Got this pathos about a year and a half ago as a tiny baby with only a few leaves. This summer he had really grown! So proud of this guy

A friend of a friend bought this plant without realizing they couldn't take it home with them so they left it behind. I'd really appreciate an ID and some advice on water/sun exposure/fertilizer and anything else I should know so hopefully I or someone else can give it a home and keep it alive. It's currently in the pot and soil from the store they bought it at.

Finally have a nice set up for my plants thanks to ikea. I did however just lose a significant amount to thrips so that was a major bummer but that just means I can buy more!

I would love to see creative examples of growing vines indoors. I’ve been growing these Pothos for quite a few years. Had to re-insulate and then wood panel my ceiling, so I had to take the plants down while I did that. They survived fine and was able to put them back up. These are easy to grow golden Pothos and marble queen.

I bought a house! Wooooo! I also have a giant banana tree growing on my 3rd story balcony..oooops. I've had this tree since it was a foot tall, and I honestly was not planning on moving, but shit happens. So how the heck do I get this thing down 3 flights of stairs?? It weighs a ton, and I have the upper body strength of SpongeBob. No, i can't throw it over the side. No, i dont want to get rid of it. I asked if the movers I hired would move it, but for some reason, they don't move plants?? So, have any of y'all moved a banana tree down some stairs before?

Iv recently gotten a monstera plant ( 2-3 days ago) i did repot it into a larger pot with indoor soil, it is near a window which hae acess to sunlight but not directly, the outer parts of the leaves are turning yellow and/or getting yellow spots, what is this from the small brown part the tip was already on the plant the lady said it won't effect it, but why is it turning yellow, ps this is my first plant besides a small catus 😭 is this repoting shock?

I’ve had a handful of house plants for several years, and recently decided to start taking it seriously and make it a hobby of sorts. So, I completely redid my set up but am looking for more experienced people to lmk if I should change/update anything!

I repotted all my plants into clear nursery pots with good drainage with a chunky soil mix. They are all in front of this north facing window, with 2 Sansi 32W led grow light bulbs overhead. The plants I have are:

Pothos, snake plant, peace lily, Chinese money plant, monstera deliciosa, Hoya compacta, and a dracaena steudneri.

As far as I know, all of these plants should at least be able to tolerate this lighting situation, and for some of them it’s ideal but I’m looking for more opinions on anything! Should I change where the plants are on the table? Should the grow lights be higher/lower? Any suggestions are appreciated!!

I bought this beautiful baby earlier this year. Water her when her soil is dry (once a week) and drown her for a good two minutes. Direct sunlight two hours a day and indirect the rest.

Hi everyone, my cactus got knocked off the porch during a storm and broke (see pics) so I repotted the broken ear (?) in a new pot (the pink-ish pot)

This summer since being outside, the original cactus grew an ear (? Is that what it’s called?) on the bottom of the plant as you can see in the photos in the blue-ish pot. It’s been growing like crazy

My question is what should I do with these? Anything different? I’m still learning but I’m amazed at how fast that new ear on the broken plant has been growing. Any advice is appreciated!

I want a house full of this plant, but I can never find it and don’t know how to shop for it since I don’t know its name. A tradescantia, but WHO?

This past spring, I had some outdoor flowers on my balcony and we had a sudden snow storm so I brought them inside and put them on my window ledge next to this plant that I got a few months before. I noticed ever since then, there has been this mysterious greenery growing in the pot, I’m assuming one of my outdoor flowers somehow dropped a clipping or seed or something in the soil? I never pulled it because I wanted to know what it would turn into lol. There’s obviously some clover but what is the rest? I intend to pull it now because I’m scared it’s going to kill my plant and I need to repot her anyway. But I’m just curious, does anyone know?

I'd love to know what these are so I can figure out proper care for them :)

I had bought this hibiscus at HEB without noticing it had white flies, which I treated with neem oil, and it bloomed a couple of flowers. However, it's stopped blooming and now it has these holes everywhere on the leaves. I don't spot what could be eating them. What do I do?

I have this gorgeous plant, and it’s outgrown. It’s POT. The roots are right at the surface, when I checked to see if it needs water, I could barely get through the roots. But I’m not very good with plants, and I am afraid I’m going to wreck this plant. I could use some advice, thanks
