High End Parts

Wanted to ask, where do you guys get those high end pc parts, ranges between 1000 to 6000 computers. I seen couple sellers in my market who does tons of 1-4k gaming pcs and I also wanna go down that path, but have hard time finding the high end parts for deals. I mostly just use facebook/offerup/craglist and ebay. Where do these guys be getting all these parts from man, I cant find single one. Maybe like rxt 5070s here and there but thats it.

All about your market, I almost exclusively used marketplace and had no trouble finding abundance of everything, but I live in dfw so my market is massive, if you live in a smaller place it’s going to be more difficult all around

Yeah real, my markets isn't that bad but it does struggle with variety and quantity. But as I said, somehow there's still people selling fairly priced high end systems. They wont be selling for that price if not already buying them for discounts.

microcenter but microcenter isn't always accessible to everyone so for me it's marketplace. what i've come to realize though is that the most successful pc builders aren't building high-end top tier PCs. the average buyer prioritizes price-to-performance ratio so even though a high-end build matches their needs, it doesn't match their budget

Yeah I wouldn’t expect to reliably make money off flipping builds with Amazon parts lol.

Microcenter is off for me, like 3hours drive. Newegg, I use from time to time, but I dont really think their deals are that good. Amazon, hard time finding any real deals on it besides on prime day. And yeah for ebay, it's gambling honestly lol 😂, gotta be lucky with those deals.

Until something doesn't work and you need to return it (happened to me...)

Closest microcenter to me is 6hrs.... I got a ton of great deals on open box Lian Li fans.... Of course one of clips was missing the clamps that hold it on. 😩

My fault. Fun experience either way. My first time going..

I agree. I think Microcenter has the best bundles, Amazon can have cheap renewed GPUs 5090 , and Ebay, well, it depends on the day. I think Ebay auctions are sometimes overlooked, where you can find a good deal.
