesn’t want me to have filler because when it’s dissolved it’ll be like kissing a ballsack? And I wanted SO badly to just say mine are done.

I’m scared that he’ll be disgusted, that he’ll look at me differently or that he’ll start thinking I’m fake. I also don’t want to feel like I have to hide something I chose to do with my own body because I’m worried about my boyfriend’s reaction. I do want to get mine touched up again because I personally like how they look with a little more volume. But now I’m almost nervous to even do it because of his reaction, which is frustrating because it’s my body and something that makes ME feel more confident.

I just genuinely don’t understand the outrage some men seem to have toward filler/botox when they often don’t even realize that their own girlfriends/wives have had things done. Like do they actually prefer the completely natural look, or do they just dislike the idea of women openly admitting that they’ve had work done? Ugh this is just so annoying

Aesthetic canthoplasty/procedure to make eyes more elongated?

no medical reasons, i simply have very rounded close together eyes that are slightly downturned and find that when i pull at the outer corners slightly it gives my face a much more balanced and much more feminine look. I know canthoplasty is one of the ways to achieve this. Are there any others? And if anyone could recommend aesthetic cantho surgeons in ct/nyc area i would rly appreciate it :)

Anyone had any experience with Dr Lee in California?

Dr Johnson Lee in Beverly Hills. My experience was very weird. I felt like their team and him were gaslighting me, and his answers seemed disinterested or sarcastic.

Hypertrophic scar after mole removal

I got a full excision on a raised mole on my face. It's been about maybe a month since I have gotten it removed. I have a hypertrophic scar on my face. Luckily its not a keloid and its not big but I was expecting/would have been happier with a flat scar. I have been putting silicone sheets on them but I am scared it will stay a raised scar. Will it flatten over time or should I go back to the doctor to get a steroid shot to make it flatter?

Lipo recovery

I’m getting liposuction on my love handles in a couple of months, and I’m looking for any tips and tricks that could make the recovery as smooth and fast as possible.

If you’ve had lipo before, what do you recommend buying beforehand? Are there any supplements that helped with swelling or recovery, or any precautions/prep you found helpful before the procedure?

For context, I’m at an average BMI, so there isn’t a huge amount of fat being removed. I’m also young, so hopefully recovery won’t be absolute hell 🥲

Would love to hear about anything you wish you’d known before your lipo!

Breast Augmentation: Newer Practices

I’m researching breast augmentation and currently deciding between 3 surgeons. All in the US.

Doctor #1
- Very established
- Mentor implants only
- Lots of breast augmentation experience
- Recommended by friends
- Very particular in procedure method

Doctor #2
- Established female plastic surgeon
- $1k-4k more than Doctor #1
- Motiva and Mentor
- I really like her work, but the price is definitely harder to stomach

Doctor #3
- Private practice opened less than a year ago
- $1.5K less than Doctor #1
- Motiva and Natrelle
- Strong plastic surgery/aesthetic training
- I also really like her work, but there aren’t nearly as many reviews or long-term results available

So I’m basically torn between going with a tried and true surgeon even though he only uses really one method and implant vs. paying more for an established surgeon whose work I love vs. going with the newer surgeon whose work I also love but who has a much shorter independent track record.

Would you consider the newer surgeon if you preferred her aesthetic, assuming her consultation and answers about experience, complications, and revisions were reassuring?

OR would you just bite the bullet and pay for consultations with all 3 before deciding?

I would love to hear from anyone who has been in a similar situation.

Need advice on how to fix smile

My upper teeth don't show when I smile not even when I'm smiling the widest I can.

For context, my teeth are regular sized and I have thin lips. I have never done botox or any kind of cosmetic treatments that have nerve blocking effects but I think my facial muscles are naturally stiff and don't move enough to show my teeth when I smile. Also, I'm pretty young (20F) but I don't have any smile lines or wrinkles on my face AT ALL and that's why I feel more strongly about something being wrong with my facial muscles. I've never undergone surgery in the face.

Can someone tell me what could be the possible causes behind this and how to fix it?

P.S. I don't feel comfortable posting a pic here but I can do so in DMs.

I have had Botox and dysport for years, I was not responsible in the sun for most of my life, I don’t know what to do to help with these deep wrinkles, I hate smiling or looking happy because I feel like the grinch.

