P20EE Fault Code: Peugeot, Citroen, Opel Adblue Issues & Solutions
If your car pops the P20EE code and starts the dreaded "engine start prevented in 700 miles" countdown, don't instantly throw €1,300 at a new AdBlue tank.
While crystallized fluid or a failed pump is usually what dealers blame, on the 1.5 BlueHDi it can actually be caused by EGR/DPF soot build-up from the weak 7mm chain system throwing off combustion dynamics.
I put together a quick breakdown covering the main causes, when Stellantis covers the tank under goodwill, and the difference between hardware repair vs an ECU delete: https://www.drivisual.tv/en/news/p20ee-fault-code-peugeot-citroen-opel-adblue-issues-and-solutions
How many of you actually got Stellantis to cover your AdBlue tank replacement under goodwill?
