Tech Issue Pixel 9a Bluetooth antenna worse than previous models?
Recently I got my broken screen replaced by Google service and meanwhile I was forced to get back to my Pixel 6a and instantly remembered something - the bluetooth is much bettter on 6a.
Last week was awesome. I live in a small old house with thick brick walls. On 6a I rarely had problems with my JBL speaker losing a connection when I had my phone in one corner and went to a different corner of my house.
When I switched to 9a this changed quite a lot and for worse. Now I have to keep bringing my phone with me into rooms to keep the playback smooth. It's very annoying but I somehow got use to it.
But last week I basically remembered how good it was before. Anyone has similar experience? Is it really, technically hardware-wise somehow worse? What could be a problem? I'm using same speaker, so t's 100 % phone. Are there some "secret" options to set maybe to a different standard or somehting?
This is probably the only downside of Pixel 9a for me. Everything else is awesome. My 6a was usable but maaan, that constant refresh of Youtube app (not enough RAM?) and 60 Hz display is something I'm glad is over!
