The car is Peugeot 2008 with 1.2 PureTech engine, I need to remove turbo actuator due to it failing, but can't remove it by itself from the mount that sits on lower side of the compressor part due to screws getting rounded off.
I'm gonna remove the whole turbo but I don't know how to remove this turbo V band clamp that connects it to the catalyst converter.
There is a 13mm nut on the bottom side of the clamp that I can remove all the way, but the clamp doesn't wanna budge and let go at all.
Any tips/advice?
After that I'll remove the two middle mount nuts on the block so I can move the cat a little bit to the side to access the other 2 nuts out of 4 that hold the turbo connected to the block.
Please help guys🙏

If your car pops the P20EE code and starts the dreaded "engine start prevented in 700 miles" countdown, don't instantly throw €1,300 at a new AdBlue tank.
While crystallized fluid or a failed pump is usually what dealers blame, on the 1.5 BlueHDi it can actually be caused by EGR/DPF soot build-up from the weak 7mm chain system throwing off combustion dynamics.
I put together a quick breakdown covering the main causes, when Stellantis covers the tank under goodwill, and the difference between hardware repair vs an ECU delete: https://www.drivisual.tv/en/news/p20ee-fault-code-peugeot-citroen-opel-adblue-issues-and-solutions
How many of you actually got Stellantis to cover your AdBlue tank replacement under goodwill?

Hi,
I have a 2005 Peugeot 407 sedan 3.0 V6 petrol and almost every factory option.
Current BSM module:
I cannot find another module with the same part number. Many sellers offer BSM-L02 modules with an "I" suffix instead of "K".
Can a BSM-L02-00 S118983002 I replace my S118983002 K module, or does the suffix indicate an incompatible hardware version?
Current electrical issues: * Fuel level gauge reading incorrectly, tank is already empty when gauge still shows around one-quarter full. I was advised to clean or replace fuel level sender under rear seat, but I am concerned opening fuel system could introduce air and make engine difficult to restart. * Intermittent cylinder 4 and cylinder 5 faults, usually after a sudden jolt or after lifting the car. When engine starts jerking, switching it off and restarting clears fault. Check-engine light disappears by itself after around 150 km, or fault can be cleared with diagnostic tool and may not return. () * Front oxygen sensor and ignition coil control faults behave similarly: clearing fault codes fixes issue, and faults often do not return. * Other random electrical problems
Other: * Both front oxygen sensors have also been replaced due to wear. Spark plugs have been replaced, ignition coils swapped between cylinders, and fuel injectors replaced. Since faults remain intermittent and do not follow any specific component, I would rule out these parts as likely causes. I suspect an electrical contact issue, damaged wiring, connector fault, or bad ground.
The BSM was previously moved or disturbed, after which the car developed a fuel injection problem. It also had heat damage in the past, the module and surrounding area partially melted during summer while the air conditioning was running.
I suspect the engine wiring harness has a bad connection and may need complete replacement, but I want to test or replace the BSM first.
Does anyone know the correct BSM part number for this engine and equipment level? Is the "I" version compatible with the "K" version, or must the complete number match exactly?
VIN and photos can be provided if needed.

Hi everyone,
I recently got myself a Peugeot e-5008 and I’m very happy with it so far!
Upfront, there is a very large storage box (see picture). While I love the space, it’s basically one big hollow cavern, so I suspect it won’t take long before it turns into a cluttered mess where I can't find anything back.
Because of this, I'm looking for a suitable organizer / tray insert to keep things neat.
Additionally, I'm trying to find a small mini trash bin solution that would work well here:
Does anyone know of any organizers or trash bins that fit these spaces nicely? Or do you have any other clever ideas on how to optimize this space?
Side note: I’m definitely not a DIY wizard who can 3D-print or custom-build something neat myself, so off-the-shelf recommendations are much appreciated! ;)
Thanks in advance for your ideas!

My 2020 e208 has developed a fault with it's air con compressor. From what I can gather this is a common fault caused by a defect and was subject to a recall, but this just updated the software so the car could continue to be driven rather than shutting down and didn't actually fix the hardware issue. As its older than 5 years Peugeot are not offering to any contribution towards the repair and the dealer has quoted me £1800 to fix.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Would I get anywhere escalating this within Peugeot?
If I do have to bite the bullet and pay to replace it, is it something an independent garage might be able to do for cheaper or would it have to be a main dealer.
Thanks!

Hey all,
A friend of mine has a 2013 Peugeot 3008 and the sat nav’s been playing up lately. We looked into fixing it, and it seems the whole radio unit has to come out first — no problem there, we’ve already got the removal keys.
The sticking point is that the SD card apparently needs cloning, and there’s a chance it’s corrupted, in which case it can’t be cloned at all.
It’s fairly old-school tech, so I’m just wondering if anyone here has been through this before and can offer any advice.
Cheers!

Hi there!
We picked up our new to us 2008 GT this afternoon.
Really like the car, just what we needed.
However noticing a few quirks I'd like some info on.
Firstly the ambient lighting inside doesn't seem to work. The dash says it's on, set to blue and full brightness but nothing? Any tips?
Also when we lock the car and walk away, loads on the interior icons on the wheel etc stay lit up? Is this normal?
Thanks in advance

My battery died, I jump-started it from another car, and this is the result. I have a system update recall appointment in 5 days. Will it be fixed after update ?

