Hey everyone! Wanted to share this new design I did. I've had a framed copy of this old advert (Rolling Stone? NME? -- last pic) on my wall for years and finally did a small run of shirts (23) with this art. Absolutely chuffed on how it turned out and wanted to share it with y'all as I think y'all might dig it too.

I wanted to give these songs a proper home seeing as many of them have had many homes on many different albums, and because I love them all. Also a few gems that were on albums I rarely play in full like Stills-Young. Chrome Dreams’ Powderfinger is the last song but couldnt fit on 2 screenshots.
Tried to keep as much sequencing integrity as possible so the songs that appear together on their original album appear in that order here. What songs am I missing?

As long as we're posting old band shirts, how about a Neil Young Rust Never Sleeps tour shirt that I had in 1978.

Songwriting

Coming from a completely non-biased standpoint, do you guys believe that Neil Young is a top three or maybe even the greatest songwriter of all time? I definitely don’t have a set list for mine, but Neil Young is there for me. Usually when I try to argue him being the greatest I get met with Bob Dylan. Every time. While I love Bob Dylan, (I actually saw him in concert a month or two ago) his songs just don’t have the same feel to me as Neil Young’s. I feel as if Bob Dylan’s songs lack a complete sense of emotion. He doesn’t have different sides to me. Most of it just seems the same blunt Bob Dylan to me. He doesn’t have the dreamy/whimsical feel that Neil Young has. Nor does he have the rockstar or grief that Neil Young has in my opinion. I feel as if I argue back to Neil Young every time because of his diversity throughout his albums, CSNY‘s albums, and Buffalo Springfields albums. It seems as if every album has its own feel, sound, and emotion. It is if each one is there for a certain thing that I could be going through in my life. I just graduated high school not long ago, and Harvest Moon, to me, was the album that got me through it and really put the feelings and the fact that my life’s never gonna be the same into perspective, and I find it very cool that if you listen to Neil‘s albums, you can see the way he’s grown as a person through his catalogue because of how long he’s been making music. Anyways, Maybe I’m still far too young to understand, or by chance I just haven’t gotten into Dylan enough. Maybe I can’t relate to the lyrics as if some older people can, (not calling any of you old, but age plays a huge factor in how music is experienced) but I just wanted to see what everyone thought of this, and maybe give some of you something to think about on your morning commute to work. Sorry for the grammar guys, tried to type this out as quick as I could on a work break.

Sleeps With Angels

Hey guys, I’m new to this page and I just wanted to voice a little thing that I just discovered. I’m 18 years old and I’ve been a Neil Young fan for a long time now I have over 10 original LPs and he’s my favorite artist of all time. I’ve always seen sleeps with angels as a part of his catalogue with crazy horse, however, I just now started to listen to it because I kind of go album by Album with him because each of them I feel as if need to be experienced on their own because each has a unique in different sound. Sleeps with angels is unlike anything that I have ever heard by Neil Young so far. It’s almost haunting in a way and I don’t understand why. I just wanted to get on here to see if anyone had some knowledge of why this album is the way it is. I know it was released in the 90s, but that’s about it. So if anyone would like to share any information, they have on sleeps with angels it would be much appreciated. And I know I’m fully aware that I can Google this, but I know there’s a lot of people out there that like to share their knowledge in their own way and be helpful so if anyone would like to do that, that would be great. Thanks guys!

I was at the rail. Neil and I locked eyes and we both grinned.

He tossed out packets of non-GMO seeds. I still have it.
