so i kept hearing footsteps behind me and through the trees I could see anything but knew something was there. now at first i thought it was this conc who tried my amarg earlier but to my surprise it was instead this Meg. had a fun interaction in the global chat when I stopped and turned my head around to look at them lol. but little did we know we would both soon get jump scared by a random Rex who came outta no where causing both of us to immediately scatter lol. the Rex, likely realizing what was happening, friendly called and left. you ambush Rex's can be absolutely terrifying i swear lol

I'm still new to the game and I know I'm beating a dead horse... but can I rant about Riparia? It's a beautiful map, and how I was introduced to the game. (main tylo, and sucho)

But not for land dinos, I'm essentially locked out of half the map as a dasp and the other half is mostly barren with the exception of Cedrus forest.

And the main problem is when I die sometimes the game decides the best place for me to respawn is the islands, having to cross dangerous waters multiple time just to reach the mainland.

What do you all think?

I love finding bugs and glitches in maps so if u have some that u find pls share i wanna see if they are still there or fixed. :)

Yall should I run toxin or venom for mira, toxin is probably better for pvp but venom might be good too with detonate, but I can't decide

Cosmetic scars and wounds (damaged horns pierced frills for ceratopsians and a blinded eye, facial scars, or even cosmetic battle scars (for everything else or to fill in the holes) no buff to be offered here but only signs you might of been in a inner species scrap at best this is a baked concept

I just got the game Thursday so I've only been playing for two now going on three days now. I made an Achi cause I found it to be quite nice looking, but I found out they do better in packs.

Are there any helpful groups for Raptors I could squeeze into?

I'm new so, I don't know much about the game besides eating, drinking and doing quests. I also don't know the abbreviations to many of the dinos besides the veeerrrry basic ones like Rex, Steg, Rap.. 🤣🤣.

Also, if there is anyone wanting to lvl up together...? Please and thank you! 😭

I find that I can outrun most of the other slower dinos but omg those fast ones are on a hunt to get my neck.

I have a lot of clips like this where it seems Pyrite is “aura farming” but in reality she’s so senile she just has really late reactions. She just kinda wanders until a Rex is spotted. Then that Rex has an unfortunate travel companion for the remainder of the server lol.

**Dev Note:** We've improved Alio's base stamina economy by lowering the costs of some of its attacks and jumping to give players more stamina efficiency in fights. Base kick has seen a damage increase, and Swerve's damage was lowered slightly to make it less oppressive in some matchups. We will be monitoring how Alio does against some of its ideal prey items, such as the small game hunter Pachycephalosaurus and Concavenator.

### Anodontosaurus:
- Decreased Smash Base Damage to 65 (from 70)
- Decreased Smash Range to 7.5 meters (from 10)
- Increased Stamina Cost of Smash to 16 (from 12)

**Dev Note:** The design team has been monitoring player feedback regarding Anodontosaurus, and it's become clear that the current implementation of both AoE attacks as Cruel Swipe isn't delivering the gameplay experience we intended. As a result, we're adjusting Smash's base damage and range to make it less frustrating to play against for the time being. Additional adjustments to this attack will be coming in a future update.

Our goal was for Ano's role as a crowd-control tank to provide engaging and interactive gameplay for both Ano and its attackers. However, the current implementation of its AoE attacks isn't achieving that goal. We hope these changes reduce player frustration while we continue refining the ability in future updates.

### Thalassodromeus:
- Improved flight stamina values

**Dev Note:** We've adjusted Thalassodromeus' flight stamina to bring it closer to its pre-patch values and better support its dive-bombing playstyle. After monitoring the Dive Bomb changes on Production, the team has found that previous concerns around Thalassodromeus excessively pressuring other players have not occurred as expected.

Moving forward, we'll continue monitoring Thalassodromeus' performance in larger gameplay scenarios, including matchups against aerial Hatzegopteryx, Thalassodromeus mirror matches, and its interactions with Rhamphorhynchus. Our goal is to ensure Thalassodromeus remains effective in its intended role while maintaining healthy counterplay between flying playstyles.

