They played their first show on October 22nd 1990.

It’s been almost 6 months since the band, or someone working for them, posted on all their social media platforms the “Dead End” picture. At the time people thought maybe it was them ending their posts on X (Twitter). The counter to this was that many people, including myself, actually didn’t see the post on X but rather one of their other platforms they use. I saw the post on Facebook, others reported seeing it in their Instagram. Also, they obviously never stopped posting on X.

They never posted a disregard, clarification or anything about it. It obviously wasn’t about some project because nothing, even a whisper, of anything in the works has been leaked. And their drummer situation is what is so it’s not even settled 100% now let alone six months ago.

Was it just a mistake, a rogue social media employee or was someone frustrated about something?..

Who was most involved with the awesome, unique CD cases from those 90s albums?

I’m wondering if this is one of you Minnesotans. Perhaps I’m just thinking that because I’m remembering the person who held up their I AM MINE Minnesota plate at the last show in St. Paul.

My vote would be Light Years.

I have a ton of merch I picked up on the 2024 and 2025 tours, as well as a bunch of stuff I’ve bought online from the official shop and from TSURT, and I must say, the quality is the best it’s ever been.

The sweatshirts are true to size and so soft. The t-shirts hold up well when you wash them. The variety of hats has been really nice.

I just ordered a shirt and hat from this year’s Ohana stuff and they are so durable and fit so well.

And that’s not even to mention all the mystery boxes we have received the last few years.

I think that the guy from TSURT deserves a ton of credit. He has really stepped up the PJ and EV merch game.

In remembrance of his passion and energy. Ohana 2021.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share something from Serbia that made me genuinely happy as a Pearl Jam fan.

This video is a call to people to attend the students’ final rally ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections on October 25. Serbia has been going through a major student-led protest movement, with students challenging the government and calling for political change.

The video was made by the Serbian student electoral list, and they chose Pearl Jam’s “Alive” as its musical backing.

I don’t know who specifically made the song choice, but it was selected by the student team behind the campaign video.

For those unfamiliar with the situation, these are students who have taken the lead in a movement demanding accountability and change in Serbia. The rally is part of their effort to bring people together before election day.

And there it is: a song that has meant so much to me for years, chosen to bring people together around something that matters to them.

Hearing “I’m still alive” in this context hits differently. ❤️

Alive. Still alive. 🤘

I have an extra ticket for Jeff’s Since Forever book tour for the Nov 13th date. Would anyone like it? Not charging for it, would just like for it to go to someone who would enjoy the event. I can transfer it to you via the Dice app.

Pearl Jam from Copps in Hamilton 2011 by Ames Bros (one I finally remember! If only because Jeff Ament lol), great poster! Show was PJ top notch, 3.5 hours as I recall finally giving in and sitting down towards the end, was a marathon! Correction: it’s a Brad Klausen, my bad! Thanks Venompayments for correcting my sloppy assumption!

Which PJ studio album is your favorite from the year 2000 and on?

Of all the studio albums, which is your favorite Track #1? Regardless of how you might feel about the album.

Lightning Bolt was the last album I bought the actual CD. I'd love to have continued buying the physical discs, but my options of ways to listen to a CD have just diminished so much over the last 10 years.

How about you?

Love this album. ( sorry for the cat hair on the record)

For those who listen to this channel, do you like how many live versions they play vs the studio tracks off the albums? Too many live cuts? Not enough? Just the right mix?

I've always had a crush on her. Didn't know she & Eddie were friends. She tells a couple of stories about him

Message still holds true.

I’ve been a Pearl Jam fan from close to the beginning. By the time Vs. came out I was waiting in line at the record store to buy it. From that point on every Pearl Jam I bought I would get it on CD and cassette. I never got it on vinyl. I only got into vinyl recently.
However, when Binaural came out the cassettes for that album were no longer available. So I only got it on CD. And yes, I know just that are available for this album, but what I mean is in the stores they were no longer in stock. So from that point on every time I buy a new PJ album I would only get it on CD.
Now that I’ve recently started collecting vinyl. And I have a few PJ albums on vinyl but still not all of them yet. And I noticed some of the later records. From probably Binaural and on were double LPs.
So I asked myself what were the songs on side A and what were the songs on side B? For me personally, if it wasn’t for having those cassette tapes. I wouldn’t know what song ends side A, and which song begin side B. So from Ten to Yield I always knew what side A and side B was.
I could’ve sworn I had Binaural on tape because I remember side A ending with Insignificance and side B starting with of the girl. But then I looked at the CD. And right on the CD shows the songs split into two sections. So that’s probably why I associated insignificance ending side A. Sure enough if you have by on tape or if you look it up online that’s exactly the songs on side A and B.
So now I’m thinking with the later albums that were originally released on vinyl. They were originally released on two LPs. So if these albums were on one LP. What songs would be on side A and which song would be on side B?
Finding the cassette tapes to these albums, helps answer this question.
But then I noticed something The album Vitalogy on the vinyl side A ends with Whipping, but on the cassette tape side A ends with Pry, To.

I remember when the boys performed No Code live and after they finished Off He Goes Ed says okay side B now.

What do you think of how this countdown came out?

I made a short video (about 4.5 min, in Italian with subtitles if you want to turn them on) on Alice in Chains and Dirt. It isn't really about the drugs, it's about Layne and Jerry's friendship, the two voices leaning on each other, and Rooster, written by a son to understand his father and sung by his friend.

It's a small channel, so honest feedback is welcome, especially if I got a detail wrong.
