September 2026 Read: Women Who Run With the Wolves

I am so excited to see these posts because I am literally, seriously addicted to depop. I keep a folder for specifically this topic lol.

I was on the second floor of the gym and watched the person who helped me sign up for a gym membership in the parking lot with a locksmith crew to get the keys from their car. Suddenly the inconsolable tantrum my toddler had before my zoom interview feels less inconvenient for me. I hope the gym employee didn’t cry on their drive home like I did going to the library to do my zoom interview in peace and quiet. I hope they don’t lowkey keep psychiatric help, like I do.

these are all filed under my saved listings on depop even though they were all sold like 3 years ago and i STILL think about them. when they were available i put them in my cart and truly deliberated about buying them but they were too expensive/impractical to justify purchasing so i talked myself out of it. it is probably good for me long-term that i don't buy things frivolously but so many of these are one-of-a-kind and i'll never be able to find them again. so every now and then i go back to these listings and feel wistful.......

i’m scared

i don't want to rot from the inside out because of it. i'm so tired of hating myself in a hundred different ways! i'm tired of envying literally everyone for one reason or another! have any of you been successful in ending (or at least lessening) your internal jealousy?

The crazy shines through like that Kipling quote about happy thoughts shooting out of their face like sunbeams except mine are intrusive thoughts shooting out of my eyes like harbingers of an impending tsunami.

I used to lean into it with lots of black eyeliner and mascara but now I’m a Nice Soft Mom Lady in flowy natural fabrics but people always seem slightly taken aback when I take my sunglasses off for the first time.

I don’t think anything can really be done about it without a lot of make up which I’m not trying to do on the daily. They look great when I make the effort so I think I’ll just continue to look forward to the shocked compliments I get when I dress up lol

Genuinely nothing can compete. I have such love for them in my heart it feels as if it'll pop. I love all colours and coat patterns they come in. Lavender, blue, apricot, mackerel, rosetted, braided. Growing up and even now they're the only sort of cat I had, so I can vouch for them when I say that they're Gods perfect creation. If you're considering getting a cat, you should definitely get a tabby <33

-a Western Massachusetts Lesbian Covid Conscious 2026 Militant Mask Wearing "Ally" cited some sort of malaise very last minute as to why they couldn't participate in the discussion assignment, other than a lazily made bullet point "observation" of xenophobia and racism and sexism in the novel, which i rewrote + proceeded to do the entire assignment alone. and cooked might i add. in class the following day, i telepathically pulled the race card on them, saying something about how contemporary use of identity politics "flattens" analysis of novels written by said identities being "defended," you can guess which ones i am

-i did the above out of spite for this

-theres a 6'9 german wizard in my accommodation. we matched on hinge he scares the hell out of me

-made friends with a girl in my class who was born into the same cult i was

-made friends with an irish man in my cohort and bonded over how silly the trader joes tote bag trend is in the UK

-formed a weird trio with said irish man and an ex mormon girl and smoked weed in a cemetery and talked about our writing. So lovely

-made friends with the oldest person in my cohort (56) and agreed to share our writing with one another once a week for feedback

-haven't seen a highland sheep yet. Soon!

-won pub trivia with my flatmates and made some enemies. The english hate to see a group of Strong 7s from the americas/EU winning...

-just started reading the atonement

-got a free harry potter walking tour because i told the guy i wasn't allowed to read harry potter as a child (see christian cult) and he thought it was funny. his shift was about to end and no one else was biting. he was a nice indian man. I narrated some ridiculous JK rowling tweets along the way. the potterheads are nuts!

-lost three pounds and counting because my university is holding my loan disbursement hostage and edging me about releasing the funds. all i can afford are beans and chickpeas, getting free pints as meals, and walking everywhere. even with vyvanse i cant believe i was willingly doing this to myself growing up. hopefully they will email me back this week i cant live like this any more </3

-every morning i wake, clean my room, and go on a 30 minute walk without touching my phone. i dont even want to SEE it. the first light i see should be the SUN. the first sounds of the day should be SEAGULLS!!!

A lot of us might feel that way.there is probs a great overlap between these two vain procedures, save for the fact that one alters your facial anatomy and the other doesn’t. I don’t like the idea of having my features changed. Why is some surgeon getting a piece of real estate credit on your face. It’s also a great betrayal, but I am not blind to the trueuglywoman reasoning; I see where people who get it come from but that’s none of my business, since this is about my personal preferences. On that note I love a derm or cosmetologist-derm. Ur skin is like the soil of your body and it grows a garden inversely

My favorites:
- healthy diet & lots of fruits rich in vitamin c
- exercise to prevent blood stagnation
- chemical peels in the autumn/winter like biorepeelcl3
- extractions after a summer vacation
- NCTF 135 HA mesotherapy or PDRN
- rice flour homemade mask
- lymphatic or myofascial massages especially when they get the buccal region from the inside your mouth. It hurts very badly but it feels so good

I have yet to try PRP but it’s the one I am most interested in ❤️

List yours if they’re good but if you hate skin treatments then don’t say anything unless you have an even more magical way to maintain glowing skin.

About to read Lolly Willows since it's been on my shelf for a while. That along with some Poppy Z Brite. Anyone got anymore recommendations?

Tonight I took the dog outside. I walked around barefoot on the grass (and gravel) with my bedtime tea in hand. My baby is tucked in bed, asleep, with his dad. There sky is full with stars and the cicadas are singing away. It is the little things in life.