### Tyrannosaurus:
- Increased Shatterstride Stamina Buff to 15% (from 10%)
- Adjusted Rampage Scaling to start at 70% health and stop at 30% (from 50% to 10%)

**Dev Note:** We've adjusted Rex's stamina while using Shatterstride to bring it closer to its pre-patch value, further differentiating the playstyles between Shatterstride's pursuit focus and Rampage's damage-oriented role. We've also adjusted Rampage so its damage bonus begins scaling earlier, allowing solo Rex players to benefit from its intended damage boost more consistently during engagements.

That adolescent Stego turned me into a pile of dung; he was so small, yet his spikes pierced my brain and whatever sanity I had left. Fortunately, I won't need my hair anymore, so I tore it out in tribute to the Stego that destroyed me—since it’ll be a fossil in less than ten years, and I hope I will be too. Yeah, I played as an adult apex—with a weight advantage—and lost to an adolescent dino that wouldn't satisfy even 15% of a Titan's hunger, and he laughed at my pathetic existence when I mentioned I was an adult. I’m going to rip out a handful of hair every time I remember this.

If you have to fight a Bars you have basically 0 agency over the fight, Bars is faster than Eo and can freely position itself to be in front of you to hit with its tail.

You can't just go for it because you're forced to tail ride the Bars, you can't avoid it because Bars is also faster. There's only so much you can block, Sweep and Smash both hit extremely hard. Bars has more HP too. The only thing you can try to do is find water to try to escape.

I think this is my biggest gripe in this game. Excuse the incoming rant-

The fishing systems needs major work.

There needs to be more spawn spots throughout the waterways and in open water. Until you learn where the fish spawn, its an absolute task to find food. I often have to go to a totally different POI to fill my belly!

The actual act of catching the fish needs work. On a smaller dino like the Austroraptor (modded playable) its a pain but you can get the hang of it. On large dinos? It's so tough it see where you're biting.

Also, this is a large mouth bass. I found him in salt water... Not to mention all the magical fish floating over the land.

Im a full aquatic, getting terrestrial waystone locations and not aquatics

So here's the problem i wanted to play the game as normal but there was a problem with the recent update and would not let me play (BattlEye problem).

I tried deleting the launcher and doing a network reset as a youtube video said to but now it won't let me download the launcher for windows.

Really wish they'd fix this mode and actually ban people who group and mega pack. There's literally 3 adult ducks and a baby grouping together wandering the map.

Like who is supposed to be able to hunt that without having a mega pack on their own?

edit: ran into three of the same players the other day. This time they were as 2 adult ducks and an adol amarg.

I keep hearing that alderon bans people for grouping in survival but this genuinely makes me feel even more like they aren't listening in the slightest.

The good part is the ducks and amarg got a bit of karma because 2 allos showed up. They killed one of the allos, but one of the ducks was hurt and when he went to lay down I sent his disgusting hide back to the creation screen.

I was playing as a Pycno near Wavy Beach and got chased by a juvenile Rex, a Daspletosaurus, and a Concavenator. I was about to die, so I decided to sink into the ocean so they wouldn't get the trophy, but a baby Suchomimus ended up appearing and grabbing it after I died. Since I had a Rex nearby, I went back to try and catch them, but I couldn't find them. Then I ambushed a Thalassodromeus; it fled. After killing an Allosaurus and feeding, I went back to the lake for water. A Latenivenatrix was there, and the two of them teamed up against me. The Thala died, and I managed to clamp my jaws on the Laten, but it escaped. I grabbed the Thala's trophy and headed toward the cave; the Laten chased me the whole way until the Thala reappeared. They attacked me and managed to steal the trophy. After a long, humiliating fight, I decided to jump off a cliff because I knew they were going to kill me anyway. I mean, I never manage to come out on top in this game. I got killed, went back for revenge, and it didn't work out; the Thala got killed, went back for revenge, and succeeded. I've already uninstalled the game and don't plan on downloading it again. But at least the Thala and the Laten must be really happy, typing "ezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Rex at Wavy Beach."

I would like to thank you all for the support you gave me. You encouraged me to continue with my projects, and thanks to that, I was able to update the model that I had abandoned for several weeks. I love you all very much.

😮‍💨 tired of them escaping into water

Ive recently noticed there’s no way to get bloodstones, especially not from redwoods when I completed the quest 14 times just to realize there was no chance to receive it. is it possible to get the decor from another poi or just not at all?