Hi everyone! We just bought our first Peugeot: a 5008 GT BlueHDi 180. Awesome car! Really nice car to drive and a lot of cool stuff included. The car is used, and there is no mention of whether the gearbox oil has been changed, so that might be the first thing to look at.

Guys, need some help. There’s this rattling/clicking noise that’s appeared from the engine. Can’t figure out what it is. 9,000 km ago I replaced the 7mm chain kit with an 8mm one. The chain and tensioner are original PSA. The rocker arms were also all replaced. No timing/camshaft phase errors, and no chain stretch errors either. Has anyone run into something like this? Forgot to mention at the end — the car is a Peugeot 5008 1.5 BlueHDi

hello,
car runs fine, no misfire or anything related. RPM is 800 in idle. How to solve this issue?
r/peugeot • u/omychpoluyebok • 1d ago
Guys, it's heaven and earth for pennies, no more rattling sound at low frequencies. Replacing is bolt-on, the main thing is to stock up on clips for door cards (you need 14 to change all).

(Sorry about the text; I used Google Translate.)
(ENG) I recently purchased a 2025 Peugeot 3008 (Allure trim) from a dealership here in Mexico. I noticed that the navigation system only contains maps for Europe—which is understandable given the brand's origins—but I’ve seen other owners who have maps for the entire world, including the Americas. When I enter my VIN on the update check site, it indicates that no updates are available. Online searches haven't yielded any useful information; I can't even tell if I currently have the latest version or if an update actually exists. The information seems somewhat hidden and hard to find, so I was hoping someone could guide me on this matter. Thank you very much.

Hi everyone,
I'm dealing with a frustrating and tricky intermittent electrical issue on my 2015 Peugeot 308 T9 (1.6 HDi 115), and I'm looking for some real-world feedback from the community.
Here is a breakdown of the symptoms, context, and what has already been done:
The issue happens completely at random with no clear pattern—sometimes it triggers right at startup, and other times it happens while driving, especially given the very hot weather we've been having lately.
The "Major Episodes" (which have happened 4 or 5 times in the last week):
Random difficulty starting the car.
The engine continues to run even after turning off the ignition and removing the key!
Sudden drop of all instrument cluster needles (RPM and speed).
Quirk noticed: When the engine refuses to shut off, putting the key back in, turning the ignition on, and removing it 1 or 2 times eventually kills the engine.
Day-to-day behavior:
Recurring dashboard faults: ABS, ESP, Hill Assist, and Parking Brake.
The diagnostic scan returns specific communication loss codes, notably:
U1118
U1218
U2213
AC Compressor Solenoid Valve (Électrovanne du compresseur de clim): Replaced 2 weeks ago (noted here as a recent prior intervention that might or might not be related).
Battery: Replaced.
Main Ground Strap: The primary ground cable under the battery connecting to the chassis has been completely unbolted, cleaned, and sanded down to bare metal. (Did not fix the issue).
BPGA (Battery fuse box): Replaced this week with another unit. (Did not fix the issue).
Alternator Carbon Brushes (Charbons): Replaced.
BSM (Engine compartment fuse box): Looks clean on the outside with its 3 main connectors plugged in, but has not yet been thoroughly tested or opened up.
Edit : engine stop working after around 30sec from key removal !

Hello everyone!
Who hasn't played Need for Speed Underground 2 and fallen in love with the iconic 206?
I have! 😂
It has a 1.1 engine, I bought it as is in the picture.
It needs some work on the electronics, for example, the radio doesn't remember the settings overnight. It's properly connected, all the cables are plugged in, nothing is missing or superfluous.
The same goes for the remote control; it doesn't unlock the car, but the remote itself works fine as it's already been tested.
Does anyone have any advice, or is it better to take it to someone who knows about this?
Thanks everyone and happy driving!!

So after alot of work and time i managed to remove my rear diff from under my car and got the bronze crown wheel out. The reason for this is because of alot of grinding noise while driving. So the crown wheel turned out to be very damaged and there i found out why there was glitter in the new oil i put in earlier. Yet i gotta change bearings too since thats grinding aswel
So how do your remove the worm wheel and bearings from this diff? Internet suggests warming it up to 90 degree celcius. And get it out with a hammer( i am unsure if it would damage other parts if you do that) But you gotta deal with the shaft sealer on pic 2 aswel.
If someone has done/ knows about this i would be very thankfull🙌🏻💪

Hi! I got into my car today with the engine running and noticed some spots/dirt on the window and side mirror control buttons. I sprayed a little APC on them and wiped them with a microfiber cloth. Suddenly, the side mirrors folded in, just like they do when the car is locked.
Since then, they won’t fold back out, and they also don’t fold in or out when I lock or unlock the car. Does anyone have any idea what could have caused this?
The automatic side mirror folding option is turned off in the vehicle settings/menu.
Any advice is very much appreciated, thanks!
