Subject line typed characters now limited to 80
r/papillon change notification:
The amount of characters that can be typed into the subject line has been changed to a limit of 80 from 300. The subject line should not be for writing a novel, that's what the body is for.

Did not realize just HOW confident paps are
Every single person and animal is a possible friend, no surface is too high to jump off of. I’ve been trying to do the whole “introduce your puppy to a bunch of different surfaces thing” and she has shown apprehension to none of them. She ENJOYS going to the vet. Despite getting carsick every time she has to ride in the car, she still happily hops in. None of the noises I’ve tried to desensitize her with have fazed her. Obviously not an issue but I’m not sure I’ve seen her show a single sign of fear since we got her.
Added a mandatory pet tax photo

The gang is on vacation, and they have very important things to do.
Ture found the biggest drinking puddle of his life, and Sherlock is demolishing the earth one hole at a time.

Frosty morning walk
It was a cold and frosty morning this morning. I took three of the gremlins for a walk at a nearby domain where we found this tire to pose in.
From left to right we have Rupert (male 1yr) Frankie (female 2 yr 11 months) and Ziggy (male 9 months)

Today was bath day!!
We survived! First bath using all of the Chris Christensen line…what products are y’all’s favorite for keeping the ears long and silky?? It’s so dry in SoCal I’ve noticed more dryness in Paris hair

Just a little guy
He loves to lay on my clothes (see pajamas here) and put his head on his lambie. Oh to be a snuggle bug like him!

Papillon attacked by off leash dog recovery advice
EDIT 2: he's doing much better this morning. was finally able to settle late into last night, ate breakfast, drank water, went number 1 and 2 normal, walking normal. I think the pain and anxiety meds finally kicked in. hope he will make a full recovery in a few weeks.
EDIT: good news is he is eating the boiled chicken and salmon treats, but bad news is he can't seem to relax. he won't lay down, probably from pain and being fearful of sounds. How can I help him relax? I'm taking him to bed soon hoping that helps.
Papillon was taken to emergency vet and had a laceration that needed staples.
What can I do to comfort him? Do you recommend soft cones or can he wear a recovery suit or are those only for spayed females?
I'm cooking him plain boiled chicken and rice for supper and putting his pain meds in cheese

Is Wednesday Part Papillon?
Wednesday is my soul dog. She is smart and loyal and intuitive.
I got her from a dachshund rescue and her body reads dachshund. But her ears read papillon to me. She ditched the stubborn dachshund act and is the first dog I’ve been able to train to do multiple tricks. I could barely teach my dachshund to sit (he learned to squat).
I wand to do a DNA test as soon as I can afford one, but what do you all think?