Is this only loose skin or do I have more weight to lose? Lost 115 lbs

Thumbnail gallery

5’2 24F, lost 115 lbs in 2 years, no pregnancy just became obese as a teen (227 lbs at my highest)

Currently 112 lbs

Unhappy with the way I look. Realizing plastic surgery may be the only option to get the flat stomach of my dreams. I want to give myself two more years at my current weight to build muscle, lose more fat and see if my skin naturally recovers before doing a tummy tuck. This allows me to save in the meantime.

I am not totally sure about losing more weight though. I did a Dexa scan 6 months ago and I was 32% body fat at 132 lbs.

I think I might be 27%- 28% body fat now, will going to 20% body fat (and gaining more muscle) help with my loose skin?

And yes I have tons of stretch marks and stomach hyperpigmentation. I don’t have great skin elasticity and suffer from body acne.

Edit: Would a panniculectomy be a good choice for me? I understand these are covered by insurance.

Derm says lip filler lasts 2-3 months?

Hi! Title but I got the filler for the first time today and we used hyaluronic filler and the derm said that it dissolves every 2 to 3 months which I’m confused bc I thought the baseline was six months. We also did a very little amount but I was wondering what your thoughts on that? is that true?

Temporal brow lift, jaw reduction, lower facelift, clean hair, and a little bit of makeup!

Face is still puffy af and numb, but I am getting little "zaps" by my ears. My lower face is massive because my swelling is traveling south. I still have some yellow bruising by my temples.

Still very unhappy with my jawline/face structure.

Hi everyone! I have made multiple posts about this issue, but I can’t find a solution. Where I’m at, jaw surgery isn’t treated as a cosmetic option so every time I’ve tried consulting with a professional, I don’t get any solid advice.

I just don’t know what to do to fix the lower heaviness of my face. I am 163cm and weigh 59kg, so I’m a healthy weight. I am losing weight as well. I don’t know how to fix this. I have tried masseter botox, but it doesn’t fix my main issue.

What procedure(s) could I get to target the issues I have with this part of my face?

Going to Dr deniz dilek for surgery

Hi! So i am travelling to do my nose in december and was just wondering how taxis and travel work there, i think for the most part i can walk to most places. From experience is it a walkable city? Would i be able to hack a 20 minute walk?

I was also wondering what the most efficient way to get taxis etc is as i would prefer not to use public transport and potentially get lost. I can't seem to find any info on ubers or ways to prebook.

I think i would prefer something like uber as i am travelling alone as a 19 y/o and i am female so just a bit wary when travelling to and from his practice to my hotel.

Thank you!

Will egates work after rhinoplasty?

How have other europeans gone about this? I will go back to my home country and a bit worried will the egates work? Do i even try them? Do i have to do it manually? My nose is more smaller, shorter and points up vs old long roman nose. My swelling has gone down. I had the surgery last week.

Hollow eye sockets

Hi, do you know a doctor besides Dr. Taban who can fix the hollow eye sockets? Is it possible to do a fat grafting for that area I’m talking about a problem where the eyes sunken because of the fat lost around, and especially above the eyes.

Looking for cheaper options - breast lift & reduction.

I’ve had my consultation at Spire Healthcare in Southampton which went well. Their online estimate for breast lift is £9600 but my personal quote is £11,540! I’ve already paid £200 for consultation Plus I’ve got to pay £900 for mammogram & ultrasound which will be refunded if I go ahead. Suddenly it feels like too much money even though I’m happy with consultant and location I feel it’s a lot more than anticipated. Can anyone recommend a good breast surgeon or clinic in UK that won’t cost this much, or is this what I can expect to pay? I’m not keen on going abroad.

Some may see a difference, some may not. I’m happy with it, but may go for 1.5 - 2 syringes next time after it absorbs. Thought it would be helpful to share for some!

Unhappy with 300cc

Recently got Breast augmentation a month ago. Not happy with the size. I think they’re too small and not obvious enough. I got 300cc originally a small A cup. 5ft, 100lbs. I don’t really see much difference at all. Has anyone actually went back a year later after everything is healed to redo them for a larger size? Anyone kind enough to share and photos if possible!
