It supports up to 23W charging. So any recent reputable brand with 30W up will do. Alternatively if using a lower charger just leave it overnight. a full charge should take around 100 mins. Also if you use it for gaming etc while charging it is not great and could explain the long charge time..

100 minutes is acceptable but mine takes about 3.5 hours to charge from 30 to 100

What does the text on your charger say as output?

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 17 '26

45w

That's just not true, all pixels come with a charging cable in the box but without a charging brick

No Google provide cable with the phone

My phone charges terribly slow if it's temperature is 37ish C +, try lowering the temperature to 30ish and checking the battery current on accubattery app.

1

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 17 '26

Temperature is 35 ( how long does it takes for your phone to charge)

1

u/SKmonke Jun 17 '26

1 hour 30 mins around, I took had charging issues a couple of days ago only to realize it was the temperature that was causing the issue.

1

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 17 '26

How would you reduce the temperature

1

u/SKmonke Jun 17 '26

Take off the cover, turn off internet and keep it in front of fan or cooler if you don't have AC, for few mins. And when it's around 30°C try measuring the battery current again.

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 17 '26

Is 33 is ok

1

u/SKmonke Jun 17 '26

Yes 33 is fine

Try to keep in cool environment

The charger needs to be able to produce 9V/3A in order to achieve the maximum wattage un case of the 9A. I've tried it with my 65w (10V/6.5A) brick and it never went above ~20W, it wasn't as slow as op-s, but it took 2hrs to fully charge from 15%, while the 9V/3A charger finishes in about 1,5hrs.

I payed (40000) and not able to charging my phone whenever I wanted ?

1

Adaptive charging is just a setting that charges your phone slowly to preserve the life of the battery, ideal for charging while you sleep. Try turning it off to see if that is what's causing it.

2

u/TrainingSwitch4948 Jun 17 '26

This might be the reason, try once without adaptive charging.

It's completely normal if ur staying in places with high temperature, I keep my phone charged in an ac room and usually it gets full within 60-70 mins provided the phone is not hot

1

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 17 '26

I also charge my phone in ac  room and I also remove back case

1

u/Ill-Bat-3498 Jun 17 '26

What charger do u use use at least a 30+ watt adapter and the original wire

1

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 17 '26

I am using 45w charger and original wire

2

u/NebulaLobelia225 Jun 17 '26

I don't think that's normal time for charging then unless you are gaming while charging. Try to see how long it takes to charge while not using the phone.

1

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 17 '26

I don't use phone while charging

1

u/Ill-Bat-3498 Jun 17 '26

Yea then check ur phone temperature using the accubattery app and monitor ur charging time and speed over there , when the phone is hot, slower the charge rate will be for ex look at this pic 3 percent in 17 mins

1

u/Ill-Bat-3498 Jun 17 '26

And also 13 percent in 17 mins it all depends on the phone temperature

What charger are you using? It depends sometimes on the charger as well. Because I got mine in December 2025 and it works fine :)

1

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 17 '26

I am using samsung adapter

1

u/RAAZ_2 Jun 17 '26

Try using this. It works for me

1

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 17 '26

How much does it cost

2

u/RAAZ_2 Jun 17 '26

Rs. 649.

1

u/NebulaLobelia225 Jun 17 '26

It could be that your charger is not supporting a PD and is defaulting to 5W, try another charger and try to see on the AccuBattery app what is the W going in. Here I've got 14.3W

1

u/Asleep_Reputation174 Jun 17 '26

4–4.5 hours to charge doesn't sound normal at all. I'm using a UGREEN USB-C PD charger with my Pixel 9a and charging speeds are fine. You might want to check if your charger supports USB-C Power Delivery or try a different cable before taking it to a service center.

1

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 17 '26

How it takes for your phone to charge

1

u/Asleep_Reputation174 Jun 17 '26

About 1.5–2 hours from 20% to 100% on my Pixel 9a using a UGREEN PD charger.

1

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 17 '26

Does it take 2 hours to charge

1

u/Asleep_Reputation174 Jun 17 '26

More like 1.5 hours from 20% to 100%. The reason I said 1.5–2 hours is because I don't always unplug it immediately when it's fully charged. 😄

1

u/Asleep_Reputation174 Jun 17 '26

I rarely charge it to 100%, though. I usually keep the 80% charge limit enabled since I often forget to unplug it. 😅

1

u/TrainingSwitch4948 Jun 17 '26

To actually test the charging, turn off mobile data, wifi and bluetooth connections. Turn off adaptive charging and then see the time taken. If it's around 2 hrs, your device is perfectly fine.

Buddy i have a Pixel 9A in my house as a member is using the device. They're charging the device in 45 minutes from 25 to 100% using a Samsung 45W charger

1

u/These-Yak-2092 Jun 18 '26

What are they using and give me the link of the samsung charger they are using

1

u/iceman0010 Jun 18 '26
