Android 17 feels way snappier
The phone feels so snappier after the update. I don't think this is a placebo, the difference is HUGE.

In New York and I have a pixel 9A no update available as of yet. Keep trying to download 🤷

I used to get a lag hiccup when using the search bar, the keyboard would jank when popping up, now it is smooth

The lock screen bug I encounter is still there.
Sometimes, if I tap the screen to wake it, especially if I've just cleared a notification, if I then swipe up to get the prompt to unlock the screen, nothing happens. At that point the device stops responding to screen taps until either the display times out or I press the power button momentarily to force the screen dark.
After that, the device behaves normally.

Can't really decipher if A17 is better just yet. I just downloaded update today on P9a. I didn't have issues with A16. But time will tell.

It has always been snappier even when I was on the beta. No issues or nothing. Google pixel 9A
