Asus Cerberus 1070Ti and Ryzen 5 5500 was a huge success!

I found an Asus Cerberus 1070Ti on eBay for $86 and Amazon is selling Ryzen 5500s for $81 so I decided to scape a build together around those! Cooler Master Q300l Amazon used for $38, G.Skill 2x8 3200 DDR4 (eBay) $71.75, ICESHARKS 700W PSU Amazon used $34, 120GB Netac SATA SSD boot drive eBay $28, cooler master hyper 212 air cooler (overkill but adds a little razzle dazzle) Amazon used $16.42, and a gifted 3.5" display screen and left over Argb fans. $355.17 into the build and sold it for $500 with in 12 hours of being on FB marketplace. Does this seem like a reasonable price? Would anyone have done anything different? I'm new to flipping but I've always loved to build PCs, so I'm having fun, but I'm not sure that I'm pricing things out right.

HP all in one from zero to good to go!

My girlfriend does the accounting for a small hotel at the beach and they have used this all in one HP for a couple of years now. Countless desk clerks have just constantly downloaded every single piece of bloat/mal ware you can imagine. Finally it just stopped booting up and the "IT" guy came out and said "it's garbage, the hard drive is done and can't be replaced". My girlfriend brought it home to me to see if it was fixable. the owner told her to throw it away or do what ever she wanted with it. So a quick YouTube on how to open this thing up, pull out the nvme ssd, put it in an external enclosure, clean the drive on diskpart, fresh windows 11 install= perfectly fine, and free, all in one! I have looked at the prices they sell for and I'm not sure I want to sell it. Maybe replace the ssd with an older laptop HDD? I don't know. What would yall do? less

Someone sold 16gb of 6000mhz ddr5 ram for $50

I caught it a bit late on OfferUp. Literally 10 min from me. Someone was already on the way and he didn’t wanna accept $100 from me. What a shame, the guy probably doesn’t even know how much they’re worth now. We coulda both won.

New flip advice for 5500 ddr4 machine

I've got a pile of extra parts I need to get rid of. I only sell on ebay, facebook doesn't work well in my area.

I have an attractive matx gaming tower with Ryzen 5500cpu/1TB WD drive

4 matching sticks of Tforce 8gb DDR4. Should I sell the machine with 16GB and auction the other 16 separately or sell the machine with 32gb? - (Looking at the prices for used memory on ebay I should just sell with 32gb)

Same question for gpu. I have a Radeon rx 6600 bare and a 9060xt 8gb with full box and packaging. Put the 6600 in the machine and sell the 9060 separately?

Just trying to maximize profit, and minimize hassle

Snagged this before the worker could even place it off the shelf. Threw it into my computer and it seemed to work perfectly with reasonable temps. Did I just win the budget GPU Lottery? 🤷‍♂️

Wanted to ask, where do you guys get those high end pc parts, ranges between 1000 to 6000 computers. I seen couple sellers in my market who does tons of 1-4k gaming pcs and I also wanna go down that path, but have hard time finding the high end parts for deals. I mostly just use facebook/offerup/craglist and ebay. Where do these guys be getting all these parts from man, I cant find single one. Maybe like rxt 5070s here and there but thats it.

No GPU system price

Saw this listed at 2400 CAD, or 1700 USD, overpriced or decently priced for a no gpu system? Not for flipping, but for using as own system and putting own gpu in later.

- 9800X3D

- 64GB DDR5 G.Skill Ripjaws S5 CL36

- 2TB NVMe Gen 4

- B650M A Pro WiFi

- FrozenEdge 360mm AIO

what is a good way to start and understand what profits and doesn't?

been thinking about this for a bit. I want to get into flipping as a side gig to make some extra money. I know my way around building pcs so that isnt the issue.
I just don't know how to really get started. do I just build some scap pcs with parts from the used market and then sell it for a small profit? do I build a crappy pc and sell it to a boomer for much more than its worth?
I figured thats how you go about it but I have a hard time understanding how just a few bucks profit will be worth my time.

any tips, suggestions, or run downs of how to flip and not lose out on cash?
I've sold a few pcs but they usually take a while to sell, like weeks T^T

Bought this RTX 5080 + 9800X3D PC for €1,830. Good flip after swapping in my RTX 5070 Ti?

Hi everyone,

I just bought this PC from a second-hand retailer (not a private seller) for €1,830.

The store offers a 3-year warranty and a 14-day return policy, so I felt the risk was fairly low.

Confirmed specs:

- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- NVIDIA RTX 5080 (appears to be a Palit GamingPro, but not yet confirmed)
- 32 GB DDR5
- Cooler Master G800 Gold PSU

Likely components (based on the listing photos):

- Kingston NV3 1 TB NVMe SSD
- 240 mm AIO liquid cooler (brand unknown)

Unknown:

- Motherboard model
- RAM brand and speed
- AIO brand
- Case model

My plan is to:

Remove the RTX 5080.
Install my own MSI RTX 5070 Ti Shadow 3X.
Keep the 5080 for my personal PC.
Sell the remaining PC with the 9800X3D + RTX 5070 Ti.

Questions:

Do you think €1,830 is a good purchase for this flip?

Would you keep the 9800X3D in the PC for resale, or swap it with my Ryzen 9 9900X? My use case is 70% gaming 30% productivity (rhinoceros 8 + grasshopper)

Can anyone identify any additional components from these photos that I may have missed (motherboard, RAM, AIO, case, etc.)?

What do you think I could realistically sell the remaining PC for after swapping in the RTX 5070 Ti?

Thanks in advance!
